I moved to the Santa Clarita area about a year ago. Thankfully I found Got Paws! Samantha takes care of my senior cat who is on a daily medication as well as had numerous medical issues. Samantha always texts me after each visit to let me know how my cat is doing and is patient and understanding since my cat is frankly, a cranky old lady! Most recently, I was out of town this past 4th of July weekend and Samantha texted me on Thursday late morning to inform me of the earthquake. I was worried and felt helpless since I was not closeby, but Samantha immediately said that she would go back to my house to check on my cat. How many cat sitters would ever do that for you? None that I know of. She didn't even think to ask to be paid for the extra visit either! She even texted a picture of my cat just looking out the window - unfazed by the earthquake. And even offered to go back to give my cat her dinner should my flight be delayed (luckily that was not the case). I have had last minute business trips and Got Paws has always accommodated my schedule. I am blessed to have found Got Paws, and in particular, I am lucky to have Samantha for everything she does in her understanding and care of my cat when I am traveling. We have been using Got Paws for several years now. Nikki is wonderful and runs her business so professionally. We have never had to wonder if a sitter was going to show up. All of the sitters we have used have been great with our dogs. I swear they are all dog whistlers. They all send pictures reassuring you that your dogs are doing well. Karen is our favorite sitter. She really goes above and beyond when she sits for our dogs, sending us videos and lots of updates. Some of the best pictures I have of our dogs were taken by Karen. Our dogs LOVE her. Recently, one of our dogs had an injury and we had to go out of town. Karen took extra good care of our baby, giving her medications as needed. I've used Got Paws a few times now and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Linda has always looked after my three cats and she's just fantastic, not only making sure they get fed, watered, and keeping litter boxes clean but giving them affection and taking care of the little things around the house too, like bringing in packages and changing the batteries in the smoke detectors. She sends me a daily text after each visit with a photo of the kitties and a quick update of how they're getting along which is so reassuring when you're a long way from home and prone to worry about your feline family. I went to Hawaii for a week to visit my fiancé. It was my first time leaving our cat, Bellatrix, alone for more than a 12 shift at work. She is not a big fan of strangers, and will usually just hide anytime someone else comes over. Amanda made three visits in the time I was gone, and I was amazed to see that Bellatrix actually left her hiding spot! Amanda was great. She has to be some sort of cat whisperer to work that magic on our cat! There was even still good in the dish when I got home. (Which is saying something, because my cat is a fatty.) My rubber tree plant got even taller, and all the mail was in a nice organized pile on the dining room table! Got Paws is a great little company, and run very well by people who truly care about animals. The consult was very quick, but still detailed, and Nikki and Amanda knew exactly what questions to ask. Got Paws? is a really efficient and professional company run by a very organized Nikki! We had met Nikki & Jessica a month earlier because they were supposed to pet sit for us while we went to Hawaii. Unfortunately that trip was cancelled due to a family emergency. We had another trip suddenly come up this past week. We called Nikki the day before we were leaving out of town and asked if she could watch our pets and stay overnight for three nights. Nikki got back to me right away and made arrangements to handle the pet sitting job. Nikki is so organized and professional. We had a lot for her to do at our house (a lab mix, a pug mix, a blind Basenji, a cat, a saltwater fish tank, a jacuzzi) but she handled it all with no problem. I loved that her helper Jessica and Nikki sent text messages everyday to say how the pets were doing and also sent pics of them. We felt really comfortable with Nikki & Jessica staying in our home and watching our "kids". It was nice not to worry if everything and everyone was being taken care of. First time using a pet sitting service. I usually leave my dog with family as I'm very picky who comes to my home and who takes care of my dog as she's a bit special in that she's hyper, obsessed with playing, skittish around strangers and not dog friendly. I contacted Got Paws online got a response a day later with information. I got scheduled to meet with Sam and Valerie. They were punctual to our meeting, they were both very nice, they're actually mother and daughter, they made me feel a bit at ease knowing that they have 3 dogs themselves and showed me pics of them! I was still nervous about leaving for an entire week. Crazy dog lady here! They were scheduled to come once a week to work out the dog and feed her, I told them my preferred time in the evening but gave them a window of time, specific instructions of her favorite toys, her playtime routine, her food, what to avoid, etc. First day on vacation I receive a text from Sam, with pictures and details of her visit. She went at the exact time I had requested. Sam played with her, followed all my requests and fed her. I have cameras around the house and I was able to see Sam playing fetch outside and my dog happily running around burning some energy. Sam was amazing during her visits. Valerie's was wonderful the times she visited she followed all my requests, was there at the exact time I had requested and sent me pictures and updates. Sam and Valerie made a great team and I'm so glad I used this service. Such peace of mind knowing my pup was being looked after by people that care. All 6 days they visited I got reassurance that everything was fine with pics, video and updates. The last day Sam texted me and she actually spent more time than normal with my monkey just playing and keeping her company. I will definitely use them again! Happy with their service. After a quick and efficient home visit (with profile information forwarded via email so we could have all the details filled out ahead of time), we were all set for Brittany to watch our two small dogs. The service couldn't have been better, and felt she took care of the pups as though they were her own. After a week away which included two overnight stays in addition to the twice daily visits, the dogs were calm and happy - no indication they'd even missed us. Nice to have the house, plants and mail taken care of as well. Love the ability to request services, make changes to our personal info and pay all on line. When I called Nikki almost 2 months ago, I was at my wit's end. My Aussie shepherd was destroying my home everytime I left. I tried meds. I tried acupuncture. Nothing worked. I had to take him and my little poodle to kennel day care every day. Then I found Got Paws! They have been life savers! My Aussie Shepherd was also a foot attacker and I was so worried he would hurt someone. Nikki assigned Stephen to walk my dogs.
