The Sandy Goodwill is just fine. It shares a parking lot with a Wendy's but there's always plenty of room to park. The employees on the floor and at the donation door have been decently friendly. As of summer 2024, the dressing rooms are open for limited hours. The selection is similar to other Goodwill stores, as they distribute things around the area so the goods for sale and the layout will feel very familiar to other stores. read more

Noticed this Goodwill Superstore on our way back from Mt. Hood and had to stop in. It has the same lay out of all Goodwill Stores. it's neat and well organized. bathrooms are clean. I'm always looking for barware and unique serving pieces. They didn't have much in this department, timing is everything with Goodwill. Lots and lots of jeans - Americans clear obsession with finding the perfect pair and discarding dozens along the way. Small furniture, kids toys, books, clothing, bedding. All the norms. Plus lots of western boots, it is in the Mt. Hood area, after all! The prices seemed higher than other locations. a few small Pyrex glass baking dishes were $6.99 which is a buck or two more than brand new! No "finds" on this trip but when passing through, I'll stop again. it's all about the hunt. read more

Goodwill Sandy is the WORST Goodwill to donate your items. Yesterday we attempted to donate two outdoor solar chandeliers. The "supreme" donation employee told us Goodwill would not accept the chandeliers. My wife asked if they accept tiki torches the answer was yes. We asked if they accepted lamps, the answer was yes. The donation employee attempted to throw the chandeliers into the back of our van after a younger, kinder, level-headed employee had place the chandeliers into the bin. He became belligerent and forgot for moment that the "customer is always right". He should have conferred with the manager before becoming bellicose. We asked to see the manager who after some discussion accepted the chandeliers after lecturing us on how nice of a man the donation employee really is and how Goodwill spends billions of dollars taking garbage to the dump. Touche.."supreme" donation employee.... I could have driven another two miles up the road to the recycling center and disposed of the chandeliers at no charge since they are metal. I thought someone might want to buy them for their yard. What kind of place has Goodwill become? I will NEVER donate to Goodwill again! Goodwill has lost its mission to help others and has raised prices to gouge people and make clothing unaffordable for those who need clothing at a fair price. read more

Prices on many items are way too high. Have seen tagged items priced higher than the store sticker where it was originally sold. Low overhead and all donated... so why do they need to be so expensive? read more

In the process of moving I came across a couple items that I felt were worth donating, Samsung sound bar and sub woofer, One-year-old coffee pot some kids toys a few pillows just typical household items we come across that we don't feel we need anymore we still felt somebody could use, my work schedule is tough I leave early in the morning and usually don't come home until late at night Monday morning May 10th I loaded everything up in my work truck and decided I would leave these few items by the door not feeling that my items were garbage or I was illegal dumping, seven days later my employer received a picture of my company vehicle the items that I left and a very strategically damaging letter in an attempt to get me terminated from my job by notifying my employer of the class c misdemeanor I committed with their vehicle. thanks mgr TYLER HORTTOR. Per company request they urged me to make the situation right pending my job to go up and retrieve the items that Goodwill says I illegally dumped I contacted Goodwill in Sandy and I was told that the items that I donated had already been sold. Items I donated roughly exceeded $400 which I'm sure Goodwill made a pretty penny on in the process of trying to get me terminated from my job, if I felt that I was doing something wrong why would I have drove my company vehicle with a large logo on the side? I could've drove my personal vehicle and threw the tailgate down on my pick up where they couldn't see my license plates. Just looking to get the word out there over the years goodwill has literally capitalized they gloat very highly on hiring disabled citizens and pay them barely a livable wage is a large corporation that makes billions I strongly urge for no one to ever shop here or donate here, goodwill industries is absolutely disgusting. read more

I always loved stopping into Sandy Goodwill. I stopped in yesterday to find that their prices have dramatically changed for the worse. They wanted $199 for a used throw rug, $160 for a used corner buffet/entertainment center with a massive scratch embedded on the top. An Airfryer for $160, an old sound system for $145ish, I could go on and on about how outrageous their prices have become. I was a regular shopper with them, till this visit. Unless something changes and they come back down to earth I will no longer be frequenting their store. Why would anyone spend those prices on used or damaged items when you can buy them brand new for less, or the same price? Peace OUT! read more

This is the last time we will attempt to donate any more of our clean and quality items to Goodwill in Sandy. The same grouchy, unreasonable, and rude man has twice tried to go through all items at my vehicle and keep/reject what he sees fit. He uses the excuse that "such and such items don't sell in the store" Funny, I shop at this store and have seen or in the past purchased the same type of items. Today he rejected a brand new in the package Duvet Set. My husband told him that all of our items are clean and resellable and if he was going to make my husband stand there while he went through a whole car load of donations, we would take them elsewhere, which we did. We will drive further and donate to someone else from now on. This has been a three year? span with this same Donation Attendant. It happened a few years ago, and for a while it seemed as though he no longer worked there. We took items there to donated and a friendly and efficient attendant who did look in the bags at our items but did not try to "sort" them as we waited like the other man. Well today we tried to Donate again and had the "Grumpy" employee. My husband also watched today's employee let a man with a table to donate struggle to carry it on his own. The employee did not offer any assistance to the man, the man clearly agitated, ended up dragging the table over to the donation area by himself which obviously scratched and damaged the table. read more

I pulled up to donate bags of clothes and there was a lady in front of me donating and she was turned away because her bags smelled like " cat pee " and she seemed vary upset and embarrasse. she drove off and I pulled up and the guy came out and in a rude attitude told me he wouldn't take my bags because they smelled like " rotten cat pee " when I don't own any animals and I washed them before donating. I live in Sandy Oregon. I have been shopping at Goodwill for 15 years. Today I was rudely informed by Valerie, a Good will employee, that I could not come into the store without my two year old granddaughter, unless, she wears a mask! First, Valerie was not friendly when she informed me. Second, good luck keeping a mask on a two year old. Third if she was the manager, she needs to take classes on how to talk to her customers. Four she kicked me out of the store because I told her never to be rude to me again. Sandy is a small town. I will never return, I will never make another donate, and I will never encourage anyone to shop the Sandy Goodwill store. read more

It's a new Goodwill - has ample parking, a nice building, and your typical Goodwill layout. Lots of good finds at great prices. We'll be back! read more

This location is only a year old. The building is new and clean. The clothes are in good condition, overall. As always, smalls are in x-large and size 4 jeans are mixed with 16. The staff is very friendly. I didn't see any higher end brands. Mostly you will find Old Navy, Walmart and Target brands. read more
