Had a great shopping experience, particularly when I went to check out. There wasn't a long line and there were several cashiers. Christian greeted me at the register with big smile and a very positive attitude! He asked if I was using any discounts today, such as Senior Discount. So glad that he mentioned it, as I had forgotten there is a Senior Discount... that saved me quite a bit of money. The store always looks great but the prices keep going up. The idea of going to a thrift store is to cut out waste and find a unique item. When prices are this high it's doesn't draw me in like it used to. CDs are still $3.00. read more

I love checking out goodwill. Go there at least two to three times a week. Never had any problems with them. But today I found out some shocking news. So every goodwiller knows about their color tag discount of the day. Today color was purple ( 100% positive) and the other one was tan I think. Anyways I spent $137.52. 31 items. When I got home I took a look at my receipt which I normally don't do but to day I did. All 31 items was charged at the original price. WHAT!!!! I had at least 10 items that have purple tag on them. So what the fudge. Then I found a receipt from a few days ago and that too nothing was discounted. I know I had to have had a item that was of the color of the day. That old receipt is a long shot but today receipt clearly shows not one of the items were discounted. I called the store and left a message with the GM. Tomorrow I'm gonna go back with the purple tag items still on the merchandise with my receipt and find out what's going on. read more

OH MY GOSH - this is a fabulous Goodwill. They are very organized, making it easy to find things. They even have handicap type transport inside (motorized seated carts). Everything is very well priced. I found an end table for under $8.00. Some gorgeous table lamps for under $20. The jewelry selection was amazing, as was the glassware and kitchen area. The clothes go on and on. There are weekly specials of 30 and 50% off, depending on tag color and on Wednesdays, seniors get an extra %15 off (and you only have to be 55+). Wonderful store with friendly employees! And - they make donations a breeze! read more

Grand Junction CO, Not happy with the remodel. The toy area is so small and the items are stacked on top of each other and it is hard to see what there is. They need shelves or some type of organization for toys. The Halloween stuff is taking up too much room. Too much clothes in the front of store...The layout before remodel was better. read more

I LOVE THIS SHOP! I regularly thirft and have been to a fair share of shops. However this Goodwill is my favorite by far. I always find something (and a little more) ! The staff are friendly and helpful! The store is very clean and everyone had masks on! Highly recommed! read more

We live in Montrose CO, and are about an hour from the Grand Junction Goodwill store. The GJ location was always our go-to for clothes shopping because of the unique funds you could discover and we would often drive an hour for a day of shopping, stopping at The Goodwill first. I was saddened to find out that the store has permanently closed its changing rooms. Considering that the store policy is to ONLY offer store credit for returns rather than give refunds, and that we live an hour away; returning to the store to collect and /or use the store credit is not convenient. Since we can no longer use the dressing room to see if clothes will fit prior to purchase, we will sadly have to stop shopping at the Grand Junction location. It is this dressing room decision that has caused our dissatisfaction and the one star rating. I would not recommend shopping here unless you live close enough to stop in frequently to return clothing that didn't fit and utilize the store credit. It truly is unfortunate since this was our favorite part of our shopping excursions. read more

I am appalled at the horrible customer service here and especially from the store manager. I used to enjoy shopping there but I have been utterly disappointed in how they operate.. My dad purchased a DVD VHS combo and they assured him that it works great but when we got it home one side did not work. Have had many problems before with other items as well. I feel if they are going to sell electronics they should test and make sure they are working... As far as their customer service I am surprised that anyone would want to return.. read more

I am very disappointed in the customer service received at the donation center. The gentleman who helped us didn't say anything to us, basically yanked the items from my hands and tossed them into a bin. This is the second time we have encountered this individual. He was not friendly and this will make me think twice before going back to this retailer. read more

Very friendly employees, for women and children the selection is large, for men, not so much. They have furniture, household goods, jewelry, sports items, and free coffee. I would recommend this store for affordable, limited budget shopping. read more

Likely one of the cleanest and most organized Goodwill stores that I have visited. They have a large inventory and everything is well displayed. The books are a bit more than i'm used to paying at the Denver Goodwill but everything else more than makes up for it. read more

Just like you would expect for Goodwill. Clean and organized. Bought a pair of pants Arizona brand for my fiancé $7.99 and a solid wood bookcase for $10. I had gone without my fiancé the first time and bought him a shirt. It didn't fit so I brought it back the next day and was happily surprised when I got cash back instead of store credit. I ended up buying 2 pairs of jeans for my teenage son and paid less than $11. read more

Hi, This Goodwill has no goodwill and, far from helping anyone, is ripping off low income people. I threw a couple of bicycles away and wasted them rather than give them to this place. I opened a yelp account just to give this place a negative review. My wife and I spent $12 on 2 electric blankets. Neither one worked. I took them back 2 days later. However the manager wouldn't allow me to return them without a receipt, even though the cashier kept saying she remembered me and the price tags were still on them. The manager's reason for not accepting the blankets w/o a receipt was that there was no way to find out what the sales colors were when I bought them (2 days ago). My mother in law returned a clock radio here that didn't work and shopped around some more. She wasn't even out of the store before it was back on the shelf. ~Matt read more
