    Bulgogi Stone Bowl
    Orlando B.

Excellent gem of a spot on Buford Highway. A must go to spot if you've never been. Ive come here multiple times now for lunch and dinner. Service is excellent and comes with quite a nice selection of banchan with your meal. Get their very popular bulgogi stone bowl. You can't go wrong. Cant wait to go back again soon.

My family and I have eaten here for years and we just returned on Saturday craving Atlanta's best Korean food after near non-stop K-Pop Demon Hunters with the kids all Christmas and New Year's break. The Korean food scenes got my wife and I hungry every time! Having been to many of Atlanta's best Korean restaurants over the past decade, Stone Bowl is a clear notch above the rest. The side dishes are just simply better with robust authentic seasoning and unforgettable flavor that leaves you craving for more. The kimchi is spot on for spice but not overwhelming. The potatoes are to die for, cooked to perfection, tender and absorbent of all the nearby flavors. For the first time, we tried the Korean sushi roll (K-Pop Demon Hunters was calling) and it didn't disappoint. Stuffed with fresh cooked bulgogi and veggies, we ate it so fast we were left thinking of Korean sushi rolls had an edge over Japanese sushi rolls! And we also got the poached dumplings for the first time and almost went as fast as the sushi roll. The authentic style of poaching the dumpling made it taste homemade from grandma's kitchen. The sizzling plate of bulgogi was amazingly put down the gullet on top of everything else. Consistently on point and warms the tummy. Service is cordial, but somewhat aloof and distant at times because we would have loved an offer to refill our side dishes, but admittedly they are often busy and we don't go there to expect Michelin dining service levels. We come for the food. Awesome food. And Stone Bowl House will be seeing us again before long.

Hands down Best Banchan selection and flavors across many Korean restaurants I've visited (and I ate a lot of Korean food)!! My son's kimchi and pork bibimbap is the bomb!! Easily the best bibimpap ever. It is different than other bibimbap we had in other places. My grilled squid is too sweet for me. I prefer savory and spicy dishes, so any dish with too much sugar/sweet are not to my liking. The squid is grilled/cooked to perfection though. Good service and fast. The place is cute. It has lots of "private" spaces for larger groups.

I was told to eat here for a true Korean experience and they were not kidding. I just got back from the South Korea a d I can share that this was very traditional and I felt like I still back there. I had Bibimbap and it was delicious with the hot stone and the every stays hot. You can add the level of spicy or hotness that you want. The kimchi was great and all the sides made the experience even better. The service was good and the ladies were very attentive. The restaurant was great and the ambiance did not disappoint. If you are in the mood for some true Korean food, this is your place. You are welcome!

Love this place! They have delicious homemade Korean. Kimbap is amazing and so are the stone bowls. The crispy rice will have you dreaming about it!

One of Atlanta's best family-owned restaurants. Been coming here for over ten years -- since the days when Grandma would come out from the kitchen to make sure we liked her cooking - and the food is consistently fresh, homemade, flavorful and affordable. Love the hot barley tea, tofu soup, and mushroom bibimbap. The banchan are all delicious, our favorite of any we've tried.

Been here twice and enjoyed both visits. Def recommend coming for lunch because their deals are pretty great and food comes out fast. Prob going to be a new go-to spot for us! We started with the seafood pancake - massive and loaded with squid, clams, etc. Came with a dipping sauce that helped balance the flavors for those who don't love seafood as much as I do. For our mains, we each got a bimbimbap. I got the spicy squid and thought it was super tender and had a nice kick - bonus points for the bowl being loaded with veggies. The side dishes are always one of my fav parts of Korean restaurants and this place doesn't miss!

I had medium expectations for coming here since Atl (and Buford Hwy) have SUCH good Korean food options, and Stone Bowl House only had a solid 4-stars on Yelp! I'm soooo happy I went, however, so I can contribute towards getting Stone Bowl House closer to the 5-star review that they SOO deserve! Everything was delicious. All three of my guests (2 Koreans) and I were obsessed. We all remarked that we EASILY could have scarfed down two Stone Bowls each-- because they were so delicious not bc they were too small. We're all SO happy we tried it and totally plan to go back. We tried 5 or so different dishes between all of us and enjoyed them all. The ambiance is also nice and quiet, but still lively-- good for conversations!

