Unprompted, they proactively contacted me a week ahead of the delivery date to make final arrangements, offered to prepare the kayak with the accessories I bought (no charge), and then delivered it at exactly the time and (hard to find and reach) location we agreed on. That's when Chris went way above and beyond, spending at least an hour going over everything with me, and helping carry the kayak and gear from our driveway to the water (two round trips of over 900 ft each way). I did not explain or ask for any of that in advance, nor was there any extra charge. Just that good old fashioned "let me help" attitude so rare these days. A great buying experience from start to finish -- and the kayak is fantastic, too.

The prices on the items are normal retail prices and each rack will have the percentage off above it. Most of the clothes are 30% off the retail prices. If you look, you may find a rack with 50% off or more and they have specials on items they are looking to move. We have the LLBean MasterCard so we have points and can use the points at the store. While I'm a proud owner of their heavy-duty canvas totes for the last umpteen years (I own 2 large ones), the clothes not so much. L.L. women's clothes aren't my style- and not to say anything wrong about it, but the clothes are more for a certain crowd. There are those duck boots and small wooden furniture on the floor also for sale. But I finally got my hands on a white-grey cotton sheet set and a down grey comforter that I've been wanting. As the cashier scans your items, you'll notice their original, jacked-up prices- so don't let it spook you the way it did to me as discounts are applied at the end.
