In addition to physical therapy and switching my exercises, I used joint supplements, joint creams, and Tylenol. I had first heard about Cryotherapy from a Real Housewives episode (true story... I know, please don't judge...lol). When I saw Cryotherapy, I knew it was something I had to try even though I knew nothing about it. After seeing Cryotherapy on the Real Housewives episode, I did a little of my own research to learn more. I was excited about all the benefits of it and immediately began searching for a Cryotherapy near Hinsdale, but only found the closest location in Chicago. Not too long after I had been scoping out a convenient location, Freeze Fix had opened right down the street from our home!! I was over the moon! While there I bought and used the $10 primer packet all over, used the hand lotion as instructed, stood in the booth EXACTLY as the associate showed me, cleaned up after as I was instructed, wore loose clothing and did no sweaty activity for 18 hours. Monday morning - By the time I woke up the next day, my tan was crazy dark on my face compared to my body, uneven on my legs and arms, and you can see droplets all over my hands, legs, etc. I fixed with at home with a mitt and Bondi Sands on my arms and legs, and it looked as I'd hoped, except for my hands where it still has spray droplets that can't seem to be evened out. Little to no sweating and staying moisturized. Wednesday afternoon - I have orange patches in some spots, my hands are still spotty, and a square inch patch on my chest has rubbed off. Little to no sweating and staying moisturized still. I've gotten spray tans before and this has never happened elsewhere. I did *everything* I was supposed to do and this tan is crap. I've used Jergens and Bondi Sands at home that have worked better than whatever garbage LA Tan uses. I completely regret buying a 4 spray tan package. What a waste of money.

Even after I politely said "no" multiple times, the sales pitch continued. Every reason I gave for not wanting to purchase anything seemed to be met with another reason why I should, instead of simply respecting my decision. What made me especially uncomfortable was that even when my body was already out the door, the sales pitch still didn't stop. At that point, I just wanted to leave, but I felt like my "no" wasn't being respected. I understand that retail businesses encourage product sales, and I don't mind being offered products. However, there is a big difference between making recommendations and making customers feel pressured. A simple "no, thank you" should be enough. Unfortunately, the aggressive sales approach left me with a negative impression and made me not want to return. But...... I wanted to give a shoutout to Kiley for providing such a great customer experience! She really was the saving grace! She was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable without ever making me feel pressured. She took the time to answer my questions, offered recommendations based on what I was looking for, and respected my decisions without pushing additional products. I visited Dr. Alkadri in February and then March for spider vein laser removal. I'm delayed in…read morewriting a great review, but I guess the wait was beneficial because I feel I've had enough time to really see the full results come through. My spider veins were noticeable on the back of my legs, even with a tan, and at only my mid-30s I felt like my legs looked old. I workout and eat healthy and wanted to show off my hard earned body and yet wearing shorts, skirts or swimsuits left me a little self-conscious. I thought he was going to focus on just the few major problem areas I had behind my thighs, but he did my entire leg (including little veins around my ankles) and I was so happy. I will say, the treatment was uncomfortable, but totally manageable. As in I would utter some curse words and we'd have a good laugh, but then it was all over and there was no lingering pain at all. Some results were immediate and other veins took a few weeks or a few months to fade away...just like Dr. Alkadri told me they would. I happened into her office without an appointment tears in my eyes wearing a heating pad on my shoulder/neck unable to use my arm or my head desperate for help. Dr. Messina immediately took the time to consult with me and we worked out a plan. She thought a combination of cranial sacral therapy and traditional chiropractic adjustments would be the best course of action. We originally scheduled apppointments a couple of times a week and within a short period of time I was feeling significantly better. In two to three months I was feeling great and and have since then. I continue to see Dr. Messina to keep everything align and to stave off any other issues. I wish I had crossed paths with Dr. Messina years ago. She is a miracle worker who has has worked a miracle on my shoulder/neck that no other chripractor, medical doctor, physical therapy, acupuncture or massage was able to resolve.
