Her knowledge of dog behavior made her a clear choice when I was considering how to get his needs met while hubby was away on a business trip (usually works from home). We have had this dog for 5 years and this is the first time she has EVER peed or pooped in the house. She also peed and pooped again when I took her out when I got home. During one daycare day, my pup went through a little (non-contagious) health episode and started showing symptoms while under the care of this watchful team who called me right away so that I could get him into the vet. We have enjoyed both daycare and boarding services and each have been positive. I always appreciate hearing updates about behavior observations when picking him up at the end of a day--truly demonstrates how much attention is paid throughout the day. Our dog, Shaka, just loved spending time with her and the other pups she cared for. We were a little worried at first about his temperament being around others (humans and other animals) since he gets a little skittish, but he seemed to thrive there. When it was pick-up time, he was always happy and seemed to sleep very well from getting his exercise and socialize in. (He also smelled great on his longer stays. Thank you for the baths!) Jen is super flexible and communicative. We were so appreciative of this since we tend be rather spontaneous and would ask to drop him off the day before sometimes. We also would extend his stay last minute, for example, when we were taking road trips and wanted to stop for the night instead of driving all the way through a town. (Sorry and thank you so much, Jen!) Shaka has stayed over from one day to two weeks (possibly more), and each time, we've received text updates from her and even pictures of him happy with his friends. I always looked forward to those. Shaka passed away early last year, and I've been meaning to write this for a long time to say, "Thank you, Jen!" for being such a wonderful caregiver and trustworthy and friendly person overall. Patricia took the time to get to know both my dogs and understand their individual needs. She worked with them for a month before she played matchmaker with her staff and found the perfect walker, Jason, for my critters. They LOVED him from the first time they met him. He's a confident guy and can easily handle my boy who is still working on polite leash skills around strange dogs. And Jason is also gentle enough for my girl, who is usually terrified of strangers and cowers around men. After each walk, I get a text update along with a handwritten note about the day. I even get photos (attached to this review)! Jason not only walks them, picks up after them, and wipes their paws upon returning home, but he also plays fetch with them and makes sure they're happy and relaxed before he leaves. Our dog was bitten and injured by another dog while at 3 Dogs' day care in late October 2023. 3…read moreDogs' actions over the past several weeks show that this is not a responsible, caring, or safe facility. I encourage you to keep our experience in mind when you choose a dog day care. 1. 3 Dogs did not reach out to check on our dog or see how she was doing. They knew that our dog had puncture wounds, needed an same-day urgent care vet visit, sedation for the puncture wounds to be flushed and treated, three prescriptions, follow up visits, constant monitoring, etc. We finally reached out to them after 2 weeks of not hearing from them. 2. When we reached out to them to ask about their procedures when a dog is injured while in their care, they seemed to have no procedures. No incident report was made. There was no surveillance video of the scuffle / bite. The staff member that I talked to on the phone was not aware of the incident until I contacted 3 Dogs. 3. When we asked what happened with the dog that bit our dog, they said that nothing happened - the other dog did not go home early, there was no change to the dog's schedule (until weeks later when we requested it), and we learned later that the other dog's owner was not EVEN INFORMED THAT SHE BIT OUR DOG. 4. 3 Dogs has changed their story over and over. As of our last email with them today, they are now blaming our dog for being bitten. Our dog and the other dog do NOT know each other beyond living in the same neighborhood; they have never had an incident outside of 3 Dogs. However, 3 Dogs keeps repeating this story that the two dogs "have a history" and "know each other" and that was a contributing factor, instead of taking a speck of responsibility for the dog injury happening at their facility when our dog was under their care. After being customers since 2020 or 2021, we will never go back. I encourage you to go elsewhere, too.

Nikki is super-reliable, always on time for pickups, extraordinarily friendly, and I swear Pocket would stay with her all the time if she could (woe is me but that's the breaks). Pocket has a habit of getting in other dogs faces, regardless of size, in a desperate attempt to make out with them. This can be dangerous with some dogs and Nikki has done an excellent job of working with her to curb the behavior. She also taught her recall which Pocket is a champ at, as a result. Nikki's normal pickup time for me was 10am and starting around 0930 EVERY MORNING my dog would just sit and wait in eager anticipation for Nikki's arrival. And then promptly go absolutely bananas when Nikki arrived. I would trust Nikki 100% with any dog. She clearly loves them and cares for them immensely.

And not to forget the best part, sometimes you get surprised with these hilarious dress-up photos like when she gave our little guy a neck warmer or dressed him up like a Viking on Halloween!
