Neatly organized and smell free which is always a plus. They had sales through out. Plenty on inventory and staff was friendly. They had variety of items which consist of shoes, purses. I have trouble shopping at a place that gets piles and piles of donated free items and charges outrageous prices bc thrift shopping has become trendy. They actually even have multiple retail items for sale in their original packaging. The CEO' get paid 6 figures and while we were in store shopping a homeless man came in asking for a blanket bc we were in for a cold spell and the cashier told him it's against store policy. That is absolutely the opposite of my idea of goodwill. My husband bought the blanket and ran the man down to give it to him. When corporate greed hits goodwill, I'll look elsewhere and encourage others to help other thrift stores who actually use their donated goods for what it's intended rather than stuffing managements pockets. read more

On the smaller side, this location is newer than most locally. The employees are consistently friendly and helpful. I've donated many bags of items here in the past, conveniently, with the drive up drop off. The clothing is typically neatly arranged, though the shelving sections are always bit of a jumbled mess. Household items, seasonal, books - just tossed on shelves. I mean, it's a thrift store, so I don't expect perfection by any means, but there appears to be little effort for neatness in these areas. As it's not a large store, there's room for only a handful of larger furniture like couches and tables. The prices are comparable to other stores of the same caliber. Pretty small goodwill, very unorganized but wasn't expecting it to be. I love going to all different goodwills and I sure will come back. They price furniture at amazing low prices. I got a very nice filing cabinet for $9, adorable lamp for $2, and so much more for low prices. Thanks a lot for pricing at cheap prices, definitely will recommend to others!! read more

Absolutely RIDICULOUS prices on vintage items. Whoever is managing this place needs to stop watching American Pickers and realize that they are running a THRIFT STORE rather than an antique shop. See, at an antique shop the dealer has to PAY FOR THE ITEM, then CLEAN IT UP, then FIX IT (if it needs fixing, which most of these Goodwill items do need), not to mention an antiques dealer has to drive far and wide looking for these items. An antique store owner also has to have a very good education on what an item is and what it is actually worth in a retail setting. The Goodwill manager who marks their DONATIONS up to (and beyond) antique store prices does NONE of these things. They obviously have no education or understanding of vintage items beyond what they see on television or eBay. (Hint: learn how to use the "Sold Items" search . . . or, better yet, pay for a Worthpoint membership, like I do.) This particular Goodwill is the worst of the 6 - 10 Goodwill's that I visit on a weekly basis. Whoever is pricing this stuff should be fired. I will still visit because it's on my route, but I've found that I've spent much less there over the last year. (I am an antique store owner and I spend thousands of dollars a year at 2nd hand & thrift stores on vintage/antique items.) Oh, and I also own about ten thousand records. It is a major hobby (obviously). This is the WORST Goodwill for buying records. The absolute worst. Whoever is pricing their records should be fired. Pricing scratched, warped, split seam classic rock records at TWICE what I ask for the same records in better condition at my shop (I clean my records and place them in plastic sleeves for my customers . . . and even then I don't have the nerve to ask fifteen-dollars for a beat up Lynyrd Skynyrd record which wouldn't be worth ten dollars in NM condition.) read more

Attention to customer needs is lacking . Long lines are ignored and customer needs ignored.

Rude, Rude management. Unbelievable marked up prices. $60 for a muddy, dirty absolutely ruined wedding dress, someone might buy it for an undead bride halloween costume, but not for $60.00 and certainly not for an actual wedding dress. There are many things in this store that you could purchase new at a lower price. Often things are written on the clothes in permanent marker which shows thru on the other side of the fabric.And have I mentioned how unbelievably rude their management is? read more

I went too the goodwill mid rivers...bought a vase...was very beautiful...took it home..my sister said to look on the bottom and see who made it...come to find out it was a used urn...had the date on it and everything...goodwill had put the sticker over it..I immediately threw it in the trash..called them this morning they said I should of put it outside and brought it back...I did not want that thing anywhere near me...I will never go back to mid rivers goodwill...be careful what you buy there :-( read more

I have found so many awesome items at this store! I did have one problem with the price of something and I spoke with the store manager who actually agreed with me and went to the back to research and changed the price. I have never seen any other Goodwill manager care. They usually just say they can't negotiate but this one is very fair and wants to make the customer happy.
