My husband and I saw her for couples counseling. She may have been a good therapist back in the…read moreday, but she is pretty scatterbrained now. She kept repeating the same questions, and even when my husband and I would try to answer, she would cut us off and repeat the question again. She worked out of a manual and did not try to actually connect with either one of or understand our dynamic. She oversimplified major issues, by saying things that implied "it's not the past anymore so get over it". When I finally told her "this isn't a good fit for us", she didn't seem to want to accept it and kept talking. She also kept forgetting things (like my name), within a few minutes of us telling her something. To top it all off, she had the door to her "classroom" wide open, and her grandson was sitting 20 feet away in the waiting area. Oh, and her dog kept distracting her too. At least the dog was cute.
