I was surprised to read the reviews, as I had a great experience with the staff and the Dr. Yukevich. Although they couldn't get me in right away, I was called with a cancellation the next day (that I was unable to make it to). When it was time for my appointment, I was brought to a room right on time and received excellent care. I was delighted not to have to go to the ER and wait all day:) Thanks Dr. Yukevich and staff!

If you are lucky, your appointment will be scheduled within a week, but the waiting is as bad as walk-in as it is. There will be normally 4-8 people in a tiny bedroom size waiting room then 3 female staff, working behind the desk, often ignoring your arrivals. They are annoying at times. The real problem is, the receptionist, Cassandra?, seems to be always blocking any urgent attention from either the doctor or a nurse, either for a refill request, or an urgent inquiry. It appears that Dr. Gerry Yukevich and a nurse practitioner Darcy put this hardball females to restrict/maintain their tight schedules at the patients' cost. This receptionist, over the years, have often been lying, bullying, rude in her nature, and seems to be in permanently erratic state with shaky voices and frowns. Even the Doctor suggested calling his cell phone number to avoid this unnecessary instigation she raises with the patients if not threatening them. I once went there as a walk-in patient for some anti-biotics, and after 3 days of refill, the symptom didn't die out, but could not get in touch with the doctor, after 4 voice mails left over the next 2 days. And, after more numerous calls, I had to deal with the receptionist mentioned above. And, when I complained a bit of the never returned calls and when I continue to explain the medical situation, she hung up once. I thought it was disconnected and called again, then, she hung up again. When I arrived the clinic to confront her rude behavior, she lied hanging up the phone twice in front of other staff and also said there was no voice mails received, although she had admitted hearing my messages in the prior phone conversation. And, the rest of the staff acted like Bullies. The old doctor might be always a happy one, but, avoid the female staff working there, if this is the only clinic you have to go to. Otherwise, I would suggest MV hospital to save your time and there care is 3-5 times better(Faster and Nicer) with the pleasant manners. For the crowded and 2-6 hour waiting as a walk-in patient, and for many frustrating incidents with the receptionist and others as a PCP patient, I would give -1 star, And, for inconsistent and inattentive Old Doctor's schedule and too many absences, I would give his rating 2. Finally, while MV hospital doctors are all popular with long waiting, this place has plenty of opening. That tells something. When I spend hundreds of dollars for my med. insurance, I will never go to this place to be treated like a dummy by arrogant staff there.

She is 81yo with a serious health condition. She just needed help to get to the bathroom. I called the hospital was transferred to turner 4 and spoke to whoever answered the phone. I explained what the situation was, I asked if someone can fix my aunts call button. They asked who the patient was, and I told them. The woman said, "oh the light is blinking, it's working. We have a full floor and it's been busy"... I didn't want to lose it on the phone so I simply said she needs assistance getting to the bathroom. I think that crap excuse on the phone made me realize they are not hiring professionals any longer. Nursing and customer service has taken a real nose dive in the past decade or so. I wonder how many older patience are laying in urine and feces because staffing is too busy to check on them in an appropriate amount of time! I hope my aunt doesn't push the call button and it be a life and death. Nothing but negligence in that hospital. Have the ambulance take you to Miriam. They really look after you.

Went through the ER, received excellent care from the moment that I entered (on my own, no ambulance.) The staff was professional, informative, concerned, and courteous. In addition, their attitude and good humor put me immediately at ease. After an hour in the ER, I was led to another room where I was questioned about the pain, the injury, my insurance info, and my previous medical history. After, I returned to the waiting room. A short time later, I was brought in for Xrays, and brought to another smaller rom for more questions about how I felt, if I was faint or confused, and how the pain was. After this I was brought to a curtained off area for more questions, blood tests, visitations by hospital staff, and consultations with ER Doctors and nurses. All extremely courteous and polite and helpful once again. A short while later, I asked if one of the staff might inform my wife (in the ER waiting room) of what was happening and let her know that all was good. Rather than that, they brought her to me so that I would have comfort and company while everything progressed. After a couple of hours, after my records and Xray and such were discussed and evaluated, a REALLY great ER Doctor came in to clean and stitch my finger and help make arrangements for me to have an appointment with a hand surgeon within the next few days. That appointment led to surgery at the same hospital just a few days later. A three and a half hour surgery resulted in a pin being inserted and a nice straight finger with all of the "hamburger" stitched up nice and tidy. The Pre-Op and Post-Op staff were just sensational, the surgery team and Doctor were superb ! All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience or treatment from start to finish ! ! ! !
