Do not use this bus service! The busses are dirty, they make way too many stops to pick up passengers, adding to travel time and they do not have great service. The first and last time that I used this bus it had gum and food all over the floors. The bus arrived an hour behind schedule and did not even have wifi or outlets. The driver communicated poorly to passengers, not informing us how many stops we were going to make or even when we were going to stop at a rest stop. They may have inexpensive prices but that just goes to show you get what you pay for. read more

The worst experience ever! I went to NY Saturday morning 12:00 am just to do quick business came back to VA the same day at 10:00 pm the same driver from the morning going to New York. When we arrived at Chesapeake Bay Bridge the driver was falling asleep and the bus was swerving everybody was scared and tried to talked to him but he doesn't speak English a guy asked me to talk to him coz he thought I was Chinese but I'm not, what I did is tell him to stop and explain by hand gesture that he was swerving and needs to take a break. But instead he got mad at me and said he was fine and he's been driving a bus for 20 years!!!! His reason is irrelevant it doesn't go by experience but by how much he took rest before he drove the bus that day!!!! He told me not to ride Goodyear bus again! Omg I won't anymore even if it's FREE!!!!!! If u guys love your life stay away from this company they're untrained, unprofessional, very rude and very bad service go pay a little more extra at other bus company but at least you will be much more safer. read more

This could be great. They are punctual, nice and I didn't die. BUT it is not great because the wifi is weak, the bus is not cleaned regularly and the route they take makes the trip longer than normal. It also doesn't stop along the way for restrooms meaning you are stuck using the bus facilities of holding it for a very long time. The price is a bit cheaper than other services and I was told it is just as bad but a few tweaks could make this great. read more

I wanted to create this business on yelp and write a review because I wish it had been done for me when I was looking for information on this company. I recently took an overnight bus from Hampton, VA to New York, NY. The ticket was purchased online and there wasn't very much information provided online. The ticket said the pick up place in Hampton was in some parking lot... this worried me and I started to wonder if it was legit. It definitely was! We were picked up on a Friday evening around 11 PM (the bus was a little late). We loaded our luggage and got right on the bus. Our tickets were taken once we reached the Newport News/Yorktown location. FYI the NN/Yorktown location has an actual bus station. The Norfolk and Hampton locations are just parking lots. The bus was decently clean. I never used the restroom, but my friend who did said it was decently clean. The bus was a large charter bus with seats that reclined. Try to get 2 seats next to each other for maximum comfort. Our bus on the way up was about 3/4 full. The way back was only about 1/2 fuIl. It was easy to lay back and fell asleep. I woke up at 5:30 AM on Saturday, just as we were entering the city. It was the perfect time to arrive. The traffic was good so it only took about 10 minutes to take a taxi to our hotel across town. There were people waiting at the bus stop in Chinatown when we arrived and they helped us get cabs. On the way home, we were running late. The bus left at EXACTLY 3:30 and we arrived around 3:28. They were nice about it and helped us with our luggage. We boarded the bus and were off. There was a stop about an hour outside of the city where you had 10 minutes to run inside the bus stop and get food. There were a few small restaurants. We arrived in Norfolk around 10:15 PM and got to our stop in Hampton around 10:45. Overall... I strongly recommend! Here is my breakdown with notes: Time: 4 stars. The bus was late picking us up on the way there, but got us to NYC in excellent time. We left NYC right on time and got back, once again, in excellent time! Would be 5 stars if the bus was on time in the beginning. Quality: 3.5 stars. Decent charter bus. Nice size. Decebt bathroom. Not very comfortable, but enough space. Vale: 5 stars. You cannot beat it... especially at $35-40 each way. Driver: 4 stars. Kinda crazy (NY driver). Got us there in great time though! Location: 3.5 stars. The Hampton pickup is a parking lot by Hampton U. There is no free parking except the very small visitors lot across the street at the apartment complex. The NN location was an actual bus station. The chinatown stop was also a station. Decent location in NY... kinda creepy at night though. Cleanliness: 4 stars. Trash bags at each seat to keep it clean. Smelled decent. Bathroom wasn't terrible. As I said before. I highly recommend... as long as your not expecting something super fancy. It was clean, fast, and cheap! read more

Currently on a bus from New York to Virginia. The busy has no air conditioning. Very hot and uncomfortable for the children and passengers.

I have use Good Year , bus a lot , because they have reserved seats if you call ahead. Well the last time I was going to NYC from Va. they over booked the bus and I was out. This really screwed me up. I really want to use reserved seating as it keeps everyone calm and not rushing door and eliminates the chaos. What is so hard about it. read more

I only used this bus company because I live literally 2 minutes down the street in the Kiln Creek neighborhood. I figured thought it was great because I could just park my car and no issues. Boy was I wrong the bus was horribly filthy the seats were literally brown like a million people have sat there. I sat closer to the back and the whole 8 hours all I smelled was piss. The driver doesn't communicate and his staff is very rude. Due to the business practice and the quality of their product I will now happily drive to the sprint location from now on. read more

Seeing as how I was supposed to get to NN at 4:45 am and it is now 7:15 am and I am on the side of the road in deleware waiting for a repairman and the driver has not communicated to us I can not give anything close to a good rating. I will never take this bus again and I will tell all the Koreans in NN and in NYC to never ride this bus again. I will be reporting you to the BBB. The driver had not communicated with us and we have waited 5 hours for a repairman when they should have just gotten another bus (locally) to come get us so we didn't have to wait so long. This company will go out of business soon for their unsafe buses. This bus probably hasn't even been maintained properly. I could tell as soon as he started driving that something was amiss as it kept jumping. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I should write one for this company because of how overwhelmingly negative the other reviews are. I took a bus from Va Beach to NYC overnight on Sunday with a friend of mine, and I was very satisfied with the experience. For just $35, it really was much better than I expected. The bus was comfortable, clean, and was kept dark out of respect for riders trying to catch some sleep during the overnight trip. They had USB outlets for me to charge my phone, and the A/C worked fine. We were picked up from the station 15 minutes ahead of schedule, and arrived in Chinatown nearly an hour early. My only complaints are about the lack of leg room (the person in front of me was reclined into my lap for half the trip and I am a tall guy, so I had to do a bit of maneuvering to make sure my knees weren't crushed), and that there was no functional Wi-Fi (which I didn't need, but they still advertised their buses as having Wi-Fi). Still, you get what you pay for, and it was an experience you really can't beat for just $35. read more
