Love this car wash. The people are very friendly and the wash does a really great job on my black car. I do wish the wheel rim cleaner did a better job. Vacuums are free and they even have a wash station for you to rinse off your winter mats. Price is reasonable. Hours could be a little better in the morning. Would love to wash my car on the way to work. I believe that they do not open till 8. Personally I would rather have the hours be 7am to 7pm instead of 8am to 8pm in my opinion. The Car Wash scratched the hood of my Hyundai Genesis. The cars hood had just been repainted. But it had sat at the body shop for a couple weeks after it was painted and was fully dry. I filled out a Goo Goo Car Wash claim form. I filed an incident report with the Avon City Police. The car wash had me take it to the body shop and get an estimate. The body shop said it was a car wash scratch.The car wash then just refused to pay to have it fixed. Additionally, the car wash ownership is listed through an attorney so you can't get to the owner. I talked to my insurance company and they said going after the car wash is a waste of time, just file a claim (pay the deductible). The body shop said don't go to them. We have a monthly membership and every time we try to stop on our way to work, they are not open despite reporting public being open between the hours of 8a-8p. I'm growing extremely frustrated that there is no transparency on what hours we can use our membership. I just circled back three times to see if someone was there with no luck. We love this place but not when we can't actually go. read more

This was my first time at goo-goo car wash. Not sure about the name but it is something you won't forget. The staff are all dressed alike in a clean professional uniforms. The least expensive wash started at $8 and still included a personal brush/spray down and of the vehicle by the attendants. While my reason for wanting the wash extensive bird droppings was not fully removed I did feel the wash was a good one. The place was very clean and staff was courteous. The unlimited package at 19.95 would be wise if you live in the area. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. read more

Attendant was super nice and helpful about offering a free month of washes that we can then terminate to try them out - very cool! The wash itself was amusing with lights and fanciful foam. The sprayers got ALL of the soap, even the soap under our rain guards. Try them out, our Nissan looked great after! read more

This is the coolest car wash I have ever been to. I'll qualify that- the coolest self serve car wash. I had more fun there than my kids. I brought my mom's car here. I bought the super deluxe ultimate wash, which was $18. When I bring my own car, I will just do the basic wash, but I was being nice...and her car needed some extra love. The car wash itself is fine. Basic. The kids liked all the neon colors and lights. See my picture for the Slimer-esque prewash. When I pulled out, I noticed they had free vacuums. She could definitely use a vacuuming, so I took care of that. I was very bummed that the industrial vacuum wouldn't get the dog hair out of her floor mats. Oh well, I thought. Still a good time. BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE. They have a free floor mat cleaner!!! It's this neat little machine that sucks your mat in, then spits it out all clean!!! Thank you, Goo Goo. I would've given this place a zero if I could! What a disappointment. I just went for the first time; I will never go back. First time there, I pull up the wash and expect to speak to the attendant who can't hear me because he has headphones in. So rude! Go through the wash, the dryers are terrible. Mar car was soaking and has water stains all over it. Then I get home to find that it didn't even touch the back of my car (small suv). It's covered with dirt. My suggestion... find another car wash. I don't know how that place stays in business. If the business owner happens to read this, the best way to send an suv and probably any car through is to scrub the back with a sponge first. You're attendant can probably still listen to a podcast/music and work at the same time. Total disappointment!!!!! read more

First visit to Goo-Goo today to get my daughter's new car washed. After we went thru the wash, we drove to the vacuums and as soon as we got out of the car, we noticed her temp tag had come off inside the car wash! She ran over to tell the attendant and right away he runs inside the car wash, with water spraying, and he found it! Not sure what we would have done if he hadn't found it! read more

