Got the B set menu and 2 orders of the fried rice for 5 people. The service is great, there's a good amount of banchan, and the meat is delicious. They don't rush the grilling and are good about ensuring the complete cook time (which is extra important for gopchang)! There's plenty of seating, but the booths are ideal for max party size of 5-6 since I think most of the tables only have one grill.

I'll preface this by saying that I know that a truly authentic experience such as, apparently, this, isn't for the faint of heart. With that said, I wasn't bothered by the items on the menu - essentially nothing but offal, in intestines, stomach meat, and cow heart. It just wasn't terribly tasty, even with the modest array of sauces/oils provided by the restaurant. This is probably due to them using parts of the cow that aren't fatty, but other than the particular chewiness of the grilled meat, and the visuals, I just didn't enjoy the meal very much. The bonchon wasn't to my liking - outside of the kimchi, maybe - though I couldn't quite put my finger on why. Nothing stood out as being particularly good. On top of that, it was rather expensive (with tip, about $40 per person - with water). I'm sure there are immigrants and children of immigrants who want the real thing. I'm not one of them, though, and if you're not, you probably won't enjoy this experience. The interior was sort of dumpy, as well, with Kpop being played (but not syncing with the videos on their several televisions) pretty loudly. The service was attentive, I'll say, but that would be the lone positive I can muster. I'm an adventurous eater. I wasn't disturbed by what was on the menu. It just wasn't an experience worth repeating for me, and chances are, it isn't one to attempt the first time for you.

Excited to have a gopchang place on Buford highway. Got the combo A so that we got to try the different kinds. The menu had a lot of other things we would like to go back and try. The meat seemed to have a cleaner taste and not as greasy as the other places we went to. The banchan was a bit limited, but had the basics and was good. Service was good. It was a bit slow on getting a table when we walked in cause it seemed like it was just 2 guys working, once we got a table they were great.

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Gopchang on Fire. Typically, I'm more of a Hwangso Gopchang person, but my sister is a bigger fan of Gopchang on Fire so we decided to check this place out. This location sits at the former Hello Chicken area on Buford Hwy, right next to Mozart Bakery. It's definitely the biggest location out of the three they have, and this is extremely convenient for the folks who want gopchang but live closer to downtown. The menu is the same as the two locations -- we always order the set menu, that comes with gopchang (small intestines), daechang (large intestines), makchang, yeomtong and some other things. We also ordered the fried rice, which I was SO surprised at how good it was. There were a few reaons that I preferred Hwangso over Gopchang on Fire, but my thoughts were changed after coming here. 1) The Daechang - Hwangso's daechang is not cut up, so it has more fat making it more flavorful. Gopchang on Fire, on the other hand cuts it up which I didn't prefer. But when we went this time, the daechang had some light marinade on it that made it extremely flavorful. Also, because it was cut up, it didn't feel as greasy and heavy so I could keep on chomping it down. 2) Soybean Powder - So... it's a given that you need to dip your gopchang and daechang in the soybean powder, and Hwangso gave that out. Gopchang on Fire on the other hand used to not give it out, but now they do upon request -- and I may like Gopchang on Fire's powder even better. Has more of a subtly sweet flavor that I prefer. Gopchang on Fire also wins on the flavor of the fried rice. I don't know what it is, but the fried rice there is just sooooo good. Overall - I had an AMAZING meal. Service was also great. I live near Suwanee, but I liked it so much to the point that I definitely want to come back. I hope they do well in the Doraville area and I can't wait to come back!

They were super accommodating to our little one as well!!

I think gopchang on fire is the best place for gopchang in general but this location out of the 3 is phenomenal!! Very clean, spacious, and the ambiance was great. Looks absolutely beautiful inside. Everything was delicious and the intestines were cooked to perfection. The quality is up to par with service and taste and we'll definitely be coming back for more! Thank you guys for making Doraville the best foodie spot in Atl

The Korean food scenes got my wife and I hungry every time! Having been to many of Atlanta's best Korean restaurants over the past decade, Stone Bowl is a clear notch above the rest. The side dishes are just simply better with robust authentic seasoning and unforgettable flavor that leaves you craving for more. The kimchi is spot on for spice but not overwhelming. The potatoes are to die for, cooked to perfection, tender and absorbent of all the nearby flavors. For the first time, we tried the Korean sushi roll (K-Pop Demon Hunters was calling) and it didn't disappoint. Stuffed with fresh cooked bulgogi and veggies, we ate it so fast we were left thinking of Korean sushi rolls had an edge over Japanese sushi rolls! And we also got the poached dumplings for the first time and almost went as fast as the sushi roll. The authentic style of poaching the dumpling made it taste homemade from grandma's kitchen. The sizzling plate of bulgogi was amazingly put down the gullet on top of everything else. Consistently on point and warms the tummy. Service is cordial, but somewhat aloof and distant at times because we would have loved an offer to refill our side dishes, but admittedly they are often busy and we don't go there to expect Michelin dining service levels. We come for the food. Awesome food. And Stone Bowl House will be seeing us again before long.

Haven't you been Yet Tuh?…read more You should get out more and find these little places that just make eating out magical. Yet Tuh is one of them! We got the seafood pancake, a full side-dish set of banchan, galbi short ribs, something akin to miso soup (that my uncle said was super spicy, but just tasted like plain miso soup to me), and black goat soup which was as spicy as it was red. Everything was fabulous! The food, the location, the people, the ambiance- everything really sold the whole authentic vibe. We'll definitely be back. I'm so down for that savory seafood pancake!

It is located behind a bunch of buildings and it can be hard to find, but it is honestly quite popular. There are not a lot of seats inside and there are only a few tables outside, but some people had to wait for a table to open up. It is rather tightly packed inside. All the tables seemed to be run by one lady, at least when I visited, but the food came out fairly quick for the amount of people there versus the single waitress. My friend and I shared the Kimchi Pancake and Fresh Pork Belly. The Kimchi Pancake was huge! There were 8 small to medium sized slices (think pizza size). The pancake had a good crunch and taste, especially when dipped into the complementary sauce. My only complaint would be that it had a lot of onions. I would have preferred more kimchi and flour. The Fresh Pork Belly was good, but I wish it was crisper. We were also fans of the banchan! I liked the kimchi and pickled radish. I think if you are looking Korean food that feels like it was home-cooked with love, then Yet Tuh is the place to go! It has a lot of traditional Korean food such as stews and grilled meats & fish. Also, a lot of the dishes can be shareable.

We got the Coconut Ube Latte, KFC Sando, and Hashbrown. I took a bite of the KFC Sando and was blown away at how good it tasted. The chicken was fried to perfection and very meaty. I enjoyed the pickles, which tasted a bit like cucumber kimchi. The spicy mayo was also tasty. Toward the end of my meal, the chicken started tasting a bit too much like meat and it was a bit off putting, but other than that it was still a delicious sandwich. The hashbrown was nothing special. The Coconut Ube Latte was beautifully presented, but it tasted a bit heavy. I think there was too much milk and it ended up tasting like chocolate milk with no hint of ube. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back to try other items on the menu. I also want to try their alcohol!
