Lab work was to have been faxed to Lowell General Emergency Room-never sent it resulting in duplicate tests and blood work.

This is a real, raw and honest review. My grandmother of 71-years old recently passed away JUST…read morelast night after battling a tough 6-month journey of leukemia. As her grandson, I would take her very often to her appointments with Dr. Muto for varicose veins in the legs. One procedure after the next, my grandmother would consistently complain about the horrific pain she would feel on both legs - weeks, even months after the procedures were done. The pain she would feel was not normal, so we would go back into the office to get it checked out and Dr. Muto would always come back with the same response, "this is normal and expected - pain and swelling can last up to 6-8 weeks, especially in older people". Her veins were blown inside and her legs were hard as ROCKS + incredibly swollen. Her veins being blown, of course, lead to a large amount of bruising on not only the insides, but the outside of her legs - her legs didn't look the same. It was heartbreaking to see her go through this much pain because once she was diagnosed with leukemia, it was clear that because of the cancer, she was not healing properly. We understand that Dr. Muto specializes in veins. However, if Dr. Muto paid more attention to detail from the beginning - as any wise/GREAT physician should and would have even though they're not 'specialized' in that area.. even mid-way through her treatment and constant return to her office due to the pain, my grandmother would have gotten the proper care and testing done much sooner - and, quite possibly, would still be here with us today. I will NEVER go back to this woman to be seen, will not recommend anybody here.. nor do I advise ANYBODY to trust this woman's diagnoses and 'expertise'. It's a shame!! It's clear that this sick woman is in this field for the $$$$ after doing research in her and reading many reviews. PLEASE be your own advocate when it comes to your health and ALWAYS get a second opinion..

Ann greeted me at front desk of MRI and reviewed my name address DOB address contact person area of body needing MRI and printed out my prescreening which I did the night before. Pam, one of the techs brought me back to a little room with 3 chairs including a wider one to accommodate larger body types to introduce herself and review each screening question. From there I was instructed to change into hospital scrubs leaving only underpants and socks and my shoes (my choice as they don't offered hospital socks. From there you are brought into the room with MRI machine where you leave your shoes, eyeglasses and locker key with staff. Pam and Jennifer talked me through everything going on and it was a pleasant experience. The check in said they would send a note to the lab staff of what I was wearing and my level of deafness. They come out quickly wearing masks, call names which I can't tell the names called. As I try to get their attention, they quicky turn , walk away. I do everything to help myself, I sit near the door facing them, I read lips( impossible with masks). After long wait time seeing others that came after me go in, I twice was able to finally get one's attention, and find that yes my name had been called earlier. I go again today for tests, just don't know what to do.
