Avoid at all costs! Installed new tires. 1.5 miles later tire goes flat. Upon return they claim I cracked my rim after leaving. I would think I would know if I hit a pothole or ran over a curb. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. I make an appointment over the phone to have my front brakes replaced the day before I'm taking the family on vacation before school starts back up. I replaced the rear brakes about 6 months ago so I know I only need to get the front brakes put on. I drop my vehicle off and get a callback hours later stating that I need to get front and rear brakes and calipers. I told them that I had made an appointment to get the front brakes put on and that's all I needed to get done. They refused and said that it was against the law for them to only put the front brakes on. I went back to goodyear(for the last time ever, I won't even buy goodyear tires ever again)and picked up my vehicle and took it to a different shop and they happily put the front brakes on and laughed when I told them what happened at goodyear. Congratulations you have lost a customer for life, and a all of vehicles I would have continued to bring there in the future. read more

I stopped by for an oil change and ended up getting new tires as well. Even though the shop was clearly busy, the manager made sure everyone was taken care of and kept us updated the whole time. I've read the previous reviews of Goodyear Auto Service and none were that current, so was hoping my experience wouldn't be to bad. I made my appointment on Wednesday and the earliest I could get in was Saturday morning. Got there 15 minutes before my appointment and told them the issue again. The guy who checked me in was nice and told me they would be able to fix the tire if it was in a certain area or the tire and if the issue was outside of the parameters they wouldn't be able to fix it. 45 minutes go by and my car hasn't moved. I asked one of the workers how much longer before my car gets worked on, so I would know if I need to Uber home. He said the no stalls were open but I was next. Fast forward hour they get packed with walk-ins and they get taken care of. One girl who had no appointment got taken care of right away. The guy next to us said I guess I should have wore right pants or short shorts. Seems like having an appointment is useless here. Finally after 2 hours my car was ready and they fixed my tire. 2 stars were for the fixing of the tire, but I take away 3 stars due to workers not showing much urgency with customers that had appointments. read more

Brought my car there to have cooper tires warranty validated because anther shop said the new tires were hopping. The counter man was a complete grouch. The mechanic did call me and was a grouch too. They said nothing wrong with the tires and charged me 100 $ to rebalance 2 tires. Soon as the car was on 98 it was still shaking. Waste of time never again. read more

We bought 2 sets of tires from this Goodyear store over the last few years and last week had a tire going flat. We came in at 3:30 on a Friday, well before closing. We were told immediately there was no way they would fix it today and said we needed an appointment, first available was 3 days later. We have never been anywhere that sells tires that made you wait 3 days for a flat repair. There seemed to be no interest in helping us even though there appeared to be plenty of servicemen working nor did they care that we bought the tires at their store as local customers. We took the car to Walmart auto center who repaired the tire quickly. We will not be going back to Goodyear for any future tire purchases or service. I recommend you do the same. read more

I had a large piece of metal in my tire. I went to drop my car off on Memorial Day, assuming they were closed and I would call them on Tuesday. Sadly for the staff they were open. They fixed the flat and checked out my car in record time. The manager Eddie could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I have used this Goodyear store several times. Every time I am in there, the people working there always seem pissed off to be at work and act like the customers are annoying them by being there to have work done to their vehicles. The quality of work is hit or miss. I have had tires installed and everything was perfect, and other times, I have left with new tires that are out of balance and an alignment that has the steering wheel 45 degrees off center. Overall, I would say that their attitudes deserve zero stars and their work quality is about 2 stars. read more

My day did not start off to good! Had a meeting far from my current location and my tire pressure was extremely low when I started driving. I pulled into other tire places along the way, knowing I didn't have the time to change a tire prior to my meeting. (oh, and by the way, it was pouring down rain!) Absolutely ecstatic about this place!!! Had a car issue and another auto shop near us give us a phone quote. When we took the vehicle in to their store the quote jumped to outrageous. So we drove a little further to the Goodyear store we used after Hurricane Michael. SMART! Danny (who is amazing) gave a very fair quote, detailed the work to be done and promised a short "down time". Best news? The final bill was $300 BELOW the estimate. Whatever you do, avoid this store like the plague. Talk about service This is the head of no service. I cleared my afternoon for a simple oil change. Making my appointment in advance. When I showed up I was told they were booked up. No time for my car. I asked what good was a appointment if they were not going to honor it. His response was they are full the rest of the month, but if I wanted to leave my car MAYBE they could get to it in about four hours. Not having any transportation I left losing my time and gas. Was on my way from Louisiana to Mirimar Beach, and my tire exploded near Gulfport. I put on a spare and made it to Biloxi, where I spent the night. While there, I accessed the Goodyear website and was able to easily set up an appointment for the following morning in Miramar (the resort I'd be staying at was right around the corner from there), even able to choose the exact tire I wanted. The next day I rolled in right at 8am and they had everything ready to go. In less than 45 minutes they had changed the tire and I was on my way. The service was friendly and professional. I have been going to this good year for the last 7 years and will never go back!!!! First they failed to install my jeeps oil filter on correctly that it almost exploded and they had to send a tow truck for it. Now I went in for a routine oil change and when I received my vehicle back they ripped a hole in my windshield tint from their employee trying to remove the oil change sticker! I sent them photos showing where there technician clearly used a knife or putty knife to remove the sticker. All of my vehicles over the last 10 years have had windshield tint and never once was it damaged. The district manager called and attempted to side step my accusations and denied that his technician's did any damage. Its clear as day, they scratched around the tint and ripped it off. It's sad this company won't step up and do the right thing, when they were clearly at fault. Next time use your finger nail to remove the sticker! read more

