My natural…read morenails are long so I just wanted them filed even but my tech wouldn't cut or file them for some reason? she just evened out the one short nail i had with the same nail one the other hand so i had two weirdly short nails. a huge reason i want my nails done is to shape and file them because i don't like doing it myself and i didn't even get that. my cuticles were cut a tad too short as well but otherwise okay. i wish i didn't have to fight to get what i want every time i get my nails done. i gave up trying to get what i wanted after the third time i said something.

Also, the lady that did my mother's nails was rushing so much during a luxury pedicure, that she was on her third client just as my technician was finishing my nails. My tech's name was Stephanie and she was pretty professional. I definitely recommend her. Our regular place only has one tech at the moment and we like having our nails done together. When we complained, the owner just stood there and said he had no idea what we were talking about. It's not the kind of place we normally frequent so maybe it's that. We won't be returning. The luxury pedicure was also pretty bare bones. But based on what people were getting around us, maybe it's not a commonly ordered treatment.

I cannot believe they would treat their old clients this way. The owner said, she didn't care about what I had to say and she'd only support the people that work for her and take their word over any customer. While I was there, I was able to book a facial for 2 days later on a Saturday. Melissa was an angel. Her touch was fluid & gentle & warm. I've had facials in San Francisco & Las Vegas before , but she raised the bar on those. She truly has a gift & I highly recommend her. I'm from California, but if I lived here, I'd be in here every month.

Overall a good experience with a couple of minor issues…read more One, I got here at 2:15 on a weekday. There was only one person getting a manicure and the salon was quiet. Guy at front grabs the gel color swatches and hands to me then directs me to a pedicure chair in the back. I have never been here before so the process was new. A cute older lady was setting up the chair for me and did most of the pedicure treatment. She didn't seem to speak much English but pointed to the pedicure price menu. She also showed me the volcano pedi menu hoo wee that would be a real treat for a special occasion but too rich for my blood. I had gel that needed to be removed and I get it that it is a bit time consuming. But daaaang the pedicure and mani took FOREVER. I appreciate a nail place taking time to have attention to detail and not rushing but this was a very long mani pedi. When the polish was removed the guy from the front took over. He smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke it was a bit of a turnoff. He did however make sure I was happy with the selection of gel color and explained that the confetti gel was clear. And that I might want a solid color under it so I chose white. It was a good choice and I am very happy with the gel color. He also shaped my fingernails very nicely. The color was applied very carefully and I have had a lot of compliments. What wasn't that great in the visit besides the long a$$ time was he cut me a few times with a very sharp tool. Near the end of the pedi he pressed down on the cut with a towel and said he has cut me and will put medicine on it. He put some white cream on the cut. The lady had also nicked me, which was disappointing. The other not so great thing was at the end when I was paying. I gave the guy a cash tip and paid for the service on a card. I was getting my keys out to leave and the guy asked if I wanted him to split the tip with the lady? What? Is that a passive aggressive way to say I needed to give another tip to the lady as well? It was a bit rude and a turnoff. Overall the gel was very nice but such a long time to get done especially when I was the only customer there most of the time.

They never make you feel rushed, take the time to give you the pedicure you deserve and are so kind. A Galaxy pedicure is one of my favorite ways to treat myself!
