At this point, though, I'm finding it difficult to justify continuing to go somewhere when I can't be confident that I'll receive the quality of service I'm expecting or even the person I booked with. I went on gift certificate for my birthday. Place was cute for a facial not my usual spot for one . Figured ok let's try and was a nice gift. The woman who did my facial was great! I would recommend her. Personable, knows about skin, and overall a nice woman ( Joanna). However, the nail tech was nasty , rude , felt rushed and looked like she couldn't be bothered! I get a better manicure and pedicure at my regular nail place. First off, they put your feet in a thing that looks like a sink. No bubbles, no lotion, not even the blue stuff they put in the water. I was like this would be $30? Get real! She need a bad job , guess goes with attitude. Next, on to the manicure. Again, no soaking of hands in water bowl? No lotion. She was like " Have you ever had this color before ( FIJI) ? I'm like what? Then she proceeds with "are you ok with this streak before we move on" I'm like fix it but I'm like whatever. Uneven nails, horrible job. Just put my hands under a dryer and nothing for feet. I bought the basic mani/ pedicure package but in a nail salon you get more , seriously! I am not here to insult this woman I know it's not easy working with the public. But when I spend over $150 don't give and attitude and make me feel like you couldn't be bothered. I had an appointment for 10:15am and i thought it was at 10:45 (yes even after all the amazing reminders via email and text i managed to mess up the times). I used to love coming here. I would get dip powder nails and it would last 3 weeks, I would get gel and would also last about the same. Now? The last time I got dip it chipped the first week- I gave them a try again but this time I got gel and the top of my thumb nail completely chipped off THE NEXT DAY They have a new girl working there who's also extremely rude. My mom has nerve damage on her toe so she was telling the nail tech not to cut her cuticles too low and the girl goes "do you want to do it yourself?" Uhhh no? That's why we come and pay for a service, to support YOUR business. If my nails continued to last long but the customer service was bad that's one thing. I asked to keep them round, she made them square at first and when I kindly corrected her she was angry and furiously made them round but most of them are not fully round, they're jagged. Came here for a pedicure a while back because I work in the area. My toes could have looked better, but it was a good massage & the place seemed ok. The manager convinced me to come back for an SNS as I was contemplating it & wasn't happy with my old acrylics. I did & within a few days, four of my nails cracked (not the nail underneath, the actual SNS). They fixed them for free but blamed it on my nails being too thin. Before the two weeks was up, every single nail had cracked down the middle & some even started to crack below the top of my nail bed. Thankfully I found a place closer to home. I came here because I was a regular at their sister salon in elmsford Nail Spa. My girl Emily is working here now and I had to go see her. (I know im going to regret writing this because now everybody is going to want to go to her) Small sacrifices im willing to make Anyways im writing about the salon itself not the work they do because if you have been to nail spa you know that their technicians are top notch and really give you great treatment and your nails are always on point. This new spot is so clean, everything is brand new, they have air purifiers at each desk so your not breathing in any dust or particles. They have regular polish, gel and my go to and favorite SNS. They will be getting more colors and chrome and cat eye but since they just opened they are taking baby steps, cant be mad at them for that. I just want to say if your in the area or out of the area GO HERE! They do awesome work, are very personable and are reasonably priced as far as the work goes. I was highly disappointed that after recommending this nail salon to my mother and sister, they did not have the experience I have had in the past. I booked the appointment for both of them 2 weeks in advance, yet once they got to the salon, my mom was not paired with the person i had booked her with which was Shyanne, instead she was paired with Peter. When my mom tried to tell them that she had an appointment with shyanne and not peter, they simple ignored her request and said that it did not matter and that peter was the one available. This is the second time that our appointments are changed to a different individual at the last minute. What is the purpose of booking weeks in advance if at the last minute someone else will be doing your nails? If we book an appointment with a certain individual is because we want that person to do our nails, not whoever else is available. As per the salon's cancellation policy, the customer is required to give advance noticed of a cancellation and is required to pay full price if they don't give notice 24 hrs in advance, yet the salon has no issues cancelling your appointment with the individual you booked it with, with no anticipated notice. Furthermore, my mother was highly disappointed with the lack of care and effort made by Peter. Aside from hurting her while removing her sns nailpolish, He didn't even bother to clean the dust residue from her removal. Upon leaving the salon, her hands and nails looked worse than when she arrived. It is highly disappointing and a disservice to the salon since there are so many other individuals in the salon who work so well and really dedicate their time and effort to their job such as kelly, shayenne, angela and Kristy. I really hope that no one else experiences this, Polish'D Nail is a great nail salon but all of its employees should work with the same professional standards. Horrible sever for me! Went there 4 times and each time was a nightmare! Done not going back!

