Full Disclosure, I work for Goodwill but in a different division than the retail stores. I also shop at Goodwill...a lot and have long before working for GW. This store is very well organized, clean and has a nice presentation of the donations. Just check out the book section. It is shopped often and a popular spot in the store but always tidy and organized by hard/soft cover, fiction/nonfiction and genres. Dressing room attendants are attentive and quick. I went here yesterday and let me say the staff really made me uncomfortable. As soon as I got in the store there were just a bunch of staff around me, the first few isles I went to, the same few people would be in the next isles very obviously just pretending to work. As I continued shopping there would be employees that would come over and put things on the racks and just reach over me/my cart without even a simple "excuse me". There was even a young man (he was an employee as well) that just walked in my face to get a hanger I guess, but didn't say excuse me or sorry after completely violating my personal space. After this I looked around a bit more then went to check out shortly after, and the same young man comes from the back and tells the other person at the register to leave, he then checks me out and instead of folding all of the clothes I had he just threw them all on the counter leaving me to fold them, and when I folded the clothes to put in my bag he threw them back in the unorganized pile he created. I had a good amount of clothes I won't lie but you're working in retail there are some things that you know you're supposed to do like fold the goods the customer is buying especially because Goodwill does not provide bags. Honestly, I love this specific store they typically have a good selection of items, but this experience made me very uncomfortable and I am unsure if I would EVER select this store again because of this experience. read more

This used to a great place. Lately however they have jacked up there prices to unreasonable levels. Selling not vintage but just old and almost worn out speaker for prices one would expect to pay for used but good as new prices. I don't mind paying reasonable prices for electronics and speaker but what's going on here is just greed and borderline scam. I was offered that I could return the speakers if they didn't work which is unusual. But I also paid pretty much double what the speaker is worth. Smh. For items they pay nothing for they can and should do better. Sad I used to like this goodwill. Msy have to rethink my patronage in the future. read more

For several years I would drive 40 min several times a month to shop this Goodwill. I loved it. I was there today & discovered they are no longer having a certain color tag half off each week. Also the prices are ridiculous!! $4 for a dinner plate!! I'll drive 25 minutes north to the Manitowoc store. They still have a 50% off every week. The employees said it's been horrible with the discontinuing of this program. Goodwill gets the item for $0. Their CEO is one of the richest because he is paid so well. read more

I think this Goodwill has a great staff and selection. I frequent here and I also brought different friends and family before. My mom once accidentally broke a plate and though the associate seemed upset, they handle that professionally and took care of the broken glass. I recommend this Goodwill! read more

Love this place and the staff is so friendly! I just wish it was closer, but Grafton is such a nice area to drive around so it's a win win!

When the manager tried to charge me more for an item than was advertised, I questioned it and she literally threw her hand in my face and said "that's the way it is here" and walked off. She treated me like a subhuman. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere, or you too might suffer the oh so timely "talk to the hand" treatment. read more

the work environment is great and the employees are nice but the management could use some work. they turn the lights off ten early even if we still need to shop and make announcements every fuve minutes. lovely place to shop during the day with a wide variety of things to look through. the carts say don't shop but you can shop them they don't care. read more

One of my favorite goodwill locations in southeastern Wisconsin. The store is well organized and clean. Parking is a challenge on occasions of tag sale days or other special days. On more then one occasion one had to park on a adjacent street and hike up the hill. The merchandise is priced fairly and I always seem to find more then I'm looking for when I shop here. The staff is friendly and that along with cool stuff gives this location a 4 star rating. read more

Goodwill is probably the biggest scam ever. They take donations and sell them. They are listed as a non profit but they make profit through other people's donations. There mission is to employee people they can use for money and tax return write offs. There basically is no return policy. If you buy something the money has to stay in the store. This should be, in many ways, illegal. They make you feel like your donating to there cause but your donating to their pocket book. read more

