After a tedious run around with Tire Warehouse (see review,) Goodyear Auto aligned my truck for the estimated cost of $89 (plus tax) with in an hour and a half of dropping it off. Everyone, from the women running the sales, to their mechanics in the garage, to the gentleman I spoke to on the phone the next day with a few questions, were nothing short of polite, authentic, and accommodating. Brought my Mercedes in for wheel alignment at 10:00 AM appointment. The lady at the counter are very helpful. They start on it immediately. I opted for the 3 years program, so I will be seeing them every 6 months. They also notice my safety check that was expiring this month, and ask if I wish to do it. I gave them the OK, and it was done at the same time. If you are a AAA member, they even offer a discount. Overall, the crews are all very professional and helpful. This is my new favorite place for an oil change. Their price is about the same as Midas, Maui Oil and other big places but the service is what sets them apart. Awful customer service. Was told it was walk in before 230 for an inspection and I asked was there a wait right now if I come? She said no but when I walked in 5 minutes later they said it's over a 2 hour wait. When I asked why they didn't just say that when I asked instead of lying they said I didn't say it was going to be a fast process. Well you also said there was currently no wait 5 minutes ago. I had a flat tire on a big Dodge and it was unrepairable. Bummer, but once I got to the Goodyear store they helped make everything OK. I got a new set of tires and an awesome warranty. Took my car in to check the wheel alignment cause I bumped a curb. I already knew my tie rods needed to be replaced and was happy to find out that the tie rods were the only issue. After receiving the estimate I think I could have went somewhere for a few bucks cheaper but their customer service was great. I look forward to using them as my go to service for my car. read more

I went in twice to have a tire repaired and while the women working at the desk were nice, I couldn't get a straight answer on how long it would take, which made it difficult to plan my day. This was a bit frustrating so I'm going to try somewhere else. I'm encouraged by their other positive reviews on here, maybe it was just an off day. read more

WORSE SERVICE EVER!!! I made the appointment while on Oahu because I knew I'd be on the island for vacation the next week. Called the morning of my scheduled appointment at 8 am to confirm my 11:00 appointment. Drove out from Lahaina to Kahului for my vehicle service.. Showed up 30 minutes early to check in. So- first the girl who was working the desk could not find my 3 year alignment plan and was going to charge me for a new one!! It's a good thing I save ALL my vehicle service receipts! I was not about to pay $220.00 for something that should be FREE. Ugh. After looking over receipts she corrects the estimate. $40 for my oil change, tire rotation and alignment. I leave my keys and walk over to get lunch.. An hour later as I'm walking to Ross Dress for Less I notice that my truck is outside. I'm thinking "Wow, done." I head over to Good Year as I get closer I notice the it is the same exact stall that I parked in!! What the heck! I walked through the front door and I see 3 employees at the counter, not one of them is doing anything. Just talking to each other about the new Domino Pizza that opened near by... ? After sitting for 15 minutes I asked the lady there "When is my truck going to be serviced?" She looks over at me and says- "Oh, didn't you know, we're short handed today. Everyone called out sick." Then she say wait and walks out the the garage area... She comes back to the waiting area.. She tells me "Well, you're up next.. There was a car before yours but, um, she has an appointment scheduled after yours. She only has oil change. But because your appointment is first and you're here waiting I moved yours up." What the heck! Yes, please move mine up!!! My appointment is FIRST. Regardless of what needs to be done. My appointment is before hers. Ugh. Waited another 15 minutes and still my truck never move. I finally left without having my truck serviced because I'M VISITING AND I'M ON VACATION!! To add insult to injury- as I'm walking out, the lady tells the girl. Give her a 50% discount for her next visit. Unbelievable. She tells me I can reschedule you for next week.. I DON'T LIVE ON THE ISLAND! LONG WAIT and Left without getting my truck service! read more

I had my car towed to Goodyear for what I thought was a tire problem. It turned out to be much more complicated than that; an engine issue that they aren't equipped to fix. So I set up a tow back to my house and called to pay my bill...no charge! I couldn't believe it. I'm not used to customer service like that these days. Thank you Goodyear! read more

