Anyway, I am stunned to read the other reviewer, since her experience could not be more diametrically opposed to the positive interactions I have had with Dr. Youssef's office staff. I was even there within the past month, though it had been more than a year since my previous visit. It's possible they had some subpar staffers there, and they're now gone. Still, I was never treated with anything but courtesy. It is true that it can take a while to be seen -- she seems to book at least a couple months out -- but I have never had a problem getting in when things seem somewhat exigent.

Was not happy with my experience with Dr. Liu. I have PCOS and when I went to the "highly…read morerecommended" endocrinologist in my area, I was not happy with what I got. The wait for her to come into the room was a good hour. When we finally met her she seemed very distant and not concerned with what I was trying to say. She said all my problems would be fixed if I stayed on Jenny Craig (not cheap!) and went on birth control. I have excess hair growth due to testosterone levels double what they should be. I told her that I had been getting electrolysis done for about five months, with no sign of a decrease in hair. She didn't even look to see the areas of growth! I had read up on this disease before my appointment and most people with the same symptoms as me were prescribed metformin or spironolactone (on regulates sugar levels and weight loss and the other regulates hair growth) along with a form of birth control to regulate my cycle and my hormones. She told me I was too young to be on any meds (20 y.o.) but yet this condition could lead to infertility! I understand weight loss helps significantly but I was on Jenny paying hundreds of dollars a week with little progress. You can't loose weight when the chemical compositions in your body are programming it to hold onto the sugars and turn it to fat! She then sent me down for blood work at noon when by that time I had obviously already had breakfast and coffee. The receptionist down at the blood work center downstairs was just the icing on the cake for my awful experience. As he rolled his eyes at me and looked at me as if I had seven heads for thinking I could get blood work done after eating, when I was only listening to the doctors instructions. Both my mother and I left in an awful mood and immediately started looking for another doctor for a second opinion. Anyone else with similar problems go to Michael Gordon MD at Beverly hospital in Danvers. Although I had to wait 6 months for an appointment, it was worth the wait because he is the BEST. Helped me with all my needs, looked at the hair growth, scheduled proper blood work, and put me on the needed prescriptions. He couldn't believe the advice dr. Liu had given me.

It was very difficult for me to contact and get through to this office. Then 08/13/25 we had virtual exam and went over all medications during I informed him I was almost out of 2 real heavy narcotics. I continue to message almost every other day reminding them today 8/21/25 was the last. They did absolutely nothing for me didn't communicate informing me health insurance would not cover no talks of existing count to begin taper and no talks of alternatives. They left a 52 yo crippled guy to get off 75mg Oxycontin with no taper. And sadly I've been on phone all day and finally got through to a nurse who confirmed she sent order in for a one of my medications #30 count of Oxycontin which I choose to pay for for my well-being so I can probably taper down without major complications and when I called my pharmacy they never received anything. This hospital and especially this team should be reported to DPPC for neglect and sadly lieing.This is such an embarrassment to disabled people.

First they lost my medical records when they got there.. it took me 2 weeks to get in for my daughters excema flare up ..then my daughter got bit by a tick I was calling for 2 days for an appointment ended up taking her to urgent care..it was always something no one did any work there, even to refill a script it took 4 days just to talk to someone I couldn't understand.. I tried to schedule a school physical for my daughter for 2 days again with no call back and when I finally got someone one on the phone they said not till October even after I stated my daughter will not be able to start school until she has one they said that's all we got .I was upset and asked that the doctor or office manger to call me back.Then I got a call from a NP stating I'm rude to his staff and that cant happen but not returning pt calls and having his staff schedule months out even if its important like starting school can happen ..ok I get it we pay idots to run your pts out.. This happens all the time you can never get someone on the phone and when you do they dont speak English!! I am Porto Rican and still couldn't understand them ever but I did always feel the rudeness and them just hating there job.. office manager same not the brightest star!! Nonenglish speaking as well..
