Before I start I would like to say that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's begin!. We stopped in here because one of my family members wanted something to eat from here!. I didn't order anything so I can't tell you anything about the food. But I will say it's a restaurant conveniently located in the neighborhood. There are a couple of tables inside if you want to dine in. I left off one star because there was no air conditioning in this restaurant so it was uncomfortable inside. I am glad we just grabbed the order to go, that way we didn't have to endure much of the heat inside this restaurant!. I am not sure if I will return, I may order something to try the food out. I don't think there's a lot. I have to write about this place as it's been here forever and it's sad that in this day and age they still do not accept any kind of card payment or Apple Pay, etc.. The food is definitely rated more of a fast food, but still good the portions are great. Definitely always take out a better choice. Probably some of the worst Chinese takeout I've had in a while. We had some chicken lomein, which was passable but not something I'd order again. Also ordered some kind of shrimp in lobster sauce (?). They put way too much cornstarch in it, and the sauce didn't really have much flavor to it. It was just salty. It came with some soggy cabbage and soggy bean sprouts. Wonton soup was overly salty as well. Plenty of other Chinese takeout spots to order from and this ain't it. read more

Everything was pretty bad except for the fried yucca. They have no shame in calling you to tell you that all they have is pork fried rice. For cheap take out this place was great and I was able to get it delivered through Ubereats. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the large rice portion was a really good amount. My husband had the Lo me in and it was good he said it was flavorful and he's picky with Chinese takeout. Chicken sauces is solid and a great alternative to the traditional green sauce that is served with the traditional rotisserie style chicken. I hope I see them on Ubereats again soon. Looking forward to ordering again for a weekday take out. read more

Always great food, fresh, hot and spot on. Really crowded but worth it. Even the police stops by to pick their lunch.

The food here is just nice and good. The group working there is very polite and understanding.

One of the best Chinese in Paterson only had thing they don't do delivery's but other than that is number 1 in my books

I love getting take out from this place when I am a little hungover or just have a craving for their food lol Don't go expecting anything fancy from this spot as it's one of those places that Locals just know about because their Pollo a la Brasa is so flavorful and they have this magical sauce that is so ridiculously good! I always order it with the Pork Fried Rice and a side of Tostones. It's always packed even though the restaurant doesn't have any heat in the winter so definitely call to place your order ahead of time! Also don't be surprised by the lady behind the counter talking Spanish and taking orders by numbers! lol Last thing is that its cash only with an ATM inside just in case you don't have cash on you :) read more

The Dominicans at work are always excited to order lunch from a place called "Goody's", so I yelped it one day to see what it was. It turns out to be a Peruvian Chinese take out joint, famous for their pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken). I'm a big fan of Peruvian style rotisserie chicken, so I decide to pick it up one Sunday night. I called the order in before going to pick it up, two orders of pollo a la brasa with fried rice, yuca, and an order of chicken wings. The woman who picked up the phone was quick, but never gave me the price before hanging up on me. I arrive to an average looking Chinese take out spot with a fairly large crowd and few seats inside. It's hectic. Turns out the woman behind the counter speaks Spanish, and the customers are yelling numbers at her while she and the other 5 staff members make the food. This place is CASH ONLY. Once I get my food, I find the chicken to be very heavily seasoned, in a good way. But the white meat was a little bit dry. The yuca was soggy, and the fried rice was very plain, not like the chaufa I would normally get from other Peruvian Chinese spots. But it was much cheaper than my usual choice for Peruvian Chinese, by a good $3 per order. read more

Good local Chinese food with a Latino flare. Great tostones, people love the pollo a la brasa, everything is pretty solid and covers the basics of your next door Chinese spot. My only complaints have been the same for years they need to deliver and they need a better system for taking orders. When this place gets packed people get frustrated, front desk girls sometimes forget your order because they're swamped and suddenly your waiting 45 mins for food that should've been quick. If they tweaked these small things they'd be the top Chinese take out restaurant in Paterson in my opinion. read more

This is not a five star restaurant by any sense of the imagination but your taste buds may beg to differ when it comes to fried food. Make sure you share with your loved ones. The Secret Sauce is definitely the key to success. Yet there's no secret that there's garlic in there. Your family and friends will not appreciate you eating this dish doused in the sauce as much as your belly does. Be prepared to suffer from the overdose of garlic for hours. This used to be my favorite restaurant, tonight I'm not sure if they have a new cook but it was not as tasty. My shrimp fried rice had ONE shrimp. The best part was the magical sauce.... ugh whoever made it this time it was sooooo bad. So oily and too much vinegar. Please bring back whoever was cooking and making the sauce. The sign says "Best Chinese Food in Town" & it ain't lying! I've been eating from here for years and even though I have my qualms about "chinese" takeout, this is one of those places that make you forget all about that... at least for a little while. I LOVE this spot. Ive never had better chinese food. I highly recommend the pollo a la brass with the garlic sauce. omg that orange sauce is heaven. Wish I had that recipe. I order that sauce even if i have fried chicken. ((It doesn't come with it but for 25 cents you can get it)) So why give 4 stars?? Their nasty ass attitude! lol I understand that we are in the hood and you have to have thick skin with people over here. But damn not everyone wants to attack you. Phone curtesy is disgusting as well. Just don't go if youre having a bad day. Im not going to front. As an establishment you should be ashamed of your customer service! From working in the restaurant industry for 15 years from Chef to Director of Operations. I've worked in every area of a restaurant. I like your food that's why I come 15 minutes for it but when I'm standing in your restaurant and you greet the customer behind me while I've been patiently waiting for five minutes you should be out of business! The lady didn't let me finish with my questions before yelling "that's it" more than fifty times and then yelling out a number as if I was finished with my order, felt like the DMV here's a number. Have fabulous chicken!!!!!!!!!! Really nicely seasoned. The plantains on the other hand are dry and not salted. I'm Haitian and those were not up to par. I've ordered shrimp egg foo young from there and it is really good. I recommend you bring cash.... read more

Classic Chinese. I Never had a problem w their food and they make the Best pollo a la brasa.

Only bad thing is that it said it deliverers but it doesn't. Over all the food was good, fast, and well priced.

Pollo a la brasa is always on point. Place is tiny so your order is best to go. I usually get the rotisserie chicken and fried plantains with the garlic sauce(about 8 cups for us) amazing sauce. Sometimes ill get the fried yuca or boiled yuca with red onions. Price is cheap and food is great. They do have other dishes, but im hooked on pollo a la brasa.. read more

I loveeeeeeeeee this place. I always get Pollo A la Brasa & shrimp&pork fried rice. Great hood spot always busy! There was only ONE time that the rice sucked. Otherwise they are on point. Call ahead to order and when u get there make sure u keep telling them your number the place is usually a little crazy. All worth it tho. The only thing i DONT recommend is their homeade ice tea.
