By far the worst experience I've had at any tire shop. Went in to get a tire patched and they told me I would be in and out in 90 minutes. After 90 minutes they finally took my car back. After 20 minutes of watching the tech on my dash cam just continue to stuff his face instead of work. Meaning after almost 2 hours I was still gonna have to wait for them to do the actual work. I finally told them to give me my keys and left. I've taken cars there for years but I will never be going back there again. Clearly they have lost their work ethic. read more

They do decent work. But they are often so busy they customer service suffers severely. I had a checkup/oil change with state inspection. After the whole day they call me back saying its done. Well they forgot to do the state inspection. They tell me to being back in the morning and they would prioritize me since it was simple and they missed it. Following day I drop it off at opening (7am) and stick around an hour. I ask how much longer and am told it would be at least another hour. So I leave to get some work done. I hear nothing all day long. Call at 5pm. At close and they don't know what happened and why it took that long and no one called. Wastes two days and not even a simple "Sorry about that". Lots of new faces and they seem to be finding things to charge you for especially since their business has dropped due to new shop in town. Used to trust them but not anymore. Been dealing with them since they opened but me and my four vehicles will be looking for a new shop! Put $1700 in my daughter's car front end three months ago and today while getting state inspection they tell me the front sway bar bushings are shot and would not pass without. I bought new tires installed out of town by another tire shop due to a blowout. The tires were out of balance from the start but couldn't take it back because it was so far from home. I took the car to a local tire shop. They tried but also could not balance my tires correctly. I ended up taking my car to C Adam Toney. They balanced the tires properly. No more shaking while driving. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. I was in and out in about an hour and it only costed me $55. read more

C Adam Toney in Teays Valley is wonderful! I live nearby, so the convenience is a plus, and they're always fast and professional. I've visited this location nearing a dozen times and they've always been helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Also, I'm a young woman who goes in on my own for service on my vehicle. They could very easily take advantage of my ignorance regarding cars, but they've always been open and honest with me. I can't recommend them more. Tried to make an appointment and was told it's first come first serve. My vehicle sat 4 days without being touched and I was never contacted so I call and the lady tells me to just give them one more day and it will be done. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back the next day around closing time to be told that they didn't have time to touch because it would take to much time on the rack ( first come first serve) he then tells me he has no idea when they will get to it and that I should probably come get it. They will not stand by their products. I have documentation from a dealership's garage that the tires they sold me were causing the death wobble in my Jeep. I showed them the documentation on how the dealership came to that conclusion. The manager just smiled, looked at me like an idiot and said he didn't believe them and would not help me in any way. This was after I had paid extra for the useless insurance on the tires. I would avoid at all cost. read more

Took my car in for a rotation and balance not sure if they even rotated the tires and the old weights were still on the rims, so I 100% sure they did not even balance the tires. Called and ask about getting the work re-done and letting them make it right and the person on the other end said he was 100% sure the work was done because they have "video cameras in their garage" (???) that doesn't mean anything to me. The bottom line is that the car still has a vibration at highway speed and appears that the work was not done and I will not be returning to their establishment. read more

Have to give these guys a shout out. We were 400 miles into a 950 mile trip when we got a nail in our tire. After stopping by two other nearby tire places and being told they couldn't squeeze us in on a busy Saturday, we found ourselves at C Adam Toney. Even though their waiting room and parking lot were full, these were the words I heard: "we will help you out." They repaired the tire and had us on our way in about 30 minutes. Heading out on a camping trip when I had a blow out on the camper. Put on the spare and went to the local RV dealer. They recommended C Adam Tony tires. I needed to get to Charleston to meet the school bus, and I was running out of time. They had the tires in stock and said they could get to them quickly, but I had noticed that they were pretty busy, so I was a little concerned about the time. I was amazed at how fast they removed my old tires and installed the new ones. The people were super nice and really went out of their way to help me out. I don't think I was there a half of an hour! If you want poor service and dime store mechanics then this is your place! I had a horrible very loud noise coming from my front tire - they told me everything was fine. I specifically asked if it was safe to drive - oh yes they said. The next day my tire FELL off. I am thankful that I was on a side road and not the interstate. Faulty tie-rod and any half-qualified mechanic would have known that. I am wondering if they even looked at it. I will never go there again and I bought all replacement tires for both vehicles there.
