Love the pool here. The water is decent temperature. The hot tub is relaxing. The exercising place is decent. The staff here are nice. Great place to go to when the temperatures are getting cooler since less outdoor activities to enjoy

The one and only pool area. There is a spa for those 18 and up.

This gym gets the job done. Upsides: Childcare is included in the membership! The pool is well designed for lap swimmers! The showers are HOT and they have soap at each station. They appear to provide towels (Not sure exactly about this) The Spa is plenty hot They appear to have most of the machines you'd want for lifting weights Staff is friendly Downsides: The lockers are rusted out (All of them) The tops of the lockers are coated in dust (All of them) The steam room isn't very hot, nor was it clean (18+ only) The spa doesn't allow anyone under 18 in it (see freezing children cold from the pool) The showers are in the hallway that everyone has to travel to reach the pool The floors are visibly dirty (even in the mandatory feet only area's) This is an older facility. It feels old in its design and function. Millennial types will likely abhor its lack of privacy in the locker rooms. But when it comes down to it, everything you need is here and with a little effort on your part it can be great (see clean).

Too many kids not enough counselors and communication to parents when field trips ran late. Will not return this summer.

The staff are the most helpful and accommodating. With 3 children to sign up for classes it is not always easy. We love the Y.

My only complaint was outdated cardio and weight equipment, which have both been updated. Excellent staff and place to work out.

Shred415 is by far the most fun workout class I have ever taken! My fiancé and I signed up last…read moreyear in October and we have been coming about 4/5 times a week ever since. Reasons why I love the workout: 1. Treadmills / running are incorporated! I love to run but I hate when I have to chose either weights or running. I love Shred because it keeps both! 2. Minimal thought/ experience required. You don't have to wait for equipment or think about what your next set is going to consist of because they tell you what to do the entire time! Also, if you don't know how to do something- it doesn't matter- because your instructor shows you each move before they expect you to do it. Reason why I love this location specifically: The Instructors & Staff are just the best! I truly feel like I have made some great friends here and that all of the people in this location genuinely care about you. It's so nice that I can pick my classes to go with my favorite instructors or I can take one with someone that's not in my regular "schedule" and I still get the same amazing workout and attention. Overall, the gym is clean, safe, but most importantly fun! 100% would recommend to anyone of any experience level!

For nearly $400 a month, I expected a premium fitness club--not an employee-led scavenger hunt…read more Sharon, a personal trainer at LifeTime Fitness in Frontenac, apparently believes that returning equipment to the place it belongs is just a fun suggestion. Members spend enough time working out without having to tour the entire gym looking for equipment that was left somewhere else. When I mentioned that the equipment should be put back where it came from, Sharon's professional response was to tell me to "mind your own business" and that "it doesn't matter" where the equipment is returned. Interesting philosophy. I wonder if LifeTime feels that way, too. You can almost understand when an occasional member leaves equipment lying around. But when it's an employee--someone who's literally being paid to teach good habits--it's a masterclass in hypocrisy. Maybe the next training package should include a session called "How to Return Equipment 101." It's a short class: pick it up, walk it back, and put it where you found it. For a club that markets itself as a luxury fitness experience, I'd expect trainers to set the example--not encourage members to lower their standards. Apparently, "mind your own business" is now considered customer service.
