The Meatballs, Beef Carpaccio, Ceviche and Seared Tuna were all hits. Highly recommend sharing these. The Mains: * Ribeye: The highlight. That smoky charcoal flavor was spot on. * Lobster Risotto & Prawns: A bit of a mixed bag. The prawns were a tad too salty and the risotto lacked a bit of depth, though it was still a decent dish. Good friends brought us here for one of our several in-town dinners last December. We had an early reservation time so parking was a breeze on this evening. When we left the restaurant, the valet parking station was quite busy. The interior is spacious and has tall ceilings, lending a feeling of a grander space. On this particular evening, my quick observation let me believe this was a restaurant with lots of celebrations(i.e. birthdays). I ordered their Signature Steak Frites(Prime Ribeye at 14 ounces). This place is very similar to the Medium Rare restaurant concept, but acts as the more sophisticated older sister--they have better fries but Medium rare has the delicious bread and salad. The steak was delicious but didn't knock me out the park. I heard the ribeye was about the same. The garlic bread is a must! Omg! Skip the corn, sounded tasty in theory but the execution was "off"--it was pretty flavorless and watery. The kale SALAD was to die for omg!! Do you hear me?! I don't even like kale like that. The honey and fig cocktail tasted like a slurpee with about 10 extra packets of sugar. When have I ever gotten rid of a stiff cocktail? I came here for a friend's birthday. Our server went out of his way to make it great by offering to put the cake in the fridge until we were ready, putting sparklers on the cake, and then taking photos of our group. We all loved our food. The vodka pasta I ordered was very flavorful & creamy, and our service was great. I would like to state that this review does not reflect or represent every experience we have had here. We have visited several times before and the last time being for my birthday back in April and we had an excellent time. Today for our 6 year anniversary we decided to do our tried and true. Steakyard, from the amazing and always excellent food to the phenomenal service (Felix is a absolute pillar of what exceptional service is) unfortunately today we did not receive that same service. Our server Sebastian greeted table promptly and provided drinks and apps fine, when appetizers hit the table we order entrees. Finished our cocktails and watched him pass by our table 5-9 times before a second round was offered. We received our entrees. Still no cocktail and did not get the second half of one dish until after cocktails arrived... We closed out and decided this was no longer the type of experience we wanted for our 6th year anniversary celebration and on our way out I happen to stop a gentleman that looked like the general manager, he in fact was and once I stated how our experience was, his response was "Sebastian was a new hire who had only been there for two weeks." Understandably I said thank you and left. My frustrations are no longer with Sebastian but management who let this individual fail and never once stepped foot in his section to assit. Sebastian, you deserved a better support system from your management team especially on a Friday night. I am only leaving this review to highlight where I believe Sebastian could of been better supported and where management fell extremely short. This is a great example where a phenomenal spot with amazing food can fall short of with service and needs fine tuning for service. I can go anywhere for good food. Such great service and a wonderful, serene atmosphere! I ordered the picanha that came with the shoestring fries and my husband ordered tenderloin with the broccoli o & squash with a side of the Asian kale salad. My picanha, though ordered medium seemed a bit overdone but it was a very lean piece of steak. Overall it was still very tasty! My husbands steak was ordered medium rare which was more of a medium so I should have gone that route. His sides were great, the kale salad was light and a great compliment to the hearty steak. I'm not a squash person so I didn't try that but did steal some yummie pieces of broccolini! Overall experience is closer to 3.5 stars. The restaurant interior is large, with tall ceilings and is definitely airy. Our group of 7 were seated at a large table somewhat near the main entrance. It was so large that we moved closer together as this table really could easily fit 11 adults. I had to order their highlighted item, which is their Signature Steak Frites, more specifically I had their Prime Ribeye(14 oz.) which is aged 60 days. It was a nice piece of beef, and the fries were really good. Overall, the Ribeye was about 3.5 stars. Our waiter was professional and courteous. In town on business and I was highly recommended to come to Steakyard. Upon arriving you get an immediate sniff of the sweet Smokey smell of open fire... a true steakhouse staple. I was greeted with a welcoming hello and I was immediately taken to my table. Decor was modern yet cozy, linen on tables and semi comfortable chairs (I'm a curvy girl and I sometimes struggle but I made it work!) Bright and open spaces. There are a few large booths but those are for larger groups and I was dining solo. My server was kind and attentive. He gave me great suggestions and I went for the Charbroiled Oysters as a starter accompanied by a dirty Belvedere martini. Both were delish! Next I went with the Tenderloin Bistro steak and skinny fries. All of their steaks come with skinny fries. Steak could've been more charbroiled & unfortunately my fires were less than warm :( I was reluctant to say anything because I did not want to receive another large portion of fries and let it all go to waste. I did however provide feedback and insisted not to get a replacement order of fries. But explained I only wanted to give the feedback so they are aware, in hopes that someone else doesn't complain. Tried this place out with my fiancé for the very first time. Upon arrival the restaurant is extremely beautifully designed blending modern and old with great ambience music in the background. Our waiter was also very kind and attentive and service was very good. However unfortunately although the place is beautiful and the service was great the food was not amazing. We got the tenderloin steak, Cesar salad, and Penne chicken vodka pasta. Although the presentation was beautiful the steak was cooked a bit too raw for me and the penne pasta chicken flavor was very average. The Cesar salad sauce was also not amazing. We probably would not be back due to the food quality however I cannot recommend enough the amazing level of service and how beautiful this restaurant truly is inside. read more

