A Chinese business owned store. Good service in total. Pedicure and manicure $85 in total, tips extra. A Young man, staff Ray is new but very patient and good skills in pedicure to his customers. I had my manicure, French style done by Kelly, it was okay and she's too busy to manage. I would recommend manger focus on manage and having someone else to do the nails. Thanks again! Ripped my whole nail off hurts extremely bad and rude some rude workers with attitude problems

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This is the absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to. I have been here two other times and both times I waited AT LEAST an hour to get my nails done. This most recent time, my mom asked for gel, my sister asked for a manicure pedicure, and I asked for a pedicure. My mom sat and finished before either of us had even started. The people next to us had a reservation at 12:30 and was not worked on until 1:45. The woman scrubbed one of my legs for one minute and the other leg for 15 seconds. My sister had the worst experience of the 3 of us - after waiting a full hour before anyone started her services, they rushed an entire manicure pedicure down to 23 minutes FOR BOTH. The filing is crooked, the polish is lumpy and uneven. The cuticles are messy. On top of all of this, we didn't receive one apology for the wait or a thank you for not leaving. This was a waste of money for all 3 of us. read more

I'm absolutely obsessed with this nail salon. I refuse to go anywhere else since the first time I've gotten my nails done there. The staff is super friendly and very talented, the owner was s very knowledgeable and great to talk too. It is absolutely spotless and super sanitary. There is a lovely woman who walks around and gives you massages while you get your nails done. Their spa packages are all super amazing smelling and leave your skin like silk. If you need cool designs, a simple mani pedi or a long extravagant spa day... you should definitely try out this place. You will not regret it. If you like to get your nails done often they have a stamp card that you get a free one after you meet the amount of stamps. So make sure to get one when you go! read more

I have been coming to this salon for years and I love them here. It's always great to support a small local business as well. Usually making an appointment will still have you wait about 15 minutes before starting so I usually just walk in. The girl who does eyelash extensions is so talented and I highly recommend getting lash extensions. It takes over an hour for the application but when you open your eyes you feel like a whole new person! I love it. read more

Been going here for years not the same under the new management got acrylics by new staff and literally had to get them removed a week later (was gonna do it even sooner if time allowed) my nails were bleeding and there was glue all over the back of the acrylic and the whole staff just laughed at the poor guy as he butchered my nails instead of helping. I came back today because my nails were hurting to get them removed and they charged me $15 for a 5 minute removal process when I have never heard of a nail salon doing that especially cause in the past I haven't here. They were also astounded by the glue that filled my acrylic. Never once have written a review and still came back for a pedicure despite the bad acrylics and they fully just took advantage. I just hope this brings some awareness because I was honestly shocked. Sad to say I will never go here again after all these years. read more

Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't let you give ZERO stars! I got SNS done for the first time here and it was the sloppiest job I have ever seen in my life. My cuticles were cut after the powder was done, which left huge spaces without polish on the sides of my nail. My nails were completely glued to my skin and my fingers had the adhesive-like top coat all over. A child could've done a better job. She didn't even make an effort to clean up my nails to make them look somewhat presentable. However, they were very busy and I felt bad to make a big deal out of it, so I didn't complain. Exactly one day later, one of my nails got a huge chip in it. Less than 1 week later, 8 out of 10 of my nails were chipped (2 of which completely fell off). I was very upset about this as I had to go to a really big event with disgusting looking nails. I have never had this happen with gel, let alone SNS powder. I've had done elsewhere prior to moving here and it always lasted minimum 3 weeks! AND NOW FOR THE WORST PART: I went back and showed them my nails and they said they were sorry and could fix it at "no charge no problem". When my nails were done, the owner started running over yelling at me that I needed to pay $35. I explained to her that this was not discussed with me and that I refused to pay. I spoke in a calm and composed manner, but the owner proceeded to make a scene and yell "I decide if you pay or don't pay." She went on to point at a customer who was also getting SNS and said "You see her, how come her nails last. I don't know what kind of person you are that your nails don't last?" After about 15 minutes of this nonsense, I paid for my nails and she threw my change at me. I left stating that I was never going to come back again, to which she replied "I don't care, I don't need you." I have never seen anything more unprofessional and trashy in my entire life. I have worked in the service industry as have many of my family members and this is completely out of line and disturbing. How can you tell a customer that there will be no charge and then switch it up, especially after the job was horrendous and did not last as it was supposed to. I think what really did it for me is the horrible attitude of the owner of the place and her complete disregard for her customers. She was so demeaning and unprofessional. It was very clear that she did not care about her customers who provide her with business that she needs to run the place. I will not be stepping foot in this place ever again. Worst experience ever. Who knew you need to go to the nail salon and pay $35 for SNS powder every week in order to have neat and presentable nails, when SNS is supposed to last 3 weeks minimum?? No thanks! Absolutely ridiculous and trash place. OF NOTE: They dip your fingers directly into the powder container where dozens of others have dipped their fingers in, instead of sprinkling the powder on or using a separate container because they are cheap and want to conserve product at the expense of their customer's health and safety. This is not sanitary and is unacceptable. read more

