What: Fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, jams, preserves, eggs, cheese, fresh cut flowers, pastas, Uprise Bakery breads, Missouri Legacy beef, and more all grown/raised/baked with love within a 55 mile radius of that very spot. Where: Behind the ARC on the corner of Ash and Clinkscales. Lots of parking, folks. When: Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon. Why: Because you love waking up to the smell of organic breakfast burritos and you deserve a Saturday morning slice of banana bread. Because you bought that canvas tote bag and by golly you want to fill it up. Because you LOVE fresh basil and some Yelper named Chelsea B. said they have the best blackberries she has EVER tasted and you want to try them, too. Because it really is fresh and local, it isn't shipped in on a diesel-fueled truck from Chile, these are nice people doing right by the world, and you want to support it. Well go you.

Millsap Farm, Terrell Creek Farm, London Calling food truck (gotta get those frozen pasties & sausage rolls to take home!) and many more. I appreciate that they're open until 1 PM to give people more time to shop and not have to get up quite so early so many vendors, including fresh meat, eggs, flowers, jewelry, honey, fresh bakery items, Kombucha, tea, coffee, every veggie under the sun, art, Amish goods, etc.

We didn't leave with much because we were traveling, but I had a delicious Gluten Free Salted Caramel Cookie by Pha's Bakery and my husband picked up a small coconut cream pie made by local Amish women. This is a covered market with concrete floors. More of a pavilion feel to it. I would recommend coming hungry as there was a coffee vendor and a couple of others making food on the spot! A nice variety of fresh produce and baked goods, honey, soap, and lots of beautiful mums!! We enjoyed the live music...it definitely made it feel festive. You could walk through in 10-15 minutes if you don't really stop or you could spend time shopping, visiting, eating, and listening to music for an hour or more.

If I absolutely, positively had to make a complaint, it would be that some vendors seem to leave pretty early, so you gotta get there early enough to catch all the vendors. Other than that, it's probably thee best farmer's market in town.

Some of my favorite vendors are: - Slow Rise Donuts - Fox & Bull Bakery - Taqueria (for breakfast burritos) - Parisi Coffee (not inside the market, but nearby) Despite the market's popularity, parking is generally not a problem, even on busy Saturdays. All sorts of craft products. My honey vendor decided to take the day off, as they do frequently, so I missed them and I will return. I grabbed some cheese and bread which my wife and I will enjoy. I got there so late that there wasn't much produce left.

They have a cool grassy (fake) sitting area outside the indoor market. It was so hot last week, so the indoor option is excellent. They also had a couple of food trucks outside serving breakfast and lunch. They have live music and some seating at the market, but you could also bring chairs or a blanket.
