Our sniffers were activated and we followed the smell. Aww. A bakery. This must be the source! Inside, we went. Our host greeted us and we asked about the smell. She told us they were baking raisin cookies. Drat! Not on display, not invited to try. Drat! We asked what we could buy. I landed on a gop, what I know as a whoopee pie. And raspberry tea.