Service was horrible. Went to try on clothes, and it had taken 10 min to get someone to even notice me, for ONE item. After they had noticed me, they rolled their eyes and came over. Did not say a single word. I said thank you, was ignored. Said thank you louder and got an eye roll. The next time I went to try on clothes, no one was to be seen to help. This store continues to go down hill. Prices keep climbing. While rude attitudes escalate, especially management. The latest new RUDE thing is the announcements starting at 430 and then EVERY 5 MINUTES to let the customers know that the store is closing at 5:00. Then they are turning the lights off at 10 minutes to 5:00. And just incase you didnt hear the every 5 minute ANNOUNCEMENTS should you happen to walk by or make eye contact with an employee will tell you we're closing in 20 minutes. Standing in line to check out theres a cart at the end of the registers so I'm looking thru it, when a cashier very RUDELY says you can't shop in that cart. Its shop back stuff! The carts of stuff they are putting out have signs on them. Dont shop off the carts. Why are they there then? They are not wiping down shopping carts either. So that's my last few shopping experiences. Over PRICED ,RUDE EMPLOYEES, DIRTY CARTS. Yea, I'll spend my money else where. Heres a kicker at check out. Would you like to round up to help support our mission? Yea no thanks, greedy. It's not enough that the community donates items , that you over price them, are rude to us while we shop there then you ask for our change as well. Need help getting something to your car ? Heres a dollies, we cant help you lift a dresser, chair , cabinet, etc. You cant do it yourself & want a refund, ya NO, SORRY to bad for you. WE DON'T GIVE REFUNDS DOESN'T WORK, TO BAD FOR YOU , WE DONT GIVE REFUNDS. There's a sign on the door. But they'll take it out of your car should it be a donation. At 7PM on 5/6/19 me, my girlfriend and our son went shopping at goodwill in Grafton WI. We always shop there. I go there often as my card shows. We came to shop, and to exchange two pair of jeans. We thought we lost the receipt. Later we found it in the car. I was sitting on it apparently We save my sons cloths and we teach him about sharing by donating our stuff we gather in our trunk. The manager Robert and the Assistant manager Odeely displayed behavior that I think is out of the norms and I feel it damages the reputation and the good mission of Goodwill. Goodwill has a great mission which they fulfill. Odeely stated no returns without a receipt is the rule. She went out of her way to look up my 5/3/2019 receipt. She falsely stayed those items were not on the receipt she was viewing. I understand rules. She went out of her way to look up a receipt but lied about not seeing those items which I find disrespectful. I told her to just take the items as a donation which she did. I asked Robert if I could just get a gift card. I told him how I always shop there. He said no. I told him Ill search through the garbage. He said fine. He walked outside with me and viewed me searching the trash. I soon found it in the car. It was on my seat. I asked Odeely what her name is because it is on her pants and was hard to find. Odeely, whom I am probably misspelling because I left so quick with my son, found my inquiry offensive and went to get Robert to escort me, my girlfriend and our son out Goodwill is better than this. Society has allowed people to be open about who they are, regard less if it being offensive. Goodwill has a mission of good. I shop there often. I donate to them often. I do not feel Robert and Odeely display behavior consistent with the mission. read more

They have totally gone downhill in my opinion. While the store is fairly clean and easy to shop their prices are ridiculous. The final straw was today. I saw a FAKE Coach purse for sale in the locked case, beat up, dirty, torn for $25.00. No Thanks. I can absolutely spend my money elsewhere. They got rid of the carts so if you aren't there first thing nothing good is there and now they are getting rid of the books & jewelry and focusing on target clearance items that if I wanted I would have bought at Target. Love this Goodwill! Clean, well lit, well stocked and organized. This is my favorite Goodwil in the Milwaukee area. Worth the drive north.

One of the best goodwills I've ever been to. Really nice homewares. Target also donates a lot of new items to this goodwill.

I seriously shop here about three times a week, and I usually leave with at least 1 great find. My entire apartment is pretty much decorated entirely with treasures from Goodwill. I'm an avid thrifter and Goodwill is my go-to place. The store is clean, doesn't smell like your typical resale shop, and the quality of donated items is usually pretty decent. The parking lot is terrible and I have had more dings in my car there than anywhere. I agree that this is not really a charity organization but a business that makes a lot of money and pays the upper staff ( not the retail workers) a lot of money that goes into their Mcmansions off your donations. I try not to give much but to other groups that really are doing something to help. My last visit I was asked did I want to round up a dollar to support their mission. Your kidding right? I give you my stuff for free and you want me to round up. When have you really seen any Goodwill missions done? Really your kidding right? Exect need a raise? Gotta say they got balls. A staff member got pissed when a guy was looking for jewelry that had gold in it, well if ya dont know what you have you cant get pissed at someone looking for good stuff.. that's the point. That's why we rummage and go to estate sales, duhh. I would rather put my stuff at the curb than give it to Goodwill. Once a year for the tax thing, that's it. Lets be real. This is a charity for the executives to pay their mortgage in River Hills. One persons junk is anothers cha ching. read more