I loved everything. Prices are good for lunch, got the bulgolgi bibimbap Dolsot. Nice portion size. All banchan is so good and the bowl stays nice and hot the entire meal. Parking is plenty but in a small shopping center. Easy to get to. Service is quick but they don't check on you too often which is ok. I'll come back !

Great place! We got the beef and chicken Bulgogi and the pan seared dumplings. Everything was excellent. The meat was very tender. The dumplings were a favorite! The staff was very nice and our food came out quickly. I loved the intimate booth setting. It was nice to sit and catch up with family. We will definitely be back. I want to try one of the stone bowls next.

Well worth the drive!! We vote this place as best bibimbap in Atlanta!! We tried the bulgogi hot stone bowl bibimbap, the squid, and the eel. They were all delicious!! And the various kimchi little accompaniments that kept getting refilled were so refreshing and yummy. The cucumber spicy one was a hit and the cucumber melon (or at least it tasted like it apple or melon coleslaw was sooooo good!!), the fish, the potatoes, etc. they were all good!! We got to sit in a traditional private booth. Great ambiance for a family or group of friends or co-workers. It's always a hit, when we bring in friends who have not been or have never tried an authentic Korean restaurant.

The environment is very cute, there are a lot of private booths. The banchan here is very unique. They're all very good packed with alot of flavor, the seafood pancake here is good. Not oily, comes with an addicting sauce. The bibimbap is good but the most unique one is the eel bibimbap. The rice that comes with it is not the typical red bibimbap sauce but it reminds me of a mushroom risotto. The service is very good, it was my first time so I know it was a little slow but that is okay!

This place was recommended by a friend. I was looking forward to a meal shared between 9 of us. We had reservations so were seated right away on Friday night. They have separated room spaces perfect for big groups. A lot of us ordered bibibimbop and we unanimously felt thr meat quantity was too little for an 18$ plus dish. The brisket bulgogi dish was good but maybe too sweet and also pricey at 40$ plus. The vegetarian dumplings and pork dumplings were both great. Overall spent a about 60$ per person for food and beer and tthought was a big overpriced for thr overall quality. Ps Banchan refills are charged after the first round. heads up I really wanted to love this spot but I think I'll hv to keep looking for my favorite Korean spot in atl

    Is there vegetarian food here?

A lot of korean dishes use fish sauce in them even when you ain't realize. But yeah I'd say bibimbap is your best bet. Just don't get the egg but the egg it what makes it!

Despite this, the restaurant was vibrant on a rainy midweek day... Almost full to capacity with patrons. Happy my partner recommended this restaurant! I sat at the bar to place my to go order and was greeted promptly by the bartender. He brought me water and provided the QR code to order. The gentleman next to me was enjoying the Bimibap which looked very enticing, but due to the cold weather, I wanted something warm. Soup was not an option and was directed to the glass noodle dish. The glass noodles were of a sweet potato consistency and included several vegetables. I did not know that the bone marrow mentioned in the description would be an actual marrow, quite large that was discovered once I dug into my dish at home. The flavors exuded were right on point! The portion was also ample for a second meal. Will definitely return to sample the Bimibap on a warmer day and possibly some of the drinks offered. I truly enjoyed the waiting period at the bar, striking up conversation and viewing Misery which was being projected on the wall... A true horror classic. A man approached me asking me for money and was extremely pushy when I apologized and said I didn't have cash. Especially as a woman, this was very intimidating and scary for me... I worried about my car being broken into since he knew which one was mine, but thankfully it wasn't. I entered the restaurant to a cool, casual ambiance. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Our table shared several items tapas-style/a la carte including: beef bulgogi, Brussels sprouts, glass noodle, scallion pancake, shishito peppers, hedo bap, and I believe one of the pork and/or chicken dishes. I can't remember which, but everything we ordered was tasty! My favorite item was the glass noodles! It was served very elegantly with the bone marrow (sorry I only got a picture of the portion I put on my plate). I'd love to take my husband here soon!