Not the best manicure and pedicure but when you've been living in Virginia where they charge an arm and a leg for a basic mani and pedi you take what you can get! Came here with my mom and niece. We all got the SNS nails. I got tips with my mom whereas my niece just got regular SNS. It was $65 for the tips and SNS and $35 for regular SNS. The place was absolutely packed. My nails were rushed and as a consequence a couple did come out crooked and she did file my fingers when not looking. The pedicures were $20 and I got the shortest one of all three of us. Also my big toe nails were not made even and were left on a slant. I haven't gotten to do my nails in about 18 months prior to this so I'm ok with it for the most part... Yes could've been better but like I said, deprivation can give a whole new perspective and standard of things. read more

Not incredibly impressed with this salon. Although I didn't have any problems with the staff like some others are writing, I did have a problem with the service. I came here to get a quick gel manicure before work because I had an event that night. They immediately tried to sell me the "powder" which is $5 more, and I heard them do the same to the woman next to me. When she asked the man what the difference between UV and powder was, he said there is none! Powder is just used by people who prefer not to use the UV light. Soooooo why are you trying to charge extra to the people who are clearly asking for UV gel? Anyways, my manicurist was sniffly and kept wiping her nose which was a little uncomfortable. She seemed very spaced out and didn't have any conversation with me. She spent the whole time looking around the salon. She didn't put any cuticle oil on and just started ripping them out dry. Ouch. On top of that, she messed up one nail like 3 times and kept filing it down and filing the skin as well. Again, ouch. She was pretty sloppy and the manicure looks like I did it myself. My step-mom came here for a simple mani pedi and the staff told her it would only be 5 minutes before she would be taken, which was fine. However, after 15 minutes had passed, nobody was helping my step-mom yet (despite helping other walk-ins) and she became frustrated. Despite this, she gave the salon the benefit of the doubt and waited another 8 minutes before finally walking out without ever being helped. This salon isn't anything special to begin with and on a Friday afternoon, no salon should be this negligent. Good service goes a long way, and bad service is not easily forgotten. HORRIFIC FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE!!! It has been over 20yrs since anyone other than my wife has manicured my nails. We are going on holiday next week and wanted to have my nails PROFESSIONALLY done. Reached out to a good friend of mine as he is a regular with Angie at Gorgeous Nails. Called last week and made an appointment for today at 11:30am after seeing patients. When I arrived I quickly realized a) I was the only male customer, b) all heads turned and wondered what I was doing there (both of these I have experienced in manicure salons when I was younger) and 3) Angie was our sick!!!! The owner or manager(?) who barely looked up from her customer to make eye contact with me asked if I would accept someone else. I agreed. During my short wait, I noticed the diversity of customers between older (75+) and younger(14-17yo) experiencing the range of mani-ped pampering. A few of the women were giving shoulder massages to customers and all those receiving manicures received what appeared to be firm hand massages. I was looking forward to being attended to accordingly. About 15min later a woman was told to stop sweeping and do my nails. "Linda" sat at my table and began my manicure. During my wait, I also noticed that ALL of the manicurists had their NYS Licenses proudly displayed next to their tables. Since there was no license on or near my table and it had only a small few tools, I asked if she was licensed. Head still focused on my nails... No eye contact, I receive a non-verbal nod. Linda mechanically goes through each step of the manicure as if a stopwatch was on her. Roughly 20 min later she finishes and simply says, "$15.00". I give her $20 and tell her to keep the change. She did a somewhat adequate job. I asked if that's it and she nods 'yes'. As I leave I noticed ALL of the other customers are getting shoulder and hand massages. I did not. I assumed that cost extra. NOTE: These comments would not have been posted if I simply received a just ok manicure service. HOWEVER, I checked their website and contacted my friend after I left. Instantly learned I did NOT receive the services I was supposed to!!! NOTE: This lack of services rendered alone would not have prompted these comments. I called Gorgeous Nails and spoke to the same lady who told me Angie was out sick. I asked if I was supposed to get those services and her response was, "We are too busy today for everyone to get that. Too busy! Too busy!" No apology. No please come back. Nada. I wonder how she would react if she brought her car across the street and paid for the full service car wash and had her car returned without vacuuming or inside Windows cleaned. Too busy. Horrible! I had made an appointment the same day only about an hour ahead and asked if I could come in at anytime that worked for them. I said what about around 5:30ish and they said okay. I arrived 10 minutes late at 5:40 on the dot and was laughed at as soon as i walked in. Then was told it was too late and to come back tomorrow. I would have appreciated being told they were too busy before I drove all the way to the salon and was laughed at. Extremely rude and I had been a returning customer for a few months! Yet i already had reviews they're price booklet.. when I asked her again regarding pricing she got loud and very rood.. was yelling at me in the middle of the shop.. then finally adjusted the price she tried to over charge me.. This is one of the worst nails salons my family and I have been to. We waited about 45 min for our pedicures to even start. Once it did, the cutting of my cuticles was painful and they left polish on my skin. After this was over they sat me in a chair to get my powder nails done. I waited another 45 min for someone to come over and even speak to me again. The powder was rushed and they didn't cut my cuticles. When we said something about the long wait and how others who came in after us were being taken and helped first, they said it was because they were a person short and the others had appointments. This wasn't true because we watched most people come in as walk ins like us. The manager of the place was very rude and had an unpleasant attitude with not just us, but another customer. It should not take 2 1/2 hours for your nails to be done. We plan on never going back. read more

