BEWARE!! Went to get a tire plugged, they say cannot be repaired as the puncture is too big and you need a full set of tires. Drove to a gas station and they plugged the tire no problem and said they were just trying to sell you tires. Such BS, so either they lied or are not knowledgeable enough to do the repair, either way not a reputable place. read more

Update 10/13/24: In response to the reply to my review, there is nothing more to address, as I indicated that my dealership finally fixed the problem. I had attempted to have the problem addressed the first two times I brought my car to Firestone, and Firestone neglected to solve it, while in each instance, they told me that they had solved it. The point of my review is for Firestone to address the root cause of the many negative reviews being left here, because it is something intrinsic to the business regarding which potential future customers should be aware before they spend their money and time there. read more

BRANDON BUZBY is a disgusting POS scammer!! Charged me $550 for TWO break pads/rotors and labor when they know I needed it done. They refused to give me a quote until they "inspected it" which is BS they shouldn't need to inspect anything if they're replacing break pads/rotors. Then to top it off he pretends like he's giving me the deal of a lifetime by taking $50 off. ANTHONY the store manager looks at the quote and OKs it as if I'm not being scammed. Very kind, did all they could and free of charge!! They even ordered a new tire for safe measures and rotated the tires for my ease of mind.

The manager was very professional however the mechanic was incompetent. Went there for a battery on Labor Day and the manager squeezed me in for a battery purchase. After a day I noticed that my voltage gauge was not where it should be reading. I thought I needed an alternator. I took it to Cioccia GMC and they discovered that the battery terminals were not secured or tightened. The battery hold down was not applied. They sent me a video of the lousy installation by Firestone of Northfield, NJ. Ciocca no charge to fix the wrong right. This sloppy work by the mechanic could have caused a serious accident or fire. Seems like nowadays the only time people take the time to write a review is to complain. I figured I'd take a moment and complement this particular center. I have a jeep that I work on regularly and do most of the work myself, but found myself in a dilemma due to age And brought it down there and they could not have been nicer the manager put you guys on it and they fix my problem. Immediately they went above and beyond any normal shop would do. I just want to thank the manager and the employees to help me out with my issue so yes, I'm giving this place five stars they couldn't have been nicer and more friendly and they got the job done. They had all the right tools that they needed to fix my problem and I left there extremely happy if you're wondering where to go or where do you get your tires done or even a little technical issue stop by and see these guys you'll be glad you did. read more

To All My Fellow Citizens, I made an appointment to have brake service done on my Jeep at a Firestone dealer. I know that my appt. was for today Tuesday 3/16. There was no way I would have agreed for a Thursday appt. when I already had an appt. for close to that same time frame. When I got to the Firestone dealer my appt. was given to someone else and the female employee was really rude and unprofessional. After leaving this Firestone dealer where I had purchased a set of tires the costs me around $900, I called the Jeep dealership only to learn that their price range for brake service is about the same. I called the Firestone dealership to cancel my appt. and this female customer service rep. slammed the phone down. So then I called Firestone Corporation and complained to them, then I canceled my appointment. The only way I would go to another Firestone dealership is if I had to get a tire replaced due to a puncture. I'm sharing this with you because no one should be treated badly by a business, much less when you or I have done business with them before. read more

Replaced my damaged tire with a new one. They were busy that afternoon but got customers in and out efficiently.

So my experience with this place went from good to horrible. The last time I was there I was way overcharged for the service they did on my car which was simply putting a caliper on the car. With discounts which amounted to almost 90 dollars off it was still 330 dollars for just that. They proceeded to tell me that their hourly labor rate is 135 dollars per some national labor rate policy. That is not true, the average for dealerships is 80-125 so they don't even charge that much just for labor. This company also charged me 121 dollars for the caliper when every local business around here says it's 45-50 dollars. This place is a complete scam and I will never return here again nor will I recommend this place to anyone either. read more

TERRIBLE. SCHEMING. AGGRESSIVE. Got front end work done and went in to get an alignment. Was told that the Jeep needed a $400.00 job to replace a jammed tie rod, and that I had less than a week to get the work done as I was being questioned by 4 mechanic who had left the garage and came into the office about my work schedule and when I was free to come in. 2 days later I went to Kowalski Tire in Egg Harbor City on the Black Horse Pike and was charged $60.00 for an alignment with no problem. Nail in tire. Made an online appointment for 3:00 pm the same day. At 1:30 Firestone called to tell me that in actuality the soonest they could see me was in 2 days! This was an emergency situation- luckily partially solved by AAA. Total incompetence. Why have an online appointment system when you can't honor the appointments? The worst part is this is the 2nd Firestone location (different car) that cancelled an appointment and said I should come in a couple of days lol. Very disappointed with this establishment. I went in with exhaust problem. I was quoted $900 to repair the problem and that they would need to contact me once they were able to find the parts. I went to another auto repair shop the following day and was told that the repair would cost $150 and it only took 35 minutes. This Firestone store also told me that my battery needed replacement last year. The service writer told me my battery wouldn't last 6 months. It's been more than a year now and my battery is fine. My car starts with no issue. I have used Firestone Complete Auto Care for tires and oil changes over the past year but will no longer be using this company. read more