I called on Thursday the girl tells me bring it tomorrow Friday so when I bring it in the next day the girl Ariel who is nice by the way tells me did it really don't know anything about it I couldn't tell her who took the call but she says okay it'll probably take all day but usually an appointment is a week in advance I left it there all day they finally called me at 3 p.m. and say that the Grint able to do it because I have suspension problems and I need to change all these parts before it can be aligned on the estimate they list of parts that has just been changed to me the estimate was written to justify not doing the work I can understand the mechanic not wanting to do it as it wasn't really schedule a week in advance I can understand that but don't make up some bogus estimate to justify your actions read more

Slow service, came in for oil and safety last week since since safety and registration were expired. Got first part of safety done and the oil change. I was told to go to dmv and finish the registration, then come back for the sticker. Not an issue, dmv was fast and I thought I was almost done. Came back to Goodyear to pick up my safety sticker and get on with my day. It took over an hour for them to get to it and it's still not done. If I had know how long it would take to "pickup" the sticker I would have planned my day differently and not dragged my wife sick with me. read more

Girls at the front desk were very friendly. Got an alignment and lube done, and they were pau within an 1 1/2, and they said would be done within 2 hours. So that was awesome that i didnt have to wait longer, i hate having to wait longer. And they were able to get me in the next day from when i called. i would recommend them. read more

I usually take my car to Goodyear to be fixed, so when my car didn't start up I made an appointment and took it in. They did a minimal diagnostic, and said nothing is wrong with my car. So I drove it home. 4 days later I am at a gas station and my car wouldn't start. I called Goodyear and said my car won't start and you said there was nothing wrong with my car. My dad got it started. We drove home and I called Goodyear, they said that unfortunately we can't do anything to help you and that it has to not start a few more times and then not start at Goodyear before they can figure out what's wrong because it is an electrical problem. So I took it to my new mechanic in Wailuku, who figured it out right away...it was the starter! I will never go back to Goodyear. read more

I couldn't be more satisfied! I came home last night and saw my tires showing the threat. I booked an appointment online l and choose the tires i needed/wanted for today 9.30am. At 7am I received a call from Ariel (front store) who told me that they didn't have the tires in stock, but they did have different ones in the size I needed. They were more expensive but she gave me a 15% discount on them. I told her i had an appointment at 11.30 and had to be out by 11. I got in at 9.15, was immediately attended to by another front store employee. Ariel came around the corner and recognized who I was and made sure I get in and out as quickly as possible. I left at 10am. They are cheaper than Costco, have tires in stock and unlike Costco I didn't wait 5 hours (with appointment) for my car to be done. Balancing, alignment and rotation came for free with my new tires. Great service and instock that's hard to come by on the islands ! read more

I placed an online order for some new shoes for Pathfinder. $140 per tire was a screaming deal. I was later contacted by the Local office that those specific tires I ordered are no longer available. They did have a similar set. $10 more per tire. Still a good deal. They gal Andrea set up the appointment. I went in looked at a few other choices. I fell in love with the Wrangler Duratrac. How much? $230. So we sadly parted ways. A few moments later. I get a call from. Goodyear. Mr. O. The tires you've selected online is the wrong size!? I told the gal.. I used the online match and it prompted me for 16. Shes like nooo.. your rim is 17. We don't have your size available. Wtf!? She apologized and took care of it in the spot. Mr. O. I know you loved the Duratrac. I can apply the online price for that one for you. Sweet!! So I got $50 off per tire from the now $230 tires. Thats $180 per tire. Sweet! I also got a $40 rebate for the tires too. Would I recommend their services? YES. Will I be a return customer? YES. Great Customer service. I had many problems with my older car's air conditioning system. It was not easy to figure out, but the staff and management at Kahului Goodyear never gave up, and I always felt they were on my side. My car was fixed, and although it was expensive, I feel I got a good value for what work was necessary. I would recommend them to anyone. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating, the mechanics keep you informed and do great work, and the management is fantastic. ONLY COMPLIMENTS!! read more

Terrible people not nice. I bought tires a full set for both my cars over the last two years. Today i was across the road picking up paint. And when i came out my tire was flat. But hey i had free flat service and Goodyear was across the road. So i was happy until to i spoke to the gal up front. She said you have to wait till six and it was only 1 but what could i do. But then she said sorry bring it back tomorrow. Well i said how do i get home its flat. Then she said the goodyear in kihei was not busy go their. But I said its a half hr drive and its FLAT. Then she said can some one pick you up. You could see the nail in the top of the tire i could do it myself in five minutes if i had a plug tool and glue. I was amazed that she could not care less and what a bad attitude, One other guy came out and put air in the tire so i could perhaps chance it home on the HWY.
