Awful business owner Julian and lead inspector Daniel. Being a disabled veteran myself, I chose…read morethis business because it is veteran owned and operated but they simply hide behind this to mask their inexperience and poor business ethics. With 20 minutes of the inspector beginning he had fell/stepped through the ceiling of the house we are waiting to close on. Tried to make good on it by running out and buying supplies to fix it but after stating they needed to use their insurance to hire an actual professional they refused. The work looked suspect from the one photo they sent. Instead the owner became combative with my realtor over insuring an adequate fix and was told they owed us, the buyers, nothing since they had given us our home inspection report and our contract was closed. However, also not true. We had not received our report, over 24 hours later after Julian the owner lied to our realtor that we had received our report the day before which was either a bold face lie or misrepresentation of facts. We the buyers had to point out multiple things the inspector missed due to laziness or inexperience and then lied when confronted. It's been 2 days now and they won't return my call to include the missed items into their inspection. Shortly said, stay very far away from this company!!

We had an awful experience with this company - and now they are trying to get us to sign an NDA…read morereleasing them of liability to avoid bad press. Justin installed our radon stack on the only livable area of the exterior of our home, on the patio right in between the door and the kitchen window. To say it's an eyesore would be an understatement. When questioned about the placement, Justin was extremely condescending, patronizing, rude, dismissive, insensitive, and invalidating. After a very heated discussion his pride still didn't allow him to apologize or acknowledge he'd done anything that could be perceived as unsavory. There was a better location it could have been placed, where it wouldn't have impeded outdoor living/entertainment, but he made the decision without calling us to check which location we would prefer - though he had no qualms calling for a credit card number for payment. Because of the clearly awful placement (we checked with several professionals who agreed this was a terrible placement decision), we requested a 50% refund. It took 3 weeks of us following up regularly for Justin to finally get us the "paperwork" he was waiting on to process the refund... turns out the "paperwork" is a Non-Disclosure Agreement that would allow them to sue us if we spoke about our awful experience, and release them of liability should something go wrong with the radon mitigation equipment... The fact that Justin was ready to try to legally silence us instead of just accepting and acknowledging he made a mistake, providing a partial refund, and moving on, tells us this may not be an uncommon occurrence. The fact that he's trying to release himself from liability makes us question the integrity and quality of the work. We do not feel right about this extremely shady practice and are forgoing the refund, not signing anything, and instead will let others know so they don't end up in the same situation.

Justin said yes, but they had to pick up some supplies in Glen Carbon and then were on their way. They didn't show up until 10:30am!!! So, an hour after the appt. time?! No apology either. They didn't wear shoe covers. I asked if they needed me to move anything....they moved it and didn't move it back or tell me they moved it. They pulled back carpeting and didn't put it back or tell me when I could put it back. They left lots of items: concrete pieces on the floor, glue and plastic shavings on the shelves and boxes, a wrapper to something they used, a piece of wood out in the road where they parked, ear buds on the air conditioner and a battery charger plugged in the back yard, which they came to get the next day w/out calling to let me know!!! They didn't go over how the system worked so that we would know IF it is working properly. The sump pump is now completely sealed, it wasn't before. I feel like he should have explained this to us and why this was ok and/or necessary. All we have is a piece of paper stating we have a 5 year warranty on the mitigation system. I would like to have more info on it. We got a check from buying our house and it was $20 over the amount quoted, but they didn't give us the difference. I realize it was just $20, but..... We expected more when we visited their website and spoke to them on the phone.