Overall, the space is very beautiful. The service was decent. The food just didn't really live up to anything special, the tenderloin steak frites were under cooked and the fries that came along with it were well seasoned but cold. We went to the Steakyard as a group of 12 for a bachelor party. They had the table ready exactly when we got there and didn't say anything about us being a few minutes late. We had an oversized vehicle that we parked in the back. They do have valet but it's a large enough, easy lot. Ironically we had BBQ for lunch but several people got the steaks and really enjoyed them. Mushrooms are $6 extra, very clearly labeled on the menu. The amount is typical steak mushroom amount. There's not a ton of options. One person got 3 sides, which was the price of 1 entree and about the same size. I got the lobster risotto and prawns. It was very good. The menu does say reduction, so it's not actual lobster. It did taste like lobster. The prawns were also very tasty. Everyone really liked the espresso martini. They make a shape stamped on the top. You can even use an image of your choosing! They did pour us some champagne. There was also a nut allergy so they put a sparkler in an empty glass and did ice cream on the side. read more

We came here for the Sunday dinner and everything was so good! Got a reservation for 5 o'clock and we were seated promptly. Anytime in order things and food were brought out pretty quickly. Rodrigo our server made our experience so amazing. He was able to recommend a few options and also substitute a few things our drinks. We ordered a bunch of drinks and my favorites were the frozen piña colada and a regular lemon drop. I would not recommend the drink called the last word as it wasn't good at all. It's made with gin and chartreuse so beware lol. The Kobe meatballs and the oysters were the star of the show. I would pass on the Caesar salad next time. We all ordered the ribeye steak and frites and that was a great option. They were able to cook it at different temperatures that we requested. Although our fries were cold, when it reached our table, we did request for batch. They provide it with no questions asked. Once we got the new batch it was perfect. Saw that it served with was top-tier. Perfectly seasoned. The corn Brulé and the mac & cheese were solid sides but lack a bit of salt. From the atmosphere, the service and the food I cannot wait to come back. This was the second worst meal that I have had in a restaurant. I have traveled for work for over 20 years and this is one step better than Cotton Patch in Nacogdoches, Texas. I am not a foodie. The shrimp cocktail was over cooked. The steak came out medium rare. The next steak came out well done. All I can think of is hospital food. Yes the manager was notified of the first steak being undercooked. When I showed the server the second steak that was well done he said it was medium well. The second steak was about as thick as a cardboard box from Amazon. I actually think an Amazon box would have had more taste. Here's a tip. When you drive up to a restaurant and there's one valet it's a red flag. I know now why there were so many empty tables. read more

The restaurant has a large and very open dining area so i imagine it can be pretty noisy if every single table is filled, but i thought there was a decent amount of space between tables. We family styled everything and got the three different cuts of steak, vodka pasta, charbroiled oysters, and the broccoli and squash for health :) Everything that we had was really tasty! This is a very good steak steakhouse near our house. We decided to try it because of the ratings on Yelp. It is definitely starting to draw more of a crowd, so I would suggest a reservation. We were greeted quickly and seated at a table in their main dining room. Our waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. They have a great cocktail list, and the food menu is reasonably sized but not huge. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. Stealyard is a great place for a simple date night or dinner! Their menu is very straightforward, mostly known for the steak frittes and peppercorn sauce. The dinner started off a bit rough with service cause there was a mix up apparently. It took about 10 minutes before someone noticed we weren't attended too but they promptly fixed it and were attentive for the rest of our dinner. The tenderloin bistro came out dry looking but it was still very juicy and cooked to a nice medium rare. The prime coulotte was much better looking but they cooked it to a medium unfortunately. Fries were very yummy and plentiful. That peppercorn sauce is a MUST to make the dish. Without, the steak is bland. We were comped for the chimichurri and garlic aioli which was very kind of them. I really liked the aioli with the fries and the chimichurri had a nice kick of spice to it. I never get mac n cheese anywhere but we decided to splurge a bit and it was soooo good. I highly recommend getting this as one of your sides to share! The drinks we had were great too! I really liked the taste of the martini and the margarita was very very frozen. The fries were disappointing. They're thin cut but felt like a beer battered fry. There was some kind of coating on them. One person ordered the pork chop. It was a GIANT portion. Almost shareable. My husband enjoyed it. The table shared pecan pie and a coconut chess pie. Both delicious! We were also surprised with a chocolate mousse pie for a birthday. It's presented with a sparkler. The chargrilled oysters were good. As someone who has had a lot chargrilled oysters, I'd prefer them to have a bit more flavor whether it's more salt, garlic, parmesan, butter or all three. The steak cut was good, a well marbled ribeye. It was cooked to the perfect temperature for me. The steak could also use a little more flavor as well. To start, they gave us a free glass of Prosecco for our anniversary. For our appetizer we got the meatballs which were amazing. 10/10 Our entrees, we each got a different steak cut, but both were very good and cooked to perfection.
