I promised myself last year that if there was a repeat this year I would rate this shop as…read moredeserved. I will begin with service - 0 would not be a low enough rating. evidently despite the fact I have visited from out of state ( PA) one to three times a year and spending between $200 - $3200 each visit I do not 'look' like their type of customer. I have never been treated as consistently badly. this time ( my last time) - I saw the merchandise had gotten even lower scale than ever. very little to purchase. However, I was purchasing a piece of smaller furniture for a garden display. - long story short after treating me like garbage and making me wait beyond ( a half hour beyond) my turn they finally managed to ring me up. It took an hour 15 minutes to purchase an item at the posted discount. i am a 70 year old woman with a toddler and could carry the item myself. In addition (Once again) - the woman behind the counter failed to pack all the items I paid for!!! which I discovered when 130 miles away - too late to turn back. -adding insult to injury the staff acted like I was a thief or undesirable. This stunned me because far more upscale shops remember me and welcome my presence. I do not believe ladies ever treat an older customer who has purchased from them over the years in the way I have endured. I'm tired of excusing the shoddy behavior, lack of service and routine failure to pack what I purchase. Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this deteriorating standards of merchandise establishment. I will travel to other areas in the future and so should you. I have been in the business as a decorator and dealer and this place and it's desperate shabby ( in the worst way) merch and shoddy repro heavy merchandising sets a record for unpleasant and unprofessional.

Short older lady at the counter told me she would have it wrapped up for me while I finished with my shopping. Got back down to pay for it. Same lady looked me dead in my face and asked me if I knew it was $145. She did not even wrap it up because she didn't know if I could afford it. I told her I didn't give a shit how much it cost. I was purchasing it. Then told her I will NEVER EVER shop at the store again. If you want a pleasant experience with antique shopping NOT go to Old South antique mall in Dothan, Alabama.

Sharon's shop is chockful of quality stuff - intuitively arranged from front to rear and from left to right. You'll get a feel for the zones as you walk through. We met Miss Sharon at the half-way point - and genteel and all-'round lovely lady who shared with us that she'd opened up for business 17 years ago and has enjoyed a steady stream over the years. Her shop is too nice to not be talked about here in Tallahassee though. If antiquing is your thing, make the haul and come up here. Don't believe me? - Check out the images. One woman there (seemed like the owner) was so sweet and personable, and helped me find some items to try on and that I was looking for. She told me this is a multi generational woman owned store and it shows. There is some amazing thrift and vintage in these racks at all different price ranges (a bunch more accessible stuff and then some higher priced vintage dresses and pieces). If you enjoy the hunt this is a great spot for it! I walked away with an incredible pair of leather pants, a cashmere zip up hoodie, a macrame vintage bag and two mid century modern gorgeous coupe type glasses for like $80! Any one of these individual trendy/timeless items could've been in a high end shop for $80. I feel like this shop has something for everyone and it's enormous so it's a fun place to visit to kill time :) Thanks again. I wish I was local so I could come back.

Unfortunately there was nothing that fit the style I was attempting to achieve. Because these items are vintage and I believe many are priced by individual sellers you will have a myriad prices, but I saw several people that had picked up items. I would say for items that are vintage/secondhand the prices are a little more than I'd like to spend. There was actually a lot of foot traffic there for a random Tuesday afternoon.
