I have been going to Jaya for Henna for the past 5 years. I first met her when she came to do Henna at my friends baby shower which was soo fun! She did beautiful work on her belly and then all of us friends had something small done too. She is incredibly talented. You can make requests but I usually just ask her to create on a whim for me because she is SOOO creative and I always love what she does. It's very easy to schedule an appointment, I use a link that on her IG profile. Prices depend on how large the work is. For me, the Henna seems to last very visibly for a week and then slowly and evenly fades. By two weeks it's pretty close to being totally gone. You can take steps to make your henna last longer tho. Every time I have her henna work, people constantly stop to ask me where I had it done and I love telling them!! I know that she is sometimes at Seaport Village but she also works out of a home studio in National City that was very easy to find and parking was easy too. I have had 4 hennas from Jaya now, and each one of them turned out beautiful. She has a great overall sense of the design (getting it straight and making sure it looks good from a distance) and at the same time her detail is amazing (lines the same thickness, not messy at all, loops and turns nice and even). Also, I've seen some pretty crazy things she's remade from Internet pictures such as a portrait of someone's dog. If you have something in mind, she can henna it. To add on to the 5 star design, she also is very quick. My full hand only took about 10 minutes total. As the cherry on top, she also has jagua which stains black, and the traditional brown henna.