Be careful with unnecessary repairs!!!! This happened about a year ago but feel compelled to pass it along. I went in to get my tires rotated. They had a service special with a multi point inspection that also rotated the tires. So I took the special. It was cheaper anyway. Of course! After the inspection they said my brakes and front rotors were well below the recommended specs and they need to be replaced. I had my brakes already services two months prior by Lexus. I declined. They made a long story about the dangers of driving my vehicle and I would have to sign a waiver liability form so they were not responsible for any misfortunes. I signed it and they made me feel like it was signing my life away. I felt like I was on the hidden camera show about the bait and switch mechanics. This ship is not reputable. I felt sorry for the other patrons that were told that they had defective parts and tires that needed to be replaced. I did not contact management to tell them about my ordeal. Since they have to know about their operations in the first place. Consider yourself warned!!!!! read more

Took my car there because I heard a noise, they said I needed breaks and in order to get to them they would have to break off rotors. and the total cost would be $750.00. So I took it to another mechanic, not only did he get the rotors off without breaking them. He said nothing was wrong with the breaks. ????????? read more

March 9 2016: my car broke down at the td bank across the street. The bank asked Firestone to come across the street and give my car a jump. Firestone kindly agreed. This is a one star review because the technician that was sent over to help me, did not actually know how to jump a car and destroyed my car's electrical system (alternator, main fuse box, fuse plate) by REPEATEDLY jumping it backwards. When I contacted Firestone about this, I only asked them to compensate for the fuse box and fuse plate (roughly 400 dollars) while I was still going to pay for the 1200 alternator. March 26 2016: Roberto, the service manager told me to come in and have a talk with him and he'd fix everything. I did so. However, when I arrived Facebook seemed to take up so much of Roberto's attention that he seemed to have forgotten what a part number is and its purpose, or at least that what he said. I was told to get in touch with the District manager, Mike, in order to get the company to cover the charges. I asked Roberto to call him, he said no. A few days later when my brother came in he received eye contact, and Roberto gave him a phone to use in the store to contact Mike. Sexist much? Furthermore Mike has lied, yelled, and accused me of things that make me question how he got his position. He also refuses to deal with me because I am a woman and have no idea what I am talking about, so he has strictly been in contact with my brother. Mike's excuse for not covering the damages caused by the technician: "If you're friend accidentally jumped your car improperly, would you go after him to cover the damages?" Despite this, I thought to go above Mike to the regional manager. Today: Mike is now intercepting any messages to the regional manager and closing the case so that the regional manager can never know what is occurring. I have never used service from this company, and I never will. What kind of technician doesn't know how to start a car? What kind of company doesn't fix their mistakes? What kind of person talks down to someone because of their gender? This whole experience is disgusting. The sad part is, is that this isn't even half of horror of my experience with this company, this is just all I had the patience to type. So my friend Tyrone, who has ALS, takes his car to this place with the check engine light on. They charge him over $600.00 for a tune up. Before he gets home, the light comes back on. They tell him to bring it back. They put it on the .machine and says it will cost another $600.00 plus to fix. He pays it, and before he gets home again the check engine light comes back on. He takes it back again and they change some hoses, and by the time he gets home again, you guessed it, the check engine light comes back on. When we take it back out there today, they say it will cost another $1,200.00 to fix. Tyrone is my friend and can barely walk or use his hands. Firestone took his money to fix a problem and it has not been fixed! I would not trust this place with your car for anything other than tires! The manager got very belligerent when I complained! Y'all know I don't normally make posts like this, but this just isn't right! Therefore, I am starting a boycott of the Firestone Car Care store ion Northfield for my friend Tyrone! Dropped my wife's car off to have a startup problem diagnosed. Wife called after two days and they angrily said they were working on it and would call her back. She called back two days after that and they hung up on her. A FULL WEEK after we dropped it off, I drove by to find the car still in the same parking spot I had it towed to -- in the same slightly diagonal position. THEY HADN'T EVEN LOOKED AT IT after one week! When I walked in the store to tell them I would have it towed somewhere else, they quickly had their guys move it into the shop, presumably to charge me a diagnostic fee. Luckily I caught on and flipped out on the guy and had it towed elsewhere. Won't be going back to this place ever again. read more

I went in for a basic oil change and was then quoted a price of 1500.00 for tires and brakes. I actually considered letting them do the tires and brakes until I noticed the lake of oil in my 3 month old driveway! They said they would take care of the oil stains and after 2 weeks of them doing nothing they finally showed up to clean it. Needless to say I now have a big oil stain with a bleach white rings around them so they are even more noticeable. After speaking to a friend I found out that their employees get paid by the job and not by the hour. So the more things they can fix on a car the more money they make. Guess that's why every time I go into a place like this I need new tires, wipers, hoses, or anything the can gouge you for. My friend recommended another place up the street and I got everything done, tires and brakes, for less than a 1000.00. read more

Horrible horrible. Purchased 4 tires. Problem with one tire. A slow leak. Went back in the they said the run flat had a nail. Couldn't patch it. No problem. Have insurance on the tires. They give me a new tire. Less than 24 hours. Same issue. Slow leak. Went back. Waited another hour. Guy says it's no leak. It was an issue with my TPM stem valve. They fixed it. So they said. 24 hours later...Same exact tire is completely flat. COMPLETELY. I'm out of town for the holidays and have to drive back to get this sorted out for the THIRD time. I beginning to think they put the old tire back on. Not to mention there's now a DEEP gash in the inside wheel well of my rim. I brought it up to the manager the first time. He laughed it off and said there's no way they could've did it and it has nothing to do with the slow leak. Yea we'll...third visit is the charm. Very unhappy with this shop. I was quoted a front brake job after they checked out the car, but when I returned the cost was almost! $150 higher, with no explanation. The unauthorized work was unnecessary, and they did remove it, but it was still higher than quoted on the phone. The company's main office has not responded to my complaint. read more