I was very disappointed with this place. When I asked for round nails she gave me ovals, and when I asked her to fix them she got angry and filed away my nail. My nails are so short now and I'm so upset. Then she kept leaving me there in the middle of my gel application to clean or assist other costumers. She LITERALLY started doing another costumers manicure. I felt so rushed and irritated. Finally when she was massaging me she dug her nails into my hands. Not fun. This place is very professional, clean and seriously create gorgeous nails! My go to is usually the SNS powder which has grown my nails very healthy due to the excellent formula. I typically always receive a great massage during my visits which really helps remove any stubborn knots in my neck. I walk in for a mani/pedi with my daughter. 1st lady started me, 2nd lady finished my manicure. 3rd lady started my daughters pedicure. Then another lady walks me to pedicure chair started my pedi then half way takes off and 4th lady comes in to finish. Hope you all are following . After playing musical chairs with these women... I went to pay. I gave my last lady a tip and my daughters lady a tip and as I was going to go give the other 2 a smaller tip (because they were too many working on my services). As I'm heading over my main lady stops me to say you owe the other 2 a tip too (which I would've proceed) But my daughter was fed up with their attitudes and walks out with my purse. My daughter and I we are so pissed they forced a tip from us. I mean I no longer had my bag (thanks to my daughter lol) so I had no choice but to walk out. But the nerve of these people!! Do not recommend going there and if you do make sure you bring enough tip money lol!! My daughter also noticed that they pushed the massage last around on her and also another note the manager/ owner was screaming at EVERYONEEEEEEE!!! Arrived with my sister-in-law as walk-ins for two pedicures. All pedicure chairs were full- no problem. "Pick your color", she says. We pick our colors and have to stand around for 10-15 minutes because they only have one couch for those who are waiting. People on the couch get taken for service so we move to the couch. We proceeded to wait for 45 minutes and the funny thing was, it didn't seem like people were moving out of the pedicure chairs. The few that were finished were replaced by people who walked in after us but apparently were told earlier to come back. Why weren't we told that? If we were told the wait would be nearly an hour when we walked in, we would have walked out. But no! They proceeded to have us sit there for 45 minutes while they took other people. When my sister in law asked, the lady who we could only assume was owner or owner's wife was really nasty to my sister in law. At that point, we had enough and left. This is a small town with few nail places so apparently the staff/management feels that it's okay to be nasty to their customers since there's no where else to go. My friend and I had our appointment scheduled for 3, we showed up 10 minutes early and they still didn't start us until 3:20. My friend was there for a pedicure and acrylics, and not even 5 minutes into her acrylic set, right after the lady had put the tips on and was trimming them, my friend respectably said that she had cut one of them too short for her liking and if she could quickly redo it since they hadn't even put any powder or polish on, and the lady started slamming things and saying we had to get out and that she couldn't deal with my friend, that she couldn't deal with her and to pay for the pedicure and to get out. She said there was no one else there who could finish her nails, so my friend had to leave with a half finished acrylic set the day before our prom. Have been going here for a few years on and off- Kim is rude every time I go in. This last time was the end of my business. I had asked for a green tea pedicure. She cut me and started to bleed- she did not acknowledge, and just put a bag over my foot and put into the water. I was then passed off to another staff member.
