Visited this store for the first time today. Parking can be a little tight, but I found a spot on the side of the store. The store was larger than I expected. It was well organized and clean and there were several staff available if you had questions. They carry an assortment of art, furniture, and lots of glassware. There is also tools, paint, and lots of cabinets in the back. Pricing was a bit higher than other thrist stores and I didn't find anything.

I'll start by getting the altruistic stuff out of the way. Habit for Humanity is a great charity. I respect what they do, and it feels good to contribute to their mission. The rest of this review is all about ME, ME, ME! I love buying secondhand, and this is a great store. Compared to any other secondhand store in the area, Habitat for Humanity ReStore has a much bigger selection of furniture. They have a lot of chairs and sofas. They also have dressers, armoires, cabinets, bookshelves, etc. Everything is in fairly good shape; I haven't seen much junk there. Habitat ReStore also offers lots of appliances like washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc. The prices can be excellent. I believe they test appliances before they sell them, but if I were buying one, I would ask. ReStore has a small case of collectables, and a (thankfully) smallish area with miscellaneous household shi... er... stuff. If you want building materials like cabinetry, sinks, or lighting, Habitat ReStore has you covered. It's not a huge selection, but more than any other secondhand store. Merchandise at Habitat ReStore turns over frequently, so any time you go, you are sure to find something new. TIP: If you see something you like, take it to the register and make arrangements right away to buy it. I once saw three people arguing over a steamer trunk: "I was going to buy that!" "No, I saw it first!" "No, I did!" It wasn't pretty. My only gripe about Habitat ReStore is that I think their hours are dumb. They are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 to 5:00. This means that if you have a job, the only time you can shop there is at lunchtime or on Saturday. I'm docking them one star for dumb hours.

Full of terrific surprises- furniture big and small, tools and supplies. Lots of great stuff and fun to look around.

Visited twice. Prices are good, variety so so, ease to donate. Will make more visits and add if necessary.

It has taken me several weeks to add this review; however after discussing with family and friends,…read moreI realized that I would be remiss if I didn't share my experience with other potential customers. My family and I are big advocates for supporting local businesses rather than big box companies. However, we expect from all, big or small companies, respect and exceptional customer service. This is not what I experienced at this store. I went into the store looking for a sectional and possibly also a dining table. The salesperson was very attentive and willing to answer my questions. Before purchasing the sectional, I decided to check out other stores that same day to make sure I was getting a relatively good price and wasn't missing out on something else. I returned to the store the next day with the intention of buying the sectional but this is when it turned.... I asked the salesperson if the price for the sectional was the best given I saw another couch very similar at another store for less. He told me to speak to the owner regarding the price. I told the owner that I saw a similar couch for less and he told me they weren't the same. Of course I knew that! I asked him what the difference was and he gave me a short response - the quality. Ok... that was a general response so I asked further, "what about the quality?" He answered, I don't know how to explain. After a few seconds, he said.. the fabric.. warranty. Alright so then he asked me "is this your first time buying a couch?" And I said, yes. He then looked at the salesperson and said, "you see". He then said, "how old are you?" I responded, 34. He then he said "you're researching like you're 17". I was dumbfounded. It was insulting as if age had anything to do with this. He was alluding to my ability to purchase furniture, lack there of. I walked out and will never return. He tried to say that I "looked 17" which was even worse given I am a grown woman and want to be treated as such. Age has nothing to do with shopping for furniture!!! If I didn't sound "informed".. take the time to educate me, your customer, as that extra step may take you a long way! Maybe it will get you more business vs. losing it. Respect and customer service is key!!!

Absolutely fantastic place. I went to all of the other nearby furniture stores and found junk…read morefurniture, awful shipping times, and rude service. This place, however, had excellent furniture and a very nice shopkeeper. The sectional I bought here is exactly what i've been looking for and I got a great deal on it. I'll be coming back here in the future instead of wasting my time at the chain furniture stores.