Can't review other services, just hair.. mainly extensions. Highly avoid them here unless you are happy with bad service. I've had them before so I'm familiar with their care. Had them put in before the holidays. Withing a week, they were peeling, shedding and falling out. Texted and got runaround. Told her to just take them out, my hair was so patchy and i had places to go for Christmas. I was told she "is too busy". Ended up, she told me the extensions were inferior and the manufacturer was replacing them extensions for free. When I had them put in, I asked if a was getting a discount for the install. Was told, "no, why should i lose money". Yet, it was okay for me to pay? Since I had to remove these myself, my hair was full of adhesive. I used olive oil to remove it. I should have researched it. Needless to say, my hair was greasy for weeks and I lost alot of my own hair. But in January, she let me know she had openings. read more

This salon is small, VERY clean, very friendly. And the massage chairs work so you can enjoy your pedicure even more. Excellent and professional results. This sucks. I got my nails done on June 16 and went in the store at 5:00 PM. I came out at seven with bloody cuticles, chipped nails, burning fingertips and fear that the acrylic nails could seriously hurt my health if I did not get SNS powder. The woman working on my nails called me beautiful and said that if I got acrylics and not SNS powder It could seriously change my looks. I come here for my nails and see Lynn, although she wasn't in today and I had to use someone else and what a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I pointed out something I noticed needed to be fixed and he shoved his hand in my face and said ok ok I was taken back by that and felt very uncomfortable he proceeds to do my nails as I found another mistake and he did it again I got so upset I said something don't treat people that way. It's very disrespectful and than they all started speaking Chinese and it made me more uncomfortable that I actually shouted speak English if your gonna speak about me. One guy came running out to try to stop me from writing a review and I left it alone but it really bothered me bc I went back twice to have them fixed and they just kept breaking. I've been coming here since they've opened and absolutely love this place. The spa atmosphere is not comparable to any salon in the area. They're extremely clean, sterilized tools and not even a smell of any nail product at all. What I love is that there are air purification/ filtration machine at every desk so there isn't any nail dust that is flying everywhere. Zero regards for clients and their time whatsoever. If you make an appointment here and your nail tech is Christy Lin then I hope God is with you, because you sure are gonna be waiting a long time. My appointment was set for 1:15. I arrive at exactly 1:16 PM, come to find out, unbeknownst to me, that my appointment time was switched to 1:30. Okay not a problem i can wait. But then an hour goes by, then an hour and a half and I AM STILL seated and waiting to be seen. Super unprofessional, rude, and NO regard to clients time whatsoever. The one star is because my gel tips do last however I have had a few issues with this place. First off, I had the worst pedicure I have ever received. The polish was done horribly that it peeled two days later and I do not recall her ever putting on a top coat... she also picked at my toe nails so bad that they bled. She told me my toes would be sore. I think she was trying to remove what she thought was ingrown toenails. But they weren't and didn't hurt in the first place. That was almost 5 weeks ago and my toe nails still hurt today. Secondly, they charge you $5 just to file your nails in the shape that they already are. So when I get a fill I get charged an extra $5 just to file them and refresh the shape. Why not just put this into the total price? Everything was clean and the ambience was very spa like in comparison to other places which is why I'm giving it 2 stars, however I didn't like how the woman doing my nails was staring at my face the entire time.... ummm... can I help u??? Brand new, updated, clean and calming environment with spa music and great service. No wait and easy parking. Prices are reasonable. Milk and honey pedicure is $55, which is less than competitors across the street or in Mt. Kisco, and included 20 min massage and callous removal. Those are usually extra at other places. New pedicure machines and they put a single-use plastic liners inside. They also have SNS powder which I will be coming back for! All the typical polishes: Essie, OPI and gel colors. No harsh smell like another newly opened salon. Plus it was nice to see air purifiers running as well. read more
