Awesome experience at store. Number#5182 and Rosenberg. The Staff are so nice and welcoming. Ms Janice and Ma Oh yeah Lisa are so polite and very knowledgeable and assist you and greet you when you come in the door. Brenda, the store. Manager is very kind and assist you in. Anyway, you see fit Bryan the store. Manager is also a good aspect set to Goodwill. These employees rock in my book. I love the store. read more

Good stuff some employees were hovering though and it was kind of stressful. I stayed before they closed and one of the managers got all strict and said leave ya bags by the door and locked it until I had paid for everything. Idk why my friend and I were so magnified in there. But it made for an unwelcoming atmosphere Otherwise excellent selection of merchandise etc. Decent prices. Prices are too high. Books are often priced at half retail price or more like Half-Priced Books.

I really like this location. I always find something I didn't know I was looking for and sometimes something I didn't the store could be organized a little better but they do a decent general job of tops and bottoms and mens and children. We used to donate heat a lot and always got quick service but they have so much stuff that we donate to more local places. If you have elementary to teenage clothes donate to LCISD Common Threads by Jane Long Elementary. Only downside is they don't always have someone at the register if it's not busy. I've personally never had to wait but I've seen others. read more

I had 5 boxes of items to donate, yesterday. I went to the Rosenberg, Texas Good Will location. I was told they could not accept my items. When I questioned them not accepting household goods and books (all my items were on the "approved" list), I got a shrug and was told "Sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't. Especially if they're dirty." I can assure you my items were NOT dirty. I would never donate items not in clean and usable condition. I have never been made to feel so bad for trying to be of benefit to others. read more

I came to donate things, I'm donating not selling them & I am sure they get payed to go ahead and work at the drive thru service, when I pulled up guy said "what you got" like what do you mean what I got? I have things to donate obviously, if I am there is to donate. Or what else I supposed to describe every single thing I am donating? Oh also he told me very rude, you can't just pull up I need your permission to reach out to grab stuff from your trunk, since he had an attitude I ignored him and got my attitude as well and said it's okay I'll do it. So basically I had to put everything in the cart without his help. The manager named Regina was working on 4/30 was very unprofessional, very rude to customer. I know most of the people that shops there look for deals but when you try to talk to her she looks down on you holding her phone looking at it ... I mean I know some people doesn't have money to buy new stuff but most of us just like to go there and hunt for goodies like a hobby ... the store is now well kept like the other for example Sugar lane and greatwood ... smell like restroom ... items are sometimes overpriced ... This store has gone downhill. The pricing is ridiculous. Some items are higher then retail stores. Broken items on the shelves. When I walk in a Goodwill store and don't buy anything something is wrong! Don't waste your time here. read more

This location was recommended but was very disappointed. An employee was very nice and helpful but couldn't say the same with their cashier IL838. I couldn't see his turned name tag and I did ask if he could small and small talk but to no avail. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but felt bad walking out. OMG, the used items WERE EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Hope they reconsider their pricing next time we come in and see what changes, if any, have been made. read more

This Goodwill is very strange. The clothing choices are very bad and quite expensive. The overall layout is awkward and does not foster a leisurely stroll but rather a quick glance because you're definitely in somebody's way. The cashiers are very slow. However, it has one redeeming quality, the housewares selection is very good and quite cheap. I've found several good kitchen items here including a single-cup French press for 99¢. read more

Great service! The drive thru was easy I just told the young man that everything was going and took it all out and asked if I wanted a receipt for tax and that was it! Doesn't get any better than that...in and out in under 5 minutes. read more

I boxed up some great items and tried to donate them on 8/1/2023. However, all items were rejected. The Rosenberg Goodwill location only accepts clothing and all other items will be reviewed for acceptability. My small donation box was comprised of an expensive brand new and working gaming keyboard, 3 jars of brand new sealed and wrapped Shea Moisture skin cream, 250+ baseball cards, 10 universal remotes cleaned and in excellent condition, and history books with CDs. The lady reviewed the box and declined our donation. She said they did not have a list of accepted or rejected items. So, it appears that the policy is just up to the person receiving the drop-off. This is so weird that they did not want items that would bring in $$ for Goodwill. I noticed the same treatment to others when I dropped off clothing donations about a month ago. For other cars, they were reviewing items and declining the donations on an item-by-item basis. read more

Mostly used and abused items. I like to browse the shop for rare find like Antiques. I was Extremely disappointed things are crazy overpriced. For example, items from the dollar store: bins, buckets, cups, toys, etc. marked "Greenbriar" (dollar tree trademark) were for sale in this store for 1.99 & 2.99! Huh. Many items broken or not "tested". Clothing had pills, we're stained, torn, some smelled really bad like b.o., buttons, strings/belts missing. Things marked 2 pc. only had 1 pc. I was pretty shocked actually. Inside of hand bags and back packs are filthy w. Crumbs, hair, junk. All they need is a little t.l.c. to be cleaned out with lysol wipes if someone would take the time. I bought an old faded radio flyer scooter with cracked handle for $10, a dirty old Skateboard for $6.99 and another $4.99 for a Helmet which i thought was too much but my son really wanted it but it broke further at home. I lysol-ed the heck out of them. Some Shoes were in terrible condition, very dirty and dusty, mud stuck on the bottom, some were average but all of them were priced $7.99 and up. Everytime i picked a name brand item, like a t-shirt, for example fortnite (used) the cashier would say this is more, 6.99. Not cool. Some items in the cases were $30-40! Furniture is ridiculously priced. Sheets and curtains are sold by the piece not sets and labeled wrong (table cloth labeled as a blanket)! Alot of the Toys were already chipped/ broken and the boxes were open and Games& puzzle pieces were missing. Such a shame. Nothing of use here except Christmas decorations. Books and CDs should be $1.00. Some of them are really scratched and/or sticky but range from 99c to $10. Why are they trying to rip people off that really need them? They put too many stickers and thick tape on the goods not in an obscure place or wrote with sharpee on the clothes. I feel they purposely Ruin the things. It is so annoying. I brought some items back the next day w. Receipt. They said they are not from that store and would not accept them. What?! That's bogus because i had a receipt plus i donated $1,000 worth of items last year & didn't even see any of it on the floor. I'd really like to speak to the District Manager. What kind of racket is this?? It Comes down to the workers. The stuff need to be cleaned /sanitized. It's just gross in there. I was confused why they arranged clothes by color and not by size which is so time consuming to look through and very annoying. The employees seem overwhelmed and I'm sure underpaid. They don't make eye contact, leave their racks and bins/carts all over the store and there are Long lines and no back-up. I'm talking about Rosenberg Brazos Center Location). I would not go back! I felt like i needed a shower after leaving there. Not all stores are like this i don't think. I probably missed a bunch but that's enough for now. read more

This store seems to be new and it is very clean. So far I think it's a good spot and I will come back to see what else they have they don't have a whole lot yet but as you know the new stores seem to build up quickly. I was greeted when I walked in the door and the employee's seemed nice there were a few standing around chatting with each other but other than that I say this place is pretty good. read more

I took a pickup load of toys and clothing today. Instead of being grateful and taking all of the donation they throw boxes back in my truck of what they don't want. I think this is rude and discourteous. Our donations pay their salaries. They could trouble themselves to sort the donations and then take action to throw away what they don't want.
