I visited in early December 2024 while visiting my son. The place is very clean, the chandlers give it a nice touch. Overall, it's aesthetically pleasing. They offer beverages and a variety of manicures and pedicures. I was greeted and immediately sat in the pedicure section. The massage chair. The tech did a good job and was attentive. Once the pedicure was done, we relocated to the nail station with the same tech. I'm very peculiar with how I like my nails shaped, she was on point. It's my Sissy ( Sister) 52nd birthday!!! I called Gossip for a last-minute appointment for the four of us. We arrived 25 late, and they still were able to see us. It is a modern Design, and I'm in love with the light fixtures throughout. Our Mother got a manicure, and we got pedicures. Just classic. The water was cool but eventually warmed up. However, my oldest sister wanted a Green Tea / Mint Pedicure. I wanted a Voesh Deluxe pedicure. The nail tech started all three bowls at once. My water stayed cool. My sister's water was hot. I quickly changed to the cheapest pedi because nothing was relaxing about it. It took longer for my nails to dry than the exact service time. Back in the day, what I had done will have been considered a toe-polished change. Gossip Nails could at least offer a fan to dry regular nail polish. I will come back on a slower day. read more

All seem nice inside and place is clean but this was the fastest I have ever had dip taken off and reapplied, 30 mins. Which tells me he didn't do a good job and low and behold he did not. He only applied two layers of dip and did not smooth down the tops or around my cuticle barely at all. Two of my nails are already broken and they are all peeling, the top coat. They have been on less than a week. I was also charged to have my previous dip taken off when I have never been charged for that at other salons. I will not be returning. So hard to find a decent salon around here. read more

Let me start off by saying, I went to school to be a nail Technician when I was in my 20's. While products and process change... service and lack of follow through and charging through the roof do not. For $150 I absolutely should not have to come home and reshape my hands and push back and clip my cuticles. Nor should I have to put my own lotion on. My pedicure was mediocre.. the tech kept hitting the uv curing light on my toes .. so that showed. But ok I get it everyone has their moments, But the hack job done on my hands was too far. Le was completely checked out, until we sat down to overlay my nails. He was slightly kinder but I've never been in and out from virgin nails toes and hands in under and hour before. The salon is clean , and they offer drinks. But the clear arguing among the staff and just petty along with the poor job just leaves me wondering what happened to finding an amazing salon with an amazing tech who I could make appointments with??? I leave on vacation in the morning and I have to clean my hands up again before I leave. Bummer .. read more

This is the BEST nail salon in Mo Co. I received a gift certificate as a birthday gift to Gossip Nails. I had gel polish mani and pedi. Was done in early September and still on my toe nails looking fresh. The mani didn't last as long since I used my hand alot decorating for my class Reunion. Very nice place. Very clean. As I am disabled and had done some shopping in a scooter in Publix prior to my appt, the man in charge allowed me to drive the scooter in and park it close to where I sat. The lady that did my nails offered me some wine and I accepted. That was a first for me in a nail salon. I am getting a gift certificate for the same friend for Xmas because we both love it there. My friend is super picky about nail salons and this place is her favorite also when she visits from Oregon. read more

The young lady that did my gel mani and pedi service was Cloe (that's how she spelled it on her business card). I'm sure she will blame the products, but technique is everything and lacking! The gel was very lumpy and uneven and she didn't come close to the cuticle. I hate that! I paid $138 for this service! They use old pumice stones for their pricey pedicures, which are completely up sold! The gel on my pedi is fine, but the dead skin is the issue. I usually get a pedi once a month, but it's just like I never received one! This is very shoddy work, not to mention I was not offered anything to drink, like just about everyone else who was offered water, orange juice, etc. I wish I never wasted my time coming here! read more

