In March of 2025, I hired Southern Boundaries Surveying, located at 1132 Kirk Place Augusta, GA…read more30909, to perform a boundary line survey due to a dispute with an adjacent neighbor. My experience was HORRIFIC! Cameron Austin Lokey was the assigned licensed land surveyor and my POC at all times. Cameron never prepared nor provided me a written contract outlining exactly what services he would be performing, failed to document his work and findings, failed to perform adequate and sufficient research , such as checking property descriptions, prior surveys and court cases involving the property and adjacent neighbors before under taking the survey job. Cameron, also failed to locate the exact measurements of the encroachment(s) between mine and adjacent properties. Prior to the scheduled date for the actual survey Cameron emailed me a "Verification Letter" certifying that the boundary survey was performed. When I asked Cameron for a formal signed survey report he refused. I believe the survey was incomplete, did not adequately address certain features and conditions on the property that i expected would be evaluated as part of the boundary survey. ( a dwelling & sheds). I also became concern about interactions involving a neighboring property owner whose shed encroaches onto my land. I mean the shed sits directly where I planned to create a driveway. I discovered that Cameron engaged in secret communications with the shed encroaching neighbor, as a result of that communication it created a more hostile, unpeaceful, and unsafe environment for me and invited guests. It got so bad I had to make repeated 911 calls for police assistance eventually forcing me to file a warrant application for criminal trespass against the shed encroaching neighbor. Because of Cameron's substandard and incompetent work: ( not being able to provide survey results for the dwelling, no formal signed survey report, and his failure to locate the exact measurements of the encroachments, I paused payment, and notified Cameron of the survey bill dispute in hopes of resolving the matter in Good faith. Instead of Cameron communicating , offering to correct the work and provide me with a signed survey report he contacted Georgia licensed attorney James Christopher Driver of Hull Barrett PC law firm in Augusta, GA, to place a claim of lien on my property in April of 2025. The stamped filed lien amount is for $1250.00 the lien was filed less the 25 days of the substandard work. There was no professionalism, no business etiquette, no discussion of resolution from Cameron Austin Lokey or Southern Boundaries Surveying and no professional standards adhered to. I contested the claim of lien , which then as required by Georgia law forces the party who filed the lien to then file a lawsuit within 60 days , Cameron Austin Lokey and his attorney James Christopher Driver did not file a lawsuit as required by law. Which forces me to believe that the claim of lien was only filed to create pressure, intimidation, harassment and unnecessary distress. I have filed a Complaint against Cameron Austin Lokey with the Georgia Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Board, and for his attorney the Georgia State Bar. I wanted to share with others my experience with Southern Boundaries Surveying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SOUTHERN BOUNDARIES SURVEYING & MAPPING.

Be very cautious of Auben Realty, better yet stay far away! They will make up false charges and refuse to pay back what they owe you. Upon moving out of the apartment it was cleaned and everything left intact as it was when I moved in the year before, minus one of the blinds. I was completely shocked when I received the disposition of itemized charges from my security deposit; specifically a false charge regarding the replacement of missing refrigerator shelves and drawers for $200. I then questioned the false charge and was sent a photo of an old out of date white refrigerator with missing components that was not in the apartment when I moved in or out. I explained to the property manager "Meagan Denson" that the photo she presented was inaccurate and not the refrigerator that was in my apartment. She then asked if I could provide photos of the refrigerator that was in the apartment, which I had no problem providing; along with videos. As the refrigerator that was in the apartment when I moved was stainless steel and definitely not white. Knowing the proof that I provided. How can you still fraudulently charge $200 when you have proof??? I will never conduct business with Auben Realty again and I recommend others do the same or do your research before hand.

I want everyone to know that its only due to loss of disability 'I am united Healthcare' that I am being evicted though there are protections in place for it. But GA is stacked heavily in landlords favor but its not that they won't get the money. Its they don't want to WAIT for it. Some real bastards! .....The eviction process is a tricky one for landlords, particularly when the tenants involved have specific circumstances that may grant them legal protection. One protected demographic is tenants with disabilities. AND Cannot evict you based on disability denial Landlords cannot evict you based on disability denial. They are required to provide reasonable living accommodations for disabled individuals1. It is illegal for a landlord to deny housing or treat someone differently based on their disability2. Now yes, they are entitled to making money but if the loss is LINKED to disability, and it was, until the appeals process is exhausted and it's not a long one, Then the tenant is not in default. I simply do NOT get the laws in this state as a NYer it's STACKED and way behind the 8 ball
