Thrift stores are a great way to save money and give back to the community in several ways. Donate usable items and clothing that can be resold to help provide jobs and serve others. Intake workers will unload your donations and offer a receipt. Please be kind when dropping off...remember someone has to sort through all that stuff. Goodwill stores seem better organized than in the past and off have extra discounts to move older merchandise. While I was there, yellow tags were 75% off, so I went on a scavenger and found a glamorous sweater for the holidays for the grand total of $1.22; tax free since your purchase is considered a charitable donation. read more

Moved here from out of state. I've shopped at this store a few times. Looking very clean and organized recently compare to other stores and pretty big. There's an employee might be new with long hair that works on the floor that is very nice and helped me pick out some shirts a mids of running around hanging up clothes. There is something that has bothered me....every time I've gone up to pay cashiers are talking amongst themselves talking about there personal lives even men they are dating which i don't think is very professional. Maybe they need a little more training in keeping those conversations for their breaks. There's a girl that walks around the floor on her phone /earpiece loud enough to hear that she was having conversations with a man the way she was talking so unprofessional. I found the staff here to be rude. I am not sure why Goodwill thinks they should price some items higher than they would be at the normal store on sale. Today I saw a dress priced at 275.00 and it was outdated and nothing special. I asked what brand is that--they wouldn't let me hold it just showed it to me as it was hanging behind the register(I was eyeballing it as a possible costume!) so you can imagine it was a little on the tacky side. She said oh it's from Neiman Marcus. Who gives a flying fuck---it's at goodwill now bitch! She said oh would you like to know how much it is before I take it down? I said NO I am more curious about what size it is...But I was pretty amazed at this price tag I must say.... I did find them to be well stocked in books....depending on what you like to read. I did end up getting something to use as a costume possibly---and it wasn't tagged for price. One clerk said oh make it 4.99 but the other bitch thought that wasn't enough so she made a call and decided that I should pay 7.99 for it. This Goodwill is on the larger side. I like That it's very well lit, spacious, and organized by clothing color. Most of the store is clothing, so if you're looking for furniture, it might be hit or miss for you. The prices are what you'd expect for a thrift store. On certain days, there are sales for each color "tag". For example, when I was there earlier, they were doing 50% off all housewares and clothing with a blue tag. If you're not overwhelmed by having to pick through a lot of clothing racks, you could probably find some good deals. read more

Goodwill is a charitable organization that resells donated secondhand goods to support their mission. It smells like old stuff and you may not see anything but junk, but the prices rock and you just never know what you may uncover if you have time to mill through the racks and shelves. They've got clothes, home furnishings, lamps, knick knacks, art, small appliances, jewelry, shoes, scarves, & hats. I've bought several things that I absolutely love and the prices are great! I checked in at this Goodwill store location hoping to find a straw hat for a costume...no luck. However; I was more surprised to find that no one had written a review. Goodwill...it's name pretty much says it all. A store with primarily donated items from the community and resold at low prices. The donations help fund job training programs at the store for people that lack job experience or education. The low prices helps those struggling to make ends meet. A pretty awesome combination. The store itself is well lit, clean and very well organized. There isn't a large staff, but everyone is very helpful even when it's busy. You'll find a range of household items, not just clothing. It's also extremely easy to donate. They have a receiving dock at the outside corner of the building. You just drive up and someone will come out to your car and help you unload your stuff. If no one shows there is a bell at the door to alert an employee. I've never waited more than a couple of minutes. (If you have to wait, just remind yourself you're there to be charitable.) They need to give the manager more training on how to handle customer disputes.. I had asked one of the employees behind the register if I could put a large item I wanted back there while I shopped which they did. As I was coming up to check out with the other things I had I seen some lady had my item from behind the counter in her hand, I told her I was buying that and she said she was. Well anyway, I asked for the manager as well as the person who had put it behind the counter for me. The manager then came up while the woman kept telling the check out girl to just check her out as she had a Dr.'s appt to get to. The clerk that had put it behind the counter even told the manager the item was mine to buy as well as another clerk but the lady kept persisting to check her out. Then the manager said some man had told her " I " had changed my mind, so she put the item back out. I told the manager, clearly I had not changed my mind I was not there with any man and I had even asked the clerks to place another large item behind the counter along with it as well. Needless to say the manager did not listen to me nor her clerks but allowed the woman to purchase my item. I certainly hope their home office reads this and takes the time to train their managers on how to handle customer disputes. I would not want my manager to have handled it that way, I will never return to that store again, and she made her employee's look bad. read more

It was a mixed reaction. The men's t shirts were 1.49 and found an Adrian Peterson jersey for 4 bucks. A Rams jacket was 6 though. It was a bit on the unclean side and the selection wasn't the greatest. read more

Denise? I believe the name tag said. I could hear this employee complaining from across the store. Yes it was towards closing time. I've never seen or heard anyone throw this big of a fit about more than 1 thing within only 5 minutes and have it be heard all across the store.
