Based on reviews, we hired this company one time. My call was answered promptly and they were able to come to our home the following day. Eric and his partner arrived much earlier than our appointment time, which was inconvenient and unexpected. While working on adjusting shower drips in two bathrooms and trying to repair master shower temperature problems, they did not wear shoe protectors or offer to remove their shoes. Dirty, wet, shoe tracks were left throughout the home. They were able to repair one shower that did not have hot and cold water, but not the shower head on the opposite wall of the same shower. The dripping faucets were repaired in the two remaining showers, but after the repair, they had no hot water. I had explained during their visit that we had had a recirculating pump replaced a few years prior, suggesting that the recirculating pump may have had something to do with the temperature problems in the master shower. They checked the recirculating pump during the visit, (although I'm not sure what they did during the inspection.) But after they left, I checked it and found that it had been turned off. When I turned it back on, the hot water immediately returned to the two showers. For all of this I paid a little less than $500 and the dripping faucet problems returned shortly thereafter. I chose EH Plumbing partly because of the great reviews on Yelp. However, part of a good business is doing the job right, admitting when you have made a mistake and correcting that mistake in an equitable manner. The owner, Eric, is clearly not in this category. Eric's employee, Matt, was having trouble cleaning a simple clogged kitchen drain. He used a large snake and thought he had cleared the clog, but in fact had punched a hole in the drain pipe just below the cleanout, inside the wall, above our back patio floor. When we noticed water coming from the wall and draining on the patio several days later, I called Eric. Eric came out and immediately began to deny that his work had anything to do with the problem; that we had "defective pipes" and it was a "coincidence" that our leak occurred immediately after Matt had cleaned the pipes. He claimed a snake could not cause that damage and any plumber would tell me that. He refused to fix the problem. I had a highly qualified plumber come out to look at the problem and guess what...he stated the snake was used incorrectly and most definitely poked the hole in the pipe. Eric's insurance company also agreed and paid my claim of almost $1,000 to repair my pipe and wall. Eric does not stand by his work. At least he has insurance that does. Mark V read more

We can not recommend this company more. They have done many projects for us in our home. They have done everything from installing toilets to taking care of us when we had a plumbing leak that ended up needing remediation. They are always super responsive and reasonably priced. I know when I call them to do work they are going to give me a fair price with top quality service. I never have to worry about being oversold with Eric and his team. They are so honest they even told us to call a landscaper when we called them in a panic over a leak that we had that was a part of our irrigation system. Eric looked at the pictures and knew right away that our landscaping company could handle it and that a landscaper would cost us less than a hoe visit from them. Integrity over profit speaks volumes to me. I will continue to not only use them for my home but for my business as well. Mark is extremely professional, his attention to detail is spot on, he is personable (we consider him our friend at this point!), and we have been extremely happy with every repair job that he has come to help us out with -- giving us advice and also being there to answer all of our questions in a timely manner. What we appreciate most is that Mark never rushes through a job. We noticed that our water pressure was very low and we were worried that we may have a leak or some other issue. Hansen Family Plumbing and Air sent Anthony out the next day. I was notified a half hour before he arrived. Anthony was very professional and thorough. He checked the pressure on several faucets and then made sure that the regulator was working. He also checked to make sure that our water filter/softener was not causing issues. Anthony then adjusted our water pressure and answered a bunch of my questions and was on his way. We have not been in this home long and I learned a lot about how all of our water systems worked (irrigation, softener, etc.) I believe that we have found our new Plumbing and Air company. read more

I called Hansen Family Plumbing after reading the positive reviews here especially the review about their worker Danny who wore a mask during the pandemic. I needed my toilet shut off valves replaced but at the same time I didn't want to risk my health. It's important that a company takes serious precautions during the Corona virus and not just use words as an advertising gimmick. Well, Danny was wonderful! He wore a mask and also shoe covers and was very careful. He was pleasantly friendly, respectful and upfront about the price. He completed the job successfully in only 30 minutes! After our hot water tank went out on Friday night we figured it would be until Monday or Tuesday before we could get someone out to do the repairs without gouging us for an emergency call. Boy were we very surprised. Called Hansen's around 8 a.m. on Saturday. Spoke to Eric and told him what happened. He was here by 11:30 and all the work was done before 2:00. The work was excellent, the price was exactly what he quoted us- which was less than with the estimates we researched on line. Plus it was a weekend ! We had a water leak in the wall between the bedroom and bathroom. We weren't aware of it until it started getting into the bathroom. I called Hansen Family Plumbing almost in tears because it was getting worse by the minute it seemed. They were awesome!!! Lisa was great to work with and got someone out the same day to fix the problem. I first talked to Gabriella, and she had me contact Precision Locating to find out exactly where the leak was. Excellent customer service and professional workmanship. I contacted EH Plumbing looking for different bids to fix my plumbing problem. Eric explained the process leading to repair an underground root vs. pipe. Including using a snake, diagnosing the location and the labor/ repair charge. The quote they gave me was spot on, I wasn't charged a dime more. The job was done in about 3.5 hours, 3 employees came out, dug the hole, found the broken pipe, repaired the root infested pipe, added a clean out and put the yard back the way it started. I had an issue with the water heater in my condo, and Erik the owner, came over on his day off to take a look at the issues I was having. He didnt charge me anything, and was able to make some quick adjustments to the water heater to make sure the pilot light would stay lit. He gave me a list of options I had for a new water heater and what it would cost to have it installed. Erik was incredibly professional, and really went above and beyond to help me out. I can't say enough about this company! For the second time in the past two months I have needed a plumber. My guest shower was leaking this time. Erik answered the phone and greeted me by name, he explained that it was more than likely the cartridges for the shower valve and quoted me on the phone. He arrived first thing the next morning and changed out the cartridge. There was no unexpected fees or charges and he cleaned up after he was done. Chad Allen made his initial evaluation and estimate on Labor Day, after I had reported a significant leak. He proposed the installation of a new Pressure Vacuum Breaker and provided an immediate estimate. When it was approved, Chad made a valiant effort to immediately locate the required parts, despite the fact it was a holiday. When unsuccessful, he scheduled a follow-up the next day, arriving with parts in hand, fully prepared to finalise the installation. Woke early this morning (Saturday) to a water heater spewing water like Niagra Falls. Called Hansen, and they sent out Mike, who arrived EARLIER than promised, and had the old beast replaced in no time. This guy has some serious experience, did great work, cleaned everything up, and even stuck around after completing the job to answer a bunch of my questions about water heater maintenance, and other plumbing questions. If the rest of their technicians are even half as good as Mike, you can't go wrong with Hansen. I'll be using them again, and with my old house, I expect to send a lot more business their way! read more

A lot can be said when a company is unwilling to give you a price or a general price over the phone. Their guys come to your house and use extreme pressure to overcharge and push you into some made-up membership program. Its a very gross business. Spoke with owner Erik about our problems along with Shelby and after months and months of lack of support, I had to hire another company to fix their problems. I would not trust this company with my elderly parents. I feel like they would bend truth on services required, overcharge and run. Hoping to protect another family. read more
