Didn't seem to be a problem with electric, refrigerant, etc. We'd had the unit serviced recently so not much dirt on the unit.. I guess we're lucky because in the few years we've been here both our units have functioned great. Wasn't sure who to call, but we'd had a great experience with the plumbing side of Hansen, so we reached out. Scheduling was very easy. You can do so online, or a real person answers the phone. They offered to have someone out within a few hours! Our problem wasn't that urgent, but it's comforting to know. Benjamin was our technician, and he was great with communication. He diagnosed the problem (leaking fan motor) very quickly, and gave us options for repair. At no time was he pushy about anything, just factual. We were on the fence with repair vs replace, but decided the unit had enough life in it to repair. Ben also gave us figures on replacing with an eye towards the future. He wrote it all up even knowing that we weren't going to buy anything in the short term. This is really excellent customer service, and you can bet when we're ready we will remember. The repairs were done quickly, we got an email with the invoice and pictures of all the areas worked on. The property was left tidy, and it was an overall excellent experience. That was a week ago, and our AC is working better than it has in the past two years.

One I tried and couldn't figure out and the other I had zero clue. I called and requested the service, I was called back within an hour, had a great conversation with Melanie who advised me to send pictures to Nick the plumber. Nick called me, listened to me explain the issue, I answered a few questions and he explained what I needed to do. Took me all of 5 min for one issue and the other should take about 10 min. This is extremely helpful, because I did nothing special, I just had no clue what to do, but instead of charging me a service fee and spending 15 min at my home (like previous companies have done in the past), Nick saved me money and time, in turn freeing him or someone else there up to help other customers that truly need a plumber. At 9:30, I finally received a text saying the technician was "on the way." I understand that jobs can run over, but it's common courtesy -- and basic professionalism -- to communicate delays to customers ahead of time. People take time off work and arrange their schedules around these appointments. The complete disregard for my time was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