I came in for a routine alignment and oil change for my Toyota 2021 RAV4 XLe today. Not only was there no one working at the front desk, I had set up an appointment for 1030 yesterday. And I had to wait for about 15 minutes at the front counter before someone came in didn't even introduce themselves couldn't tell me how long the wait was gonna be when there was three people in the waiting room. And said that there was only two other people working. he then came out after servicing my car and said that I did not need an alignment but just an oil change because my tires were worn and I would need to purchase new tires anyway so an alignment wouldn't really make sense. Then he comes back and says well I could align it for free and just see if that would help until you get new tires. And I asked him if he thought that would really help and if he honestly did then sure. when I go to check out my bill is $241! I have never paid that much for an alignment... And when I left my car alignment was worse than when I even got there. Much less the person telling me that I didn't even need an alignment! I'm very dissatisfied with the customer service and the dishonesty just trying to make money. I definitely would have bought my tires with them, if they were honest with me, but I'm honestly honestly really disappointed in the level of service and the deception.. definitely save your money, and go somewhere else where they have better customer service, and they are honest! Excellent customer service. Appts can be made. I recommend. Walk in starts at 7...first come first served. Brought car in, walk-in for nail in tire, at 1000 for two new from tires...walked out at 1255. Not bad for a busy place. Recommended new brakes and rotors while tires where off. Needed, probably... Also noticed license plate lights burned out. Nice place for waiting on car to be repaired. It a TV, chairs, magazines, coke machine. Hurricane Michael has made this place busy when they are usually not so busy this time of year. Overall, I would visit again. read more

I wished I had read the previous, "unrecommended" view before bringing my car here. That review ended with the following quote. PLEASE get informed. PLEASE do not use this store for your needs unless you're a person who knows something about cars because these people here will out right rip you off. I concur that this is not a place for an uneducated consumer, and indeed the bulk of people in the waiting room were middle aged women and elderly people. Everyone in the waiting area had seemed to be experiencing some exceptionally dire and unusual diagnosis (read; expensive) of their vehicle. I chose to spend MORE money and take my car elsewhere to have a flat tire repaired. They ripped the tire when they mounted it and when it went flat they blamed it on a faulty rim, and yet offered to mount yet another tire on the rim for a discounted price. No thanks. If the rim was faulty, it should have been diagnosed the first time around. I am sorry YELP has chosen not to "recommend" the prior review because it is negative. Its about 10am and I am driving through the pouring rain from Hurricane Ida with a massive screw in one of my tires. Will Good Year patch my tire? Oh no, I have to wait up to 6 hours and get in line. I understand if you have customers waiting for their cars, but was not the case. They have plenty of dropped off cars and the owners won't even pick them up until at least 4 or 5pm. I had a battery replaced and apparently they left my spare sitting out in the rain. When I lifted the panel to check the installation (the battery compartment is under the spare tire) the tire was soaking wet. If I hadn't noticed this my vehicle would have probably developed a nasty smell. When I brought it to their attention they said they didn't do this. No apology, just denial. Nope - simple Oil change - duramax diesel 2500 Chevy truck. Took 2 hrs. $240.68!! Twice what Chevy dealership would charge. Drove thru busy Hwy. 98 traffic from busy 30A - only to discover after the fact the dopes had reduced the tire pressure required for hauling my 5th wheel camper back to the in-town driving pressure! Why didn't they ask me why tire pressure was set so high? I was sitting there the whole time?! Now have to make a trip back to get this resolved and convince them not to charge me! Don't have my pump, & most service station pumps don't go that high. Grrrh! NOT a happy camper! Lesson Learned ... and I knew better than to take it anywhere else but GM dealer. read more

It was bumpy crossing highway 98 to get to Goodyear for an oil change but worth it. The young who helped get me in and out in less than 30 minutes was very kind and considerate. He wore a mask and cleaned his hands often and when he handled my keys it sales slip. He gave me the amount it would be before I signed the paper to get the work done. His name was Christopher.