I've gone here twice so far-one for a deluxe pedi and acrylic tips with dip and second time just removal with shaping and dip. I am so happy with the service! This location is the best I've found since moving to Moncks Corner. I rarely get my nails done because it's difficult to find a place that has not only a great atmosphere, exceptional customer service but also quality results. Highly recommend. read more

First time coming to this place, and it will be the last for sure. Came with my mom and daughter, and the entire experience was just not great. The girl doing my pedicure was EXTREMELY pushy in upwelling to the most expensive pedicure. When I declined and asked for the classic pedicure ($42 for this one), she rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. She attempted to push the gel polish on me; again I declined and said regular polish, and she again mumbled under her breath. I asked her how much the kids pedicure was for my daughter, and she didn't reply. I asked the manager and he told me $30. They still charged me $42 at the register for my daughter and I had to ask for a refund after paying. The pedicure itself wasn't even worth $42- barely had a massage and did minimal clean up on my toes. Didn't push back cuticles or anything. I'll be going elsewhere moving forward! read more

I came in for a nail removal; there was nothing wrong with the initial nails, just needed to get them removed for work. The lady who serviced me nicked my skin under my thumb nail as she was cutting the nails down, at the very beginning of the service. No big deal, stuff happens. My nail started bleeding, she grabbed the antiseptic and put the tip ON my cut. She tried to pry off the acrylic with a nail tip, and when it was nearly ripping my natural nail, i told her i would prefer a soak instead so she wasn't manhandling my nails. Only then did she bring the soak out, but not after she used her OWN thumbnail as a last ditch attempt to try and pry off the acrylic, getting her nail all over my cut and blood. It was really unsanitary; I was actually so appalled that she would even touch my cut. She didn't sanitize her tools after, either. It was pretty disgusting. To add, none of my service was discounted and I ended up paying $37 for horrible and unsanitary service. I would only come back if I was really strapped for time, It seemed like they had a few good nail techs but my experience was less than stellar. read more

I have been going to this nail salon almost since it opened. The place is well decorated, clean and has a calming vibe. Anna is my typical nail tech and she's amazing! But all techs that have provided a service to me or my kiddo have all been great. The staff is polite, welcoming and engaging. The owner is on top of it and assists with appointments as needed. For instance, if Anna is with a client when I arrive the owner will work on removing the previous dip product from my nails so that I still get done in a timely manner. It means a lot that they respect my time. read more

I will never again. I got dip powder over my natural nails about 10 days ago. I noticed the acrylic was not smooth. But no problem. it happens and I love the color. Well my thumbnail chipped so I went in for a repair. Timmy (nail tech) opted to attempt to separate the acrylic from my nail instead of soaking it off. He grabbed a nail tip from a box and began to pry the acrylic off. And, he stabbed me. I said, "ouch" and snatched my hand back. He then placed the nail back in the box and got the drill to file the acrylic down. That is when I saw blood. I said "stop I'm bleeding". He did not get antiseptic. He did not get new tools. Nor did He get the nail he used out of the box. He simply told me to soak my thumb nail in nail remover. And on that note I left. read more

I came in to get a regular pedicure and regular polish on my nails. The lady kept trying to upsell me, but I told her several times, no to gel on both my nails and no to it on my toes. Just regular polish. She asked me 3 more times while doing my feet and then a few more times while doing my nails. I kept saying, "no thank you, I am ok." I came to this same location 2 other times and I always paid around $67 and I give a tip. They told me the charge for today was $80! I was so confused because I didn't even get gel polish just regular polish (the cost was way more then I ever paid them before). I asked for a manager because I was not told the cost of everything before had. He said they charge extra if you don't get gel polish, they charge extra to remove polish and they charge an extra $5 for I am assuming cut down. My advice is don't come here. They are expensive and are over price for no reason. I literally came here two weeks ago and got black polish and it started to chip as soon after I left and the UV light burned my hand. I told myself I wanted to give gel a break and ask for a new nail tech and they did not care about that. The overcharged was crazy, I promise you it's not worth it. read more
