The beans didn't have much flavor but when I added the chipotle sauce, it spruced them up a little. The service and music was good! Not much decor inside but it was clean and the food was good. I love tribal so much and all their food is sooo tasty! They just moved locations and I am so sad about menu changes! My favorite item on the menu was the love you lox toast and they completely changed it. One of my favorite places to eat and work in the Bishop Arts district. I've sat and worked for several hours (during a busy time) and never felt rushed or asked to move for other customers. I also appreciate that they don't play the music too loudly. The cafe is small, but they have tables both indoors and outdoors. The menu may seem trendy, but the presentation and flavor is spot on! Such a cute cafe in Bishop Arts! Only about four tables plus bar seating inside (relatively small), but there is also seating outside. The love you lox toast was AMAZING and very filling with a hefty portion of lox! The rosemary vanilla latte was also delicious and did not disappoint. Service was good for how busy it got. I had brunch at Tribal All Day Cafe with my mom and brother this past weekend, and I enjoyed the meal! It's a mostly vegetarian/vegan spot (although a few dishes include lox and some dairy) that serves breakfast all day, fresh juices, coffees, and cocktails. I had their migas (jasmine rice, black beans, soft scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, avocado, house vegan cashew cream cheese, grainless Siete tortilla chips), which was a healthy take on a dish I order often. The rice made it more of a breakfast bowl than migas, but I enjoyed the dish overall - it felt healthy but was still delicious. I'm a former, very failed vegan, but I still love cashew cheese - and Tribal All Day Cafe's vegan cashew cream cheese blended really well with everything on my migas plate. My mom (who is vegan) had their JCCC toast (house vegan jalapeno cashew cream cheese, cucumber, arugula, and local extra virgin olive oil), which she enjoyed. My brother had the smoked salmon club wrap (lox, avocado, greens, cucumbers, tomato, capers, pickled onions, and herb tahini), which he didn't love, but Tribal All Day Cafe isn't really in his wheelhouse. (Tribal All Day Cafe has something for most people, except for people who just don't love a vegetarian, healthy breakfast - and my brother just isn't into their menu - but he was a sport and the wrap was fine for him.) My mom and I also had a couple of coffees. We're a little basic with our coffees and got americanos, but they have a large coffee menu that includes some creative coffee drinks (one drink had espresso with citrus juices and turmeric; another was a latte with rosemary and vanilla) and non-coffee drinks (a golden latte, a beet latte, matcha, a lavender London fog, and more). Our americanos were exactly what we wanted and very good. The cafe is charming. Inside, it has a few low top tables, a few high top tables, and some bar seating for smaller groups or solo eaters). They have at least as much or more seating outside, but since it was quite chilly on the morning we visited, outside was empty and inside was pretty full throughout our meal. The service was very good, and I enjoyed a healthy breakfast over my quick trip home to visit family. Overall, a place I'd be happy to return to when I want a clean, healthy meal! read more

Stopped by this café while it was nice out. They have pretty good service and everyone was kind. The ambience is really nice as well. It's a bit small, but I was able to find seating both inside and outside. However, I wasn't too ecstatic about the love you lox because it just didn't taste as fresh as I'd like. The pickled red onions felt like they had been soaking for too long and lost their color/flavor. I did enjoy the pony juice that I purchase. I visited today after a friend highly recommended this place as somewhere great to eat and get work done. I came in planning to order food and a golden turmeric latte and spend some time working. When I walked in, there was a messy looking podium which turned out to be an unmanned hostess stand, but there were no signs or instructions indicating whether I should wait to be seated or order at the counter. I started walking toward the counter when a tall woman quickly stomped her way to block my entrance and demanded to know what I wanted. Then asked if I was dining in or ordering to go. The way she rushed over and her tone made me feel as though I had done something wrong just by walking in. The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and confrontational. I was so taken aback that I just ordered a golden latte to go. I felt embarrassed by how the situation was handled, especially in front of other customers. Any excitement I had about trying their food disappeared after that moment. And I was not allowed past the podium. I was basically by the door while I waited. Unfortunately, the interaction didn't improve from there. The barista handed me my drink while keeping noticeable distance, which added to the uncomfortable feeling as if I wasn't meant to move past the entrance area. As someone new to the neighborhood, the overall experience felt very unwelcoming. I even tried to lighten the situation by mentioning that a friend had recommended the place and that I was new to the area, but I was cut off mid-sentence. The drink itself was also disappointing. Compared to golden lattes I've had elsewhere, this one was very grainy and lacked flavor. It tasted more like hot water with sediment than a well-balanced turmeric drink. Given this experience, I don't plan to return. For a small café that wasn't busy at the time, the presence of a hostess-style setup without a hostess there felt unnecessary, and the customer service did not match the welcoming atmosphere I was hoping for. This is not a high end place and I was wearing a bouse, black pants, and dress shoes. So I'm not sure what that was. read more

Great matcha latte with lavender syrup...at $6.25 ($5.75 base, $0.50 for lavender) for a 12 oz/ small drink, i finally realized i need to stick to this size in Dallas. If I remember correctly, they use oat milk for their lattes so switching to oat was easy. Don't know if they offer regular milk. Good extra avo toast with feta, a bit overpriced as with all avo toast but bread is good, and the server was very friendly. I ate alone at the bar and didn't feel weird at all. I really appreciated that my server let me try a couple of the juices since it was my first time and I was having a hard time deciding. I also tried the Pony Ride and it was pretty tasty too. My vegan friend suggested we check this place out, so we decided to give it a try. The place is pretty small, but it is so cute. When the weather is nice, sitting outside makes the experience even better. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Love You Lox toast, the macadamia ricotta toast, and an iced chai latte. The lox toast was absolutely delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect from the macadamia ricotta toast since I had never tried macadamia ricotta before, but it was surprisingly good. Creamy, flavorful, and really satisfying. The iced chai latte tied everything together and was the perfect drink to go with both dishes. I also really appreciate that they seem to source their ingredients locally. I love supporting businesses that make that kind of effort. The only downside was that a few items were unavailable when we visited, including some juices and dishes my friend and I had been hoping to try. It might have just been an off day.
