Terrell/Carolyn Roach, special thanks to Goodyear for having great leadership to run this store in Colonial Heights. My mother had a situation with defected tires that still had plenty of tread and very low miles on time. Low and behold I never meet this manager by the name of Troy that runs this store but he called me back the very next day early in the morning so he could find out what I needed as a customer. I can honestly say after explaining everything he should nothing but hostility after hearing the situation. He kept his word in every sequence by getting in contact with Corporate or the Goodyear plant to advise the what occurred. He gave me and my mom reassurance that everything will be alright due to the defected tires situation. He called us back in a timely manner just like he said he would do. Everyone please take the time to support this store and show nothing but major love as you deal with the Store Manager by the name of Troy. He made my mother happy just in time for mother's day. As a Corporate office please take the time to represent your company managers Goodyear by doing something special for having such a great professional, manager that keeps his word and shows nothing but hospitality to bring Goodyear the numbers and quote they need to me for the year or quarter. Please show your people how your appreciate having such great leadership at your stores. Alot of customers take the time to complain, be negative and do what it takes to get people in trouble. No one has a heart to be honest and show how they appreciate the good someone does especially when it comes down to leadership. Some refuse to deal with customers like they are superior because they run the store. I can't say nothing bad about this store that Troy is in charge of, so please let's not take this message I wrote for granted and take heed to every word and let's do for Troy and continue to support this store customers and with telling others. read more

My husband and I were heading out of town for a long weekend when we stopped for gas in Colonial Heights. At the pump, we realized our back tire was almost completely flat! We drove to this Goodyear Auto Center to see if it could be repaired. Unfortunately, after removing 2 nails, it was determined that it couldn't be fixed. A new tire had to be brought to the shop from another source. We had our dog with us, and so spent the next 20 minutes or so walking around the area. We headed back to the shop and the manager was kind enough to let us bring the dog inside (so we could sit down). Soon the car was ready. Start to finish it was 90 minutes! We were so grateful to the staff, Lawanda Hill, Hunter Wemmering, and others. They were so professional and compassionate. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will go there for our future tire needs. read more

I bought tires from these guys (at a far better price than anyone else in the area) a couple years ago. Lucky for me, I just had a bit of an emergency situation with a blowout from hitting a curb just down the street and rushed to get my blown tire on the rim to these guys about 5 minutes before they closed. I really didn't want to leave my truck sitting on a jack overnight in the area but figured since they were about to close, that was gonna be the more-than-likely option. Fortunately they took it right back and had me a new tire mounted and balanced in about 15 minutes. Definitely going back when it's time to replace again. read more

Call to have radiator flushed and was told to bring it in to the shop the next morning, get a call stating nobody in shop to do this work! Wasted my time driving my vehicle to this place! Go to another shop that treats customer with respect. read more

Extremely overpriced. They will charge you over double the price for parts. Make sure to check around and research the cost of the parts being replaced. Other shops will also provide you with up to 2 year warranties on parts so do not fall for that. They will perform good work on your car, but you can find lower prices at any other shop. Expect to wait at least 1 hour after your appointment time for them to begin work on your car. read more

I am so impressed with the customer service at Good Year. I unfortunately had to get a new tire BUT both locations I have been at today have been nothing but AMAZING, from explaining what happened, letting me go back and showing me things on my car, being friendly, lowering the cost of the tire, bringing me water and just over all really showing they care about their customers, I wish more business were like this! read more

I took my car into this Goodyear location for wheel balance and alignment check , because of vibration at speeds above 45-50mph. I had just come from the Midlothian location, which told me I needed some repairs, and I wanted a second opinion. The technicians in the Colonial Heights store checked the alignment and it showed I did not need the repairs the other location had recommended, which was a relief. After getting my car home and taking a closer look, we realized this location had not removed necessary clamps when doing the alignment and had severely twisted both rubber boots over the inner tie rods. I called and spoke to the service manager, who acted like he had no idea what I was talking about, but said to bring my car in. I did so, and they untwisted the boots. None of the technicians were apologetic and, in fact, they were quite defensive and making excuses about the whole thing. Even though I was obviously upset about the whole experience, and the manager was there, he never came and spoke to me. After everything was supposedly fixed, I went home and, taking a closer look, realized one of the boots was indeed torn. I now have to replace that. They also managed to mar up the inner tie rod shaft pretty badly during the alignment too. If you need an alignment, pay a little more and go to a dealer or someone who knows what they are doing - NOT GOODYEAR! I will never go back to ANY Goodyear location again. read more

Huge ripoff. Tried to up sell me on everything saying it "needed" to be done. Tried to say I needed more expensive oil when I've been using the same oil for 7 years. Told me it was a 3 hour wait when I had an APPOINTMENT. Never going back. read more

I was in the middle of a 12 hour drive when I got a flat tire. I made it to good year and the people working there were extremely knowledgable, helpful, and patient. Barton helped me out and he couldn't have been more pleasant. I got a new tire put on in no time at all. read more

I would melt rubber bands together before I step foot in another Goodyear. They always want to find something wrong to make a dollar. Well you won't make another one off of me! The service manager is rude. And the people upfront seem scared to object. I used to work at the location and I won't go back there is not discount they could give to regain my business. I went for a state inspection a one year old car and the service manager lied and said he scraped the inspection sticker out, when he didn't and failed it for a fog light..I'm not objecting that the light wasn't out my point is that even before you pulled the car into the bay you would see the light was out. So instead of just saying already the car won't pass you have 20+ days to have the issue repaired he fails the car and then recommends a air filter..kill over! read more

I bought tires from these guys on July 1,2016, haven't had any problems with them at all. So, over the past week, I felt as though a tire was out of balance. Pulled out my receipt it said LIFETIME rotation and balance so I thought oh let's get them to take a look at it. This was a big mistake, after 2hours and 20 minutes of being there. I was approached by the gentleman who supposedly did the work. He had a piece of plastic with a black glob in it saying this is the reason your tire is out of balance. Mind you I just said I have had no problems from these tires. I said I don't think so unless you put it there. So he walked away, then there was a gentleman behind the counter his name was Victor, he backed up other dudes story. I called my husband cause he takes my car to Ford all the time for service. He verifies for me, yes dear we have had no problems from those tires. So I then put Victor on the phone with my husband after about 1 minute he says I don't care to speak to your husband anymore. I get back on phone my husband ask for manager so I get him. His name is Tim I hand him my phone. He talks to my husband and then hands the phone to me and says why am I up here??Was your tire repaired?? I was like I guess no one has told me anything except I had a big blob of black stuff in my tire which they said was fix a flat which we have never used. I also said your employee over there got an attitude because I told him we have never used fix a flat. So, now my husband is out of town supposedly now I have a whole in my tire that they fixed. Also, the manager says what's the problem again?? Kinda like you can leave!!!!I was like I don't have my keys because no one has told me my car is ready!!!!! Life lesson do not purchase anything from these people cause they love you when their selling the product but they don't want to back it up!! read more
