This place focus more on manicures than pedicures And it wasn't worth the $$ The owner event admitted that she specializes more in manicure than pedicure. Raisa is so gifted at what she does!! She is always so creative and super talented at freehand designs!! I am always getting compliments on my nails! She recently did a memorial pic on my nails for my fur baby that just passed away, I couldn't help but tear up when I saw what she was designing...again, she's so incredibly gifted! This is what I've been looking for since I moved to San Diego! Found this gem by searching #sandiegonails (or something like that) on Instagram. Booked an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. You have to book online and put deposits down - but as everyone knows you get what you pay for. Cute, clean, professional and friendly atmosphere. I went in with A MESS of a grown out manicure that was embarrassing. Sue fixed me right up and gave me exactly what I was looking for - classic nude for my job. They do amazing nail art, but they do classic as well. The dry pedi I got was new but I can appreciate the method and the mask and scrub felt great. I got a small gift bag with a nail kit for booking the queen bee pedi. This place is not your typical walk in run-of-the-mill nail salon. I found Raisa on Vagaro after a very frustrating abs poor customer service experience with a long term mail salon. Booking with Raisa was very easy. She was a bit booked so I originally scheduled my Nail a d foot services on consecutive days but Raisa graciously contacted me and put them together on one day. This was all before I had even sat in her chair. The salon is really cute and clean. There is a really cool vibe and everyone including other clients, are super nice and chill. They offer a full complement of mail services plus complementary services like lash extensions. The services I received today were gel builder nail enhancements with a pedicure. Raisa builds nails from a form she doesn't use a tip. This is hard to do especially with builder gel. She's amazing at it. My nails look really natural and she hand shapes which is rare. She's also very thorough with the pedicure. I wanted something on the pink family for my toes and she put a small dot of each color on a nail so I could see them instead of having me rifle through bottles. It's the little things. Raisa is extremely professional, personable, and made getting my nails done an absolutely joy. I'm looking forward to my next appointment read more

I made an appointment for Thursday but I got a call saying they had to reschedule me because the owner wasn't going to be in. Not a problem, I rescheduled to Wednesday at 10:30. The woman on the phone is asking me what I want done (mani/pedi) but I told her I wasn't sure which kind and ASKED if I will have the option to upgrade my service once I get there; she said sure. I arrive on time but Raisa was finishing up with someone else. Cool, it happens. 20 minutes later, she is ready for me. I wanted to upgrade my service but was told no. She kept pushing for me to get my nails done and said "if there is time, I can do your feet." I said no, I was schedule for a mani/pedi. Raisa said she was behind and had to squeeze me in (like she was doing me a favor). I reminded her that I arrived on time and had to wait for HER. I said if she didn't have time to give me what I wanted, she shouldn't had scheduled me. It's unprofessional to have a customer WAIT 20 minutes and REFUSE to provide a service. Save your money! Just because you made an appointment doesn't mean you will get service. Update: One of the owners called to apologized. I love when companies actually CARE about how their customers feel about their service. This serious minded woman takes pride in how her business is viewed and took my concerns seriously.