Let me say that I love this place! I have been here multiple times and I usually get the $10 wash. Well today I decided to buy the monthly pass. For $19.95 a month I get the same wash that I've been getting but I can go unlimited times! Wow! I was paying $40 a month going once a week, now I can pay $19.95 and go as many times as I want too! They also have free vacuums. They work really well! I have a toddler who throws French fries in my car & those vacuums sucked them right out from under the seat! They have a free mat cleaner & they have a large bucket of soapy water with a scrub type broom/brush for vinyl mats. Theres a rack there to put the vinyl mats on so you can clean them & let them drip dry. There's also a hose there. They usually have a roll of paper towels out too. I had to use the restroom while I was there & I was surprised at how clean it was. I was preparing myself for something scary , considering it was a car wash, but wow! It seems like s lot of younger kids work there but they're all super nice! They're extremely helpful too. I have a hard time lining my wheel up to go through the car wash but they guide me right on through. Thanks guys! And you even get a free car shaped air freshener. Definitely recommend! read more

Gone her twice. Each time tons of suds are left by my side mirrors. Pulled away and suds splattered up both sides of my car. Didn't even leave the lot with out needing to fin another car wash to clean my car after paying $21. Also it's a drive through so why did an employee have to help us with the touch screen and they weren't wearing a mask. Bonus is last time I came here I used the vacuum system and something rubbed my car and scratched it to hell. Won't be back. read more

Car wash does a good job. The prewash by the staff, though, is hit or miss. Sometimes they do a good job scrubbing the hard to reach places the automatic wash cannot get. Other times it seems like a real chore to them to have to perform this task. read more

Terrible management, have been paying for a membership for over a year, just showed up on a Sunday at 9 AM, website actually says open at 8 AM, one worker showed up at 9:00 with a line full of cars, never said a word to any of us, when finally approached about 920 he said they don't open till 10. Not getting my money's worth. I'm used to getting touchless/brushless plus underbody for $12 in Chicagoland. Here it was $15 to get underbody (we're in salt country folks), and still, brushes. The prewash guys only hit 2/3 of my front and rear windshield. Plus a lousy dry: def a BYOT place. All in all, a disappointment. Suggestion: move underbody into a lower tier, improve the dry, and remove one tier. Probably better value if you're a member. If I had seen the prices while I could still change my mind, I would've tried somewhere else. read more

Love, Love, LOVE this car wash!! Truly the BEST I've ever gone through. I was impressed that I could actually SMELL the clean soap as my car was being washed! Little extras are so very nice....FREE vacuum system, FREE car mat cleaning (I don't think it vacuums the mats but rather vibrates the dust off - - but then I use the FREE vacuum) and they give you a FREE air freshener to hang in your car (a little powerful - but nice still the same!). Last time they had free paper towels available too!! I have been twice already - every time I'm in the area. I'm thinking about doing the "unlimited" washes. I think it will be worth the price and the drive to Avon. I've already told my sons to go there to get their cars clean. AWESOME!! read more

Car wash itself is great the dryers do an ok job at drying your car. The reason for 2 stars is because of the arrogant staff. Between me and my family we have 4 memberships there. I have politely asked multiple different guys please DO NOT put your little plastic bag over my back windshield wiper. Some guys are like ok no problem others argue with me saying it is for protection. I'm sorry but a bright yellow goo-goo car wash plastic bag over my windshield shield wiper does not protect anything it's called advertisement and when I don't take it off and going 70mph down the highway and it blows off I find it to be more or a safety issue/adding to the garbage on the freeway. I ask the one guy not to put it on and he told the rest of the crew and then another guy with a pony tail smiles and goes and puts one on anyways. And then I go today and ask the guy please take the plastic off the back wiper and he did with no problem and then one of the others asked why he did that and he told him and as I watched in my mirror the little kid gave a super nasty look and said here give me that I'll go put it on not to mention that's the same kid that I see over and over again texting on his phone when he's supposed to be brushing the cars as they go through when his team members are doing their job. Not impressed at all with a couple of the staff members. Like I said though good wash would recommend it if you don't mind dealing with the staff. read more
