Jeff Bennett and his team are amazing! I have gone there for tires to state inspections! They always treat me with respect and in a timely manner. Recently, they helped me out of a terrible jam with my car battery. They came to my rescue and got me on the road very very quickly. I am a visitor to Huntington to see my Mom. The weather changed, and when I was ready to depart, my tire sensors showed me that my rear tires were 7 lbs low, and my front tires were 3 lbs low. I went in today for the stupid West Virginia annual vehicle inspection(West Virginia is one of only 17 out of 50 states that have annual vehicle inspections). Goodyear did a great job today. they tighten the oil drain plug with an impact tool so it is almost impossible for you to get it off yourself.

The worst experience I have had at an autobody shop or really most businesses, from the horrible customer service, to the quality of work to the work that they added onto my final bill without asking. Did you know a simple oil change can cost $250? They will up charge on everyone and everything abd charge you double of what it will cost at other places and then treat you terribly when you bring it to their attention. Thankfully Goodyear corporate took care of the situation and I was refunded my money with a written apology. The manager of the Goodyear on 4th should not be serving the public. He is absolutely one of the rudest and in front of my daughter and other customers. Just terrible all around. Don't do it! read more

My husband took my car here to have my brakes checked. The guy was a little "iffy" but had them checked. He did instruct them to not roll down the windows since they were just tinted-literally right before we pulled into Goodyear. After a wait, which nothing was wrong with my brakes, my windows are rolled down as coming out of garage-both front windows! When we mentioned this the guy, who was the same one we told to not roll them down, he said that we had never told them! I was standing right beside my husband when he did! No I'm sorry, no nothing!! Went for a mandatory checkup. Made an appointment the day before and arrived (albeit 5 minutes late) to my appointment. I was greeted somewhat grumpily and told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I reluctantly handed over the keys and walked to get a coffee nearby. Over 3 hours later they finally finished with my car. I'm thinking I'll look elsewhere next year for my checkup. read more

My wife dropped off her car for an oil change and the state inspetion and lifetime alignment and went to work. During her work day, the manager called and told her they recommend (mumble mumble). She wasn't sure what he was telling her, but as she was busy and she trusted them, she okayed the service. Later that day, she called me upset because they told her the total was nearly $300. I couldn't imagine how an oil change turned into almost $300. The explanation was, she had agreed to the "two stage fuel system service". He didn't know what to say when I challenged that, saying all they did was put in some Chevron fuel system cleaner. After a short pause, his response was that they also hooked the car up to a machine to circulate the cleaner. I pointed out the car was already hooked to a machine that would circulate the cleaner, which is the engine. We always use top tier gasoline, so the fuel system treatment was completely unnecessary. He was incensed when I suggested he had used, what I consider, shady tactics to upsell an unsuspecting person. In the end, I paid for the service, as my wife had technically approved it. I left a similar review on the Goodyear website, but it has never appeared. read more

I've been here 3 times. 1st trip for an oil change. It took close to 2 hours and there was only one other customer. 2nd trip for flat repair. They wanted me to leave my car all day. 3rd trip for an oil change. I arrived at 745 AM. They estimated it would be done by early afternoon. EVERY time it's the same excuse. "We got a few guys out this week, we are short handed" EVERY TIME!!! The place is managed poorly. Spend your money elsewhere - somewhere that respects the value of YOUR time. read more

Women! Do NOT go there!!! I went to Goodyear on 4th avenue for a flat tire. It was holding at 16 ponds and I knew I had a slow leak.Most likely fixable. The old gray haired man did not ask me any questions. He just went out,looked at my tire, came back in and said,"You have stuff spooing out of your radials.You need a new tire." I already checked that tire, but he did not know that. He said it would be 120 dollars for a new tire and 20 to install. I told him I would ride the bus first! So I drove to TIC TOC TIRE on 3rd avenue. They were awesome! They charged me 27 dollars because I needed a valve replacement. They were sooooo nice! Ladies, definitely take your car to TIC TOC..They do not take advanrtage of women! read more

I got good service here. First time I got two tires because I blew two out. Replacements where installed in a decent amount of time and got me on the road for my appointment even though I gave very little warning I was coming. Second time I got an alignment and extra warranty was offered on the service, which is to be expected. My car could use some replacement parts and they explained that but didn't insist on replacing the parts. Don't feel like I was oversold on things I didn't need except the warranty. You can't buy a toaster at Walmart with out being asked to purchase extra warranty any more so that was fair. Only reason I took away a star was I had to wait on my car and the WiFi was down. I would get my car worked on there again. read more
