Spoke to some one on the phone (Bryan I believe his name was) asked for a quote for my jeep cherokee to get spark plugs done, he straight out told me "imma be honest with you I'm not gonna quote you because it's only me and one guy here and I don't want to as I'm busy" not good customer service skills will not be going to them at all after this experience. We were at Downstream Casino and had a flat tire. The facilities worker aired the tire and suggested we head to Joplin to get it repaired. We called to see how long of a wait and Nick told us they could get us right in; we were there for less than 30 minutes. And he didn't charge us! We were driving from Kansas City to Noel to camp and we wound up with two flat tires on our trailer. Tow truck took three hours to come get the trailer but it took Goodyear less than an hour to fix our tires and we were on our way. $200 to repair one tire and replace a second one. Parking and getting out with the trailer was easy. Employees were exceptional! read more

Excellent service and customer support! I hit a curb and ruined my tire while in Joplin on vacation. It was Sunday when most places are closed and 10 minutes before Goodyear closed. I was 1.5 hours away from home and needed to be back to pick up my daughter all this while my Husband is in another country. Somewhat panicked we called and they said to bring the car and no worries about the time that they wouldn't leave me stranded. They replaced the tire fast and way more affordable than other tire shops and they didn't act put out or upset even though I was leaving well after closing time. Amazing service, they literally saved me from a complete melt down in the middle of Joplin. read more

I dropped my car off on 3/18/20 for a diagnostic and while my vehicle was in Goodyear's possession, my catalytic converters was sawed/stolen off my vehicle. Goodyear has attempted to claim that the part was missing when the vehicle arrived at their location, however I have statements from the previous shop and tow service that the vehicle was fully intact when it left their possession. I had my vehicle at a local shop in neosho, mo and after they completed a repair, I wanted to have a diagnostic done, so I had a tow truck pick up my vehicle and take it to Goodyear in Joplin on 20th & Rangeline (all of this in the same day). The tow driver dropped the vehicle with Goodyear where they told him to unload the car, and handed the Goodyear employee the keys. Goodyear left the car unsecured in their parking lot for almost a week before pulling it into their shop to do the diagnostic, and during the diagnostic acknowledged that the catalytic converter has been removed at some point, but the way they described it, made it sound like "oh at some point someone removed the catalytic converter" leading me to think that a previous owner of the vehicle had them removed and ran direct pipes, so I thought nothing of it. They did not say "it looks like someone sawed your exhaust apart and stole a two foot section that is now missing". So when I picked up my vehicle it was still not running, I had it towed home. It's been cold so I had not tried to work on the car or start it for a few days, but yesterday I did and when it started you could hear the car from a mile away (no exhaust) so I looked under the car and sure enough a two foot section had been sawed out of the exhaust. So I called Goodyear and told them that I had filed a police report last night, and that I wanted to know if they had cameras, and also what they could do to help me resolve this issue. I was told that this had happened to a dealership vehicle that they had in their location recently also, but unfortunately there was nothing they could do to help. Frustrated, I called Goodyear corporate to see if they could help, as well as my insurance company. Goodyear corporate said they would contact the 20tg st location, and find out what the issue was, and if they would be able to help. While waiting to hear back from Goodyear corporate, my insurance contacted the 20th st location, and were told that the part was missing on the vehicle when they received it, and that they didn't have an insurance company to file a claim with, because they were self insured. My insurance company called me with this update and opened a claim. I contacted Goodyear corporate, and told them that now the 20th st location was saying the part was missing when the vehicle arrived at their location, and that the tow driver or the previous shop must've stole the part, so I ask corporate for their insurance claims department, and notified them that I had statements from the previous shop and the tow driver stating that the vehicle was intact with a full exhaust system in place when it left their possession, and that I wanted this to be resolved without having to get an attorney involved. The insurance claims department said they would contact the 20th st location and get them to open a claim, so they could investigate this issue, and that is where I am at to this date 04/07/2020. I will post further details as this all plays out, but be advised that your vehicle is likely unsafe to be left at this location, and that this location will attempt to avoid responsibility for damages that may occur to your vehicle at all cost. I have learned that the consumer affairs does hold repair shops liable for damages that may occur while they are in possession of the vehicle. So legally if I am able to fully prove that the vehicle was intact once they took possession, then they will be held liable for damages. It is just unfortunate that they choose to handle business in such a way, causing undue stress and frustration to their customers, but they've met their match today. read more

My only experience was I asked for a tire repair and they said it would be 3 and 1/2 hour before they would do it. It's a tire store.

Excellent service. Appointment is required. Good thing about this is you know how long to wait. Could even drop off your vehicle and come back later in the day. Employees were friendly and professional. Had a coupon that made the total about half the original price. Also received quotes for new tires. read more

Driving through from Cali going to c family in NY. One of my tires on my 2018 Colorado decided to blow this morning at 2:30 am during severe weather and I had to put the spare on . I went here to c if I could get the same Goodyear tire put on ASAP and as we all no this usually doesn't happen. I walked in and met Nicholas and told him I was in a hurry to get back on the road and that I had 3 dogs in the truck . I gave him the size and he didn't have one in his store but would have one in 15 min and he would mount it and I would b out in 30 min . I said is this half hr going to turn into an hr and he said no . The tire came and he send Alexander out to have me pull up to a stall . He had another gentleman with him and one put the new tire on and the other put back the spare under the truck . Not only was I out in 30 min but all these guys were sharp polite and new exactly what to do. It reminded me of how my employees and I take care of my clients back hm NY style. Top notch place clean efficient and friendly and they deserved a little tip for a few beers that I was glad to give . Thks again Sam read more

My family and I were in from out of town for a baseball tournament. Developed a very annoying rattle in our exhaust system on the way. It was 5:30pm on a Friday evening and about 100 degrees outside and we didn't even have an appointment. These guys could not have been nicer about getting us in, solving the problem and getting us on our way. Quick work at a very fair price. I asked that they fix ONE flat tire and it took close to 3 hours (nobody else was in line or before me... so they said). They assured me it would be about 15-20 minutes at most. I observed the staff at this time mostly standing around talking to each other apparently about something funny because I could hear them laughing loudly for a large portion of it. I also observed them sitting in my car for an unusually long period of time doing I don't know what but that in and of itself is highly suspicious to me because all I asked for explicitly was the tire fix. I am fortunate I left nothing of value in the car because, to be honest, the technicians I seen working there did not look trustworthy on any level. Frankly, they looked either like they were still in high school or just out of prison. Overpriced and worst service I ever experienced. read more

They replaced parts that were still good, costing me $$$. My car was shaking a little, I had my tires balanced about 2,000 miles ago at another Goodyear shop and was told I had one tie rod that was starting to go bad. This shop on 20th street said I had 3 bad tie rod ends, a bad ball joint and a control arm bushing that was going bad. They said it would be over $700. I had done some work on my car recently doubted that it could be so bad, but I had a 3 hr drive home. I told them just to do the 3 tie rod ends, because they insisted that they were bad. I had walked up the street to get lunch or I would have made them show me what was loose. I then called back and told them to save me the right side tie rod end because I did not think it was very old. When I got my car and looked at the part they had replaced, it was still tight, almost felt like a brand new one. I know that one did not need to be replaced, I am pretty sure the left outer did not need to be replaced. Go here if you have hundreds of $ to blow. read more
