this place is a DISASTER! Came in for a dip removal, dip new set and pedicure. They first had me sit to take my dip off but then asked me to gather my things to move to a pedicure chair. Nobody offfered to help so i had to remove the foil from my nails to grab my things.Ince seared AGAIN they had to redo the whole process. I picked out a dip color and they found a perfect regular polish color for my toes. I shown him the desires shape and overall style of my nails. He was very gentle. A great Eye for details. Like lint from the paper towels. To dry cuticles near my nails bed. This salon also have a great selection of nail and gel polishes. Even the new #OPI's indefinite. High gloss Which seems to dry quickly. I was on my way to Summerville to visit Glow Bar Nails. This was my first visit here based on a glowing recommendation and quite a few raving reviews. While I ended with a final result that I was well pleased with I can't say my overall experience met the same expectations. The nail tech did a superb job on my nails, kudos to him. My rating is a 4 based on him, his workmanship and the importance of having an appointment to avoid wait time. I was seated immediately upon my arrival. Moving to the reason in good faith I could not rate 5 stars across the board. I cringed at the lack of cleanliness throughout this establishment. Not to mention the tools being used client after client and not being properly sanitized in between each service. Even my nail tech was handling everything from checking others in, drinking his drink during my service and never once stopping to properly wash his hands or use hand sanitizer. There is a sign to wash hands before service of which I started to do, he stated it wasn't necessary until he finished. I was puzzled and baffled. Yes, I know there may be risks involved in getting nails done in the middle of a pandemic but I thought everyone would be doing their part to go above and beyond to reassure that all measures were met to provide all who frequented this establishment the reassurance that it is safe. Was looking for a place that did SNS/Dip nails. Walked in and Tony was able to help me pretty quickly even though they were very busy. He was nice and funny and my nails are adorable. It took about 45ish minutes and costed $55. They feel very light and natural, I am happy with them. He told me if I like my nails and wanted to come back he recommends I make an appointment because he is the only one who can do dip nails so if he is busy I could be waiting a good minute. read more

My whole family enjoys this nail salon, they are very busy so it's always best to make an appointment, my mom always goes to Tony for her nails and she absolutely loves him. She won't go to anyone else, her nails always last plus he deals with her (she's extremely picky) and he always figures out where he can fit us in. My grandmother and I always get pedicures and I will say Every other place I've tried hasn't done nearly as good of a job especially on the designs. they even stopped taking walk ins and let us book up all the last appointments for me and a group of my family/friends before my baby shower which was pretty amazing to be able to enjoy the pampering when I couldn't touch my toes and for it to only be my group of people there. Let's just say I paid $50 for a fill and gel French paint, I usually pay $35. What made it worse was the paint started chipping after 3 days... Not impressed. The technician was pregnant so I didn't make a fuss, but for that price they should use better nail polish. I'll try and post a picture of the work but I'm not sure it'll stay on there. Technician was friendly and open to talking about their technique which is very important to me, especially since this is not my regular nail salon. Happy that they use the same Gel technique as my regular technician. Great location near a semi-busy intersection, Wal-Mart, Rite-Aide and Sweet Frog!! I have been searching for a place that uses SNS in this area. I have had my nails done using this process for the last two years. It is cheaper (process is not as long as gel powder etc.) and better for your nails. I went to this salon based on the reviews here. I was highly disappointed! First off, the arrogance & rudeness was palpable. Even another lady that works there gave me a look of pure astonishment. Secondly, I was first quoted $50.00 for a full set. I explained that I have never paid that much for SNS (have had SNS process done in SC Texas and GA). Were they sure that was the price? I was surprised. I went on to explained that these were my nails. I did not need tips put on. Only needed the polish taken off and put a new color on. The lady then quoted me $60.00 (not sure where that amount came from... since she just quoted me $50.00). I was shocked. I told her that that price was absolutely ridiculous! I have paid $35.00 - $40.00 for a take off and put on. Explained that she should do her reasearch on her pricing because she is overcharging her customers. If, this is indeed the price she always charges. I said thanks but no thanks. Thirdly, I looked at their price list and SNS in not on there at all. Plus they overcharge for most of their services. It is pretty sad. That may also explain why it was empty in there. I highly recommend you do research on the price of SNS before paying the ridiculous price this nail salon charges. Came to visit a friend and we decided to get pedicures. We came Monday afternoon after ; and it was jam packed with a 45 minute wait. We decided to go anointed day. We made appointments for a few days later and got seated and taken care of right away. I asked for a nail design, the tech did it and it was fabulous. I moved and smudged it. I got a gift certificate from the hubby for my birthday for a Deluxe pedicure. We are new to town and he figured he would try this place. Well first thing, in the envelope was the certificate and a business card, each had a different phone number on it. One is not in service, the other goes to a voicemail, which after leaving 2 messages I got no return phone call. So finally drove up to the salon. I had a few minute wait which was fine. While waiting I had to pick my color which was a huge disappointment. The color selection was less than stellar. Most of the bottles where cheaply brands like pure ice that you can get at Wal-Mart. Very few o.p.i brand and what they did have you could tell most of the bottles where almost empty. So I settled on a color instead of my enthusiastic I Must have this one. My pedicure starts and honestly I don't know what made this a deluxe vs a regular besides a scoop of bath salts. Clerk was nice enough although I never caught their name. I also got my eyebrows waxed and I thought they were taking me in a closed room as that is just what you did back where I moved from so I was caught off guard when we stopped at a desk chair in the middle of the room. Nothing like being the topic of conversation while getting your eyebrows ripped off your face. I just think for the price there has got to be better salons in the area.
