Dan and his crew are terrific. I found Dan 10 years ago after another landscaper ripped up my yard and left me stranded. He swooped in and left me with a beautiful patio, firepit, and lush landscaping. Since then I have built a home and hired him and his crew multiple times. Big and small projects, plants, trees, beds, hardscaping, you name it. Always professional, always quality work, always with the mindset of making the customer happy. His crew is courteous and kind. Dan and his crew did a very poor job on our project. In hindsight I should have fired him several times. It seemed like he was in way over his head on our patio and getting him to fix things was a constant battle. He would tell my wife one thing and me another and try to play us against each other. His combativeness made my wife so frustrated she cried several times. I do NOT recommend hiring Gordon's Lawn and Landscape for anything. We paid almost $20,000.00 for our project and ended up with shoddy workmanship and several things that we will have to pay another company to fix. See pics for some examples of their work. read more

We've used Gordon's for two different houses and three projects now. Dan is great to work with throughout the project. During the pre-work bid process he makes recommendations and clarifies the need. Most of the time he provides an estimate on the spot and then follows up quickly with the details. His estimates are spot on and if the crew finds something that impacts the work, they talk to Dan and the owner before moving forward. The crews are on time, polite, professional, and do great work. Dan checks in regularly on progress and does periodic walk throughs with the owner to make sure things are going as planned. To top it off, the prices and rates are good! Five-star rating, for sure, for my front yard make-over by Dan and crew. They put in a three-tiered rock garden that is colorful and so well built. It solves my hillside erosion and decades-long problem of a too-shady front entrance. A backyard French drain also went in to solve a muddy problem there. I have hired Dan on three separate occasions over the past few years. Every time the project was done correctly, on time, on budget and without any hassle. Dan and his team are simply amazing to work with. Although are project wasn't a large landscaping project they still went above and beyond. We had them aerate and verticut our yard this fall before seeding to help fix a few problem areas and it helped tremendously!
