I've been coming here since we moved to the area in 2017 for my cars maintenances. This location has a great team that is professional and informative when it comes to concerns. Within the last two years, they were able to diagnose problems that nobody else could. Most of my appointment scheduling has gone through Bob, who is really helpful. Today I also got to deal with Eric during the payment process, and he was very kind. As far as the mechanics go, I've never had any issues with their work. They really try to handle your car with care and precaution. (Today Jon worked on my car and did a great job). And what I mean by that is they are... A)Are highly proficient in their work. And B) Keep your vehicle's interior as clean as possible as they do the work. I don't see myself ever going anywhere else for my oil changes. I had such a great experience at the Goodyear Tire Shop thanks to Judy! She was incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely helpful. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel like an old friend--not just another customer. There were a few people ahead of me when I arrived, but the team worked efficiently, and when it was my turn, my car was on the lift and had four new tires installed in what felt like minutes--seriously, maybe two!To top it off, the price was unbeatable--just over $450 for four new tires and installation. I scheduled my car for a wheel alignment on a Friday afternoon and that next morning I was in and out in an hour with a perfect alignment.

I had a flat tire in the Atlantic City area last week. The AAA dispatched tow company replaced my flat tire with the spare "donut". I was alone and reluctant to make the long journey home with the "donut" tire. The AAA driver recommended Goodyear Auto Service in Pleasantville. I called them and spoke to Erik Ryan, a customer advisor there. He was friendly and professional on the phone. When I arrived, Erik helped me right away. I was on my way with a repaired tire in under 45 minutes. While I waited, I had a coffee in the waiting area and a nice conversation with Erik. Erik explained that if my tire was repairable, they would use a patch, rather than a plug. He explained all the reasons why this was the optimal solution. Lucky for me, the cause of my flat was not a nail, as I had suspected, but a faulty tire pressure sensor in the air valve. They technician replaced the faulty TPS. I was soon on my way for home with a repaired tire and a reasonably priced repair bill. They also checked my other tires. While I was there, Erik even replaced the battery in my key fob, with a ew battery I had with me. read more

A few months before coming here I had the flex pipe replaced somewhere else, as it had a hole and was making lots of noise. After getting it replaced, the car was back to normal and was pretty quiet. After getting some minor maintenance done on my car at this Goodyear location, I left and immediately noticed that my car was making the same noise it was making before getting the flex pipe replaced months ago. I immediately drove back and spoke directly to the mechanic about it. He played dumb and pretended that he doesn't know what I'm talking about. To try to convince me of his innocence, he even offered to drive around the block with me and listen to the sounds the car was making. So we drove around the block, and he said it sounds like it did when you came in. So I walked out, and while thinking about what to do, I overhead the mechanic talking to a colleague (he didn't see me standing around the corner) about how he mishandled the lift while bringing my car down and how he knew he damaged my car. So I went and spoke to the manager and insisted that something was wrong, without telling him about what I heard. The manager put the car back up on the lift, and sure enough, my flex pipe was broken again. He even pointed out the yellow paint that stuck to the bottom of my car from the impact of the lift when the mechanic was bringing it down. Not being able to deny the obvious evidence, he said he would have it fixed. Not having much of a choice (I had to drive 1,000 miles the next day) I said ok. Of course a month later the flex pipe broke again, probably because of a shoddy welding job. I guess the manager is due a tiny amount of credit for not making the situation more difficult than it already was, but he made no reference to how the employee just lied to my face about not having damaged my car. So even if the manager is honest, which I'm still on the fence about, there's no way I would ever bring my car to a place like that again. And I hope that no one else does either. People like that shouldn't be in business. read more

Made an appointment for 3:00 because this was the only place who promised it could be done today. Dropped off my car and told the front desk I was waiting for it; I was just taking a walk across the street to eat something. They promised to call me in about 45mins. No calls. I figured it's Saturday...give them a little extra time. I'm not a ball buster. 4:30... I called to check on it and the front desk told me it would be done tomorrow. I reminded him I was waiting. He apologized for the mix-up and told me he'd get it done in 45mins. I then watched a mechanic finally pull my car into the shop, and so I'm sitting across the street, still waiting... Accidents happen and I'm in no rush, so why complain.... But the same thing happened to me at Firestone in EHT a couple years ago. That was actually a FOUR HOUR ordeal... also to change two tires. Hopefully today won't be a true repeat. IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK? read more

I had an oil change done here because my regular mechanic was tied up FOR several days. I have no problem with the oil change. The problem is these people are liars of the first class. Did you ever notice when you get work done they do all these checks on other systems. Goodyear at Pleasantville new jersey said the following was needed: A new battery Coolant system flush Replace brake fluid Flush Auto trans fluid Clean the injectors Proposed work totalled$ 541.00 First of all I have Hum by Verizon which monitors my car. I got the monthly readout. All systems were fine. Today I saw a special sale price for a Coolant flush in Northfield. I got that and also had a low beam bulb replaced. I drive Uber. I asked Pearle express to check everything on the recCOMMENDED list from goodyear. Remember I also have a monitoring system. I was told I didn't need anything done. In fact they said the brake fluid still was the original yellow green good for another 20000 miles. My traverse has 80000 now. So there you go. One would think a large chain as goodyear would be ethical but they are liars and if you let them get away with it thieves as well. I go to affordable Auto in Pleasantville and Pearle express in Northfield. My experience is you can trust them. No I am not related to Mike at affordable Auto or anybody at Pearle. Everything and everyone was great. From the phone call I made there twice. I believe it was Ronald. He was nice and polite both times I called. Got there for a tire plug and he was great. They didn't even charge me for it. Not sure why, but I was happy about the service there. The place was clean. Had snack and coffee area for free and a corner for the kids to play while you wait. at least they show you what is wrong, i appreciate that. staff are quite courteous, professional. obviously sell tires but also they do lots of standard maintenance stuff like fuel system service, replace shocks and struts, brakes, most of the fluid changes. I wish I had the experience that other have had, I drop my car off Friday May 10 for four new tires an a alignment I was told prior to dropping my car off that they would have no problem doing both the tires and alignment, after four hours and no one called I then drove to the store when I was told that the store lost power and could not call me or do the alignment. I was very upset but I know they do not control the power. So so made an appointment for the following Monday 5-10 at 1:45 pm and came back for the alignment finally after two or so hours they called me and told me that I needed lower ball joints on both side of my truck they gave me a price of 600+ Again I was upset and I just wanted to get the work done and my truck back. I told them to go ahead and do the work they then told me they would have to re-schedule that they could not complete an alignment and ball joints in 5 hour and 15 minutes. I told them forget it I would take it some where else. I took to Macy's in Somer Point told them that Goodyear told me I needed ball joints. Mavis looked at my truck and called me and told me I did not need ball joints. MAVIS SAVED ME 600 Dollars and did the work in one day. NEVER GO TO GOODYEAR read more
