You can not charge for pick up for a donated item.I offered this store items "some new" with a $6000.00 value. Even a new Kindall Organ. The store is almost empty and is full of over priced junk. I have contacted the State Of Florida. And zGodfwill district center. The rude behavior of the person answering the phone would only tell me about the ads air business to pickup and charge $400. To $600.00 to pick up items This company filled a position with people that have no experience or knowledge. I hope the state investigates this. No wonder the prices went up.

Back in the day when Goodwill started or…read moreshould I say when I became known of what Goodwill was all about, I was glad to know I could help out by donating cloths and different things that I no longer needed, but were still in good condition, that someonelse could get more use out of it. I would even go back from time to time to shop for myself. I have also been glad to hear how they have helped so many people get jobs and get back on their feet, helped disabled people or troubled people get their life back together. I think this is a great service for Goodwill to be involved in and it seems to work. What really grinds my gizzard is the prices they are charging for this used stuff, I mean come-on really- I can get new stuff off the clearance rack at walmart cheaper than here. People have went out of their way to donate things that they would normally yardsale or donated what was left from their yardsale and Goodwill has the nerve to charge these kind of prices for items that were donated for the less fortunate people of our community, I understand their is a cost involved in cleaning the donated items, but these prices are ridiculous. I will no longer donate anything of mine to The Goodwill Industries, because of this, I will donate my things to other local charities that don't charge higher prices than Walmart, and will actually let the less fortunate ones, who's houses may have burned down or lost their belongings to theft come in and shop for free, this to me is a true charity that cares more for the community than just getting their name in the newspaper.

They did not seem to have a special colored tag deal of the week like the Goodwills in NE Florida Jacksonville have but the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely stop here again on my next excursion to the huge town of Chipley.....BTW Chipley is not a big place.
