They…read morewere all very knowledgeable and forthright about the pros and cons of the kayaks they sell, and I ultimately reserved one for delivery several months later. Unprompted, they proactively contacted me a week ahead of the delivery date to make final arrangements, offered to prepare the kayak with the accessories I bought (no charge), and then delivered it at exactly the time and (hard to find and reach) location we agreed on. That's when Chris went way above and beyond, spending at least an hour going over everything with me, and helping carry the kayak and gear from our driveway to the water (two round trips of over 900 ft each way). I did not explain or ask for any of that in advance, nor was there any extra charge. Just that good old fashioned "let me help" attitude so rare these days. A great buying experience from start to finish -- and the kayak is fantastic, too.

Sasha helped me and she was great, making sure everything worked for my body and my needs. I also brought in my daughter's stuff because we had problems with the boots and bindings (marketplace purchase because we weren't sure she'd stick with it). I expected to have to buy new bindings. They didn't sell me anything that I didn't need and they shared all of their experience to help us solve the problem. I am SO thankful for everything they shared, there is no way we'd have reached that point on our own. We worked with Travis and Matt who were really awesome. I definitely recommend coming here if you have any issues or unique needs, or if you need a new setup or are a beginner. Also, stop in just for your regular stuff! They have a huge selection of all of the layers and accessories. Obviously there are expensive things, but it isn't an uncomfortable sales environment at all.

But they're the only show in town, and what can you do right? Well, today was the last straw. I was literally the only customer in the store. Not only did nobody ask me if I need it any assistance, but while I was browsing in the children's section, one of their technicians walked by me, kicked me in the shins, bumped me into the clothing rack and didn't apologize or say excuse me. He didn't even acknowledge that I was there. It's bad enough that most ski bums are drunk or high while they're working, in addition to being allergic to basic customer service. It's even worse when they assault you while they're ignoring you. I will never, ever ever ever set foot in an Arlberg again.

The prices were fair -- we paid $130 for everything (including new cables and some other things), and the bike was working perfectly. It felt like a new bike! Excellent customer service, too.
