Small for goodwill store but it's neat and orderly. They do need to update their carts though. Wheels bump, lot of cart handles are broken so the edges are a little sharp. Parking was smooth! Looks like they recently paved the lot so that's a plus. read more

Lots of canvases which is what I was hunting for. All of the clothes and most every besides glassware and furniture were not organized at all. Trying to look through the clothes in my size (I'm plus sized) was basically like looking through the larges and not the 1x/2x sections. read more

Hate to have to give my review a 2 star but I was really disappointed in this store. It was so sad looking with a lot of bare shelves. Now I know its probably not their fault if they're not getting donations but man it looks like its been awhile since they have. They do stock some brand new products through out the store. Mostly animal stuff, cleaning products, their own reusable shopping bags & some new shoes. I picked up two paperback books that were in pretty good condition & really cheap. Only $1.00 per book. Now that's what I'm talking about! They had some cute doggie nick nacks that were brand new but I felt like the prices they were asking were just a little too much for a Goodwill store. Now there is NO need to be charging customers $10 for a digital thermometer you can buy @ the Dollar Store for a $1.00 or get it @ Walmart for much cheaper. They are selling a 8.50oz bottles of hand sanitizer for $6.00 and a packet of 50 Hand sanitizing wipes for $7.00. I couldn't believe my eyes on these ridiculous prices & had to take photo's and post on their Yelp page. I went into this store hoping to find some Pyrex dishes & a sweatshirt & didn't find either. I wasn't in here for very long as there wasn't much to look @. They did seem to have a lot of racks full of used clothes. They hardly had any purses or bags. Don't let my 2 star review prohibit you from coming here. I could have just been @ a bad time when their stock was very low. If you find something you like but don't care for the price then don't by it. Everything is worth @ least one try. I had two rooms full of very nice furniture that was not in bad condition at all. Seven piece bedroom king size. a beautiful dining room set with a marble top with eight settings and three countertop barstools that were stainless steel bottoms they were supposed to come and get them as my new furniture was coming into the house. A half an hour before they were supposed to come remove all the furniture they canceled on me leaving me in a really bad spot. Not only did they lose out on some really nice items but they showed that they don't really care about people. If they really cared they wouldn't have pulled that stunt. I don't care what your issue is, you don't leave somebody high and dry a half an hour before you're supposed to be there. They're such cowards they couldn't even call. They had to send an email which is sad and pathetic. I would never ever do any business with this place ever again. read more

Yes, my previous reviews weren't too great. Hesitant but hopeful I stopped in earlier today. Perhaps due to it being the end of the month? the store wasn't stocked like it has been past visits. Let me add however that they do keep it clean and nest. Do I need to add that COVID policies differ from state to state and here masks are not worn by most. I'm very aware that I look like an out of place germaphobe to other be shoppers .. but whatever I managed to pick up some nice items at either $1.00 or at half price. I did find a couple more things that piqued my interest & " splurged" with them at full price.. $6.00 & $4.00...haha Its always a hit or miss kind of thing. And even though price definitely matters, if you can't use the item is it really a bargain? Up to you... One mans junk is another one's treasure & so on .... The ONLY negative today was that the same as just about everywhere else they do not have enough help! There was 1 cashier and as I could see the ONLY person on the entire work floor. They can't open the dressing rooms or bathrooms because there is no one to help maintain them And obviously the line was very loooooong. This is the worst GoodWill to bring donations to. They advertise that their donation center closes at 5PM. More than 3 times I have made it to this store by 4:30-4:45, after work, and the donation center is already closed - they do not stay open for as long as they advertise. On two separate occasions I have tried to drop off donations and the donation center was closed in the middle of the day for no reason. Staff has no good answers for why it's closed when I have gone in to ask. I will be taking donations elsewhere, as no one is ever around at this store to accept them. read more

This store is like an ex boyfriend that you keep going back to , but deep down know it will never get better and they are still $hit. In the past year they have not put anything good out . It's all paintings from home goods and nick knacks from dollar tree . I feel like I literally waste gas pulling into the parking lot . I always hope I might find just 1 thing that's decent, but it never happens . I wouldn't be surprised if the managers are stealing all the good stuff , it's not like it hasn't happened before . If you want worndown smelly heels from Dressbarn that were made 10 years ago this is you're spot. read more

Whenever I'm getting' my "thrift" (or "Make Due and Mend") on, this is the GoodWill I have the most luck at. *Huge selection of Women's clothing (usually a wedding dress or two); all organized by size (thank GOD). Last weekend they had TONS of winter jackets. *Great "houseware" section. When I had to re-populate my home after a break-up, I came here and found fine china (for 2$/piece), All Clad and Pyrex mixing bowls (for 2$/piece), cups, vases, picture frames, etc. *Three clean fitting room areas *Kind staff When I was shopping for a holiday dress last weekend, I noticed that they have some wreaths, decorations, and stockings, too. The prices are always great - but you have to be willing to do the hunting!!! Still, the Portsmouth GoodWill always seems to have a little luck to pass on to me. read more

Let me state first what I liked about the store. First, the store is pretty well laid out and a decent selection of items. On a number of occasions I have gotten some pretty good deals on items, especially clothes or home decorative items. However, when it comes to the pricing of books, I find the price of books to be a little high compared to even some of the other Goodwills in the sate. read more

This was once a good place to find used items. They have increased prices 40% or so, and its generally no longer a bargain. When things are discounted by tag color, its the worst of what's in the store. Instead, try Salvation Army a couple of miles away, or Savers in the Fox Run Mall. read more

I go to A LOT of thrift stores all over the country and this is a fantastic one. Huge shoe selection and everything is very well organized by clothing type and size. Very spacious and clean and very reasonable prices. Small book section and not too much jewelry but excellent clothing selection and organization. read more

I found about 10 ripped jackets each were about 20-30 dollars. I then found some dead stock chinese products clothes and materials mass produced and sold at wal-mart or target or even marshals or tjmaxx..the brand new products that would be found for clearance at 3-10 dollars were marked up to about 15-20 dollars at the goodwill. these people are scum . do not support this business that does nothing for the community. read more

I came to the goodwill to buy a business suit due to a job change. I was pleasantly surprised that I found one in my size that fit perfectly. The price for the pants and blazer combo was $10.007, plus it was half off. Tons of stuff to choose from new and used. The site didn't have that mildew smell like at the Salvation army store down the street's this place is worth checking out. read more
