Gopo is artisan made gourmet popcorn, tailored for you. We hand craft our own flavors using ingredients found in our environment (Missouri) and make the best popcorn we know how. If customers want, we change those flavors to meet their requests. We do not use preservatives by choice, so our flavors are encouraged to be eaten as soon as possible, which normally isn't a problem. We have a monthly subscription service, make orders when we receive them, and ship them out across the country. We can be found at events, markets, and around the area in festivals. If you see our packages in a store, they have been tailored for our customers needs, the store. We want you to be our customer too, so let us know how we can make that happen. Gopo, gourmet popcorn, can come in many flavors. We make our signature flavors with local businesses who have already perfected their own ingredients, such as Jazzed Butter using Jazz a Louisiana Kitchen seasoning, or our Slow Burn Kettle, using Lutz's Spicy BBQ sauce. We use locally grown popcorn from Martinsburg MO in all of our Air Popped flavors, and have air roasted Camacho Coffee all of our open hours. We have 6,000 sq feet of event space that is free to use for customers year round, with over 350 board and card games to play and paid for wifi that makes being in Fulton that much sweeter!

History

Established in 2013.

I loved getting popcorn tins from my grandma at Christmas, the three different flavors separated by that cardboard divider, it was eco-friendly before green stood for sustainability. I loved mixing butter with cheddar, even though every one else loved the cheddar and caramel. We explored many creative delights and came up with other flavors that we love, like Cinnabun, Jazzed Butter, Snapped Cheddar, and many others. We started gopo, what we thought gourmet popcorn should be, re-making popcorn for Missouri and now the country! Our grandmothers have passed on, but their love and the way they made complete strangers feel like they have somewhere to belong has been instilled in our business, so in a sense they will remain with us forever!

Meet the Business Owner: Brooke B.

Brooke grew up in Missouri, went to the University of Missouri Columbia for her undergraduate, and met her husband Nicholas after school. They started the business after inspiration from their grandmothers, who always made popcorn for parties, and made complete strangers feel like they belonged somewhere. Their son Nolan can frequently be found welcoming strangers to try some of his favorite flavors and teach them how to play a game from the shelf of awesomeness!
